This is a great film in every aspect from the acting, story and really amazing and awesome special effects especially in 3D!!! It's also very enjoyable in 2D as well! If your a fan of Sci-Fi and intense action than you won't be disappointed:-)

Original Star Trek movies are great as a group, but lets be honest, only Star Trek II, III & IV are good on their own. Now with the new franchise they are getting the best of the originals and giving them new twist, but with the same excitement.

Star Trek Into Darkness was a fun ride with plenty of edge of your seat moments with a big twist at the end. Casting was perfect these are the young versions of Spock, Kirk, Bones ,Uhura etc. If you liked the first Star Trek you'll love this one

Would definitely recommend this for any star trek fan. New take on the khan vs kirk tale. Peter weller delivers another excellant performance as a co star along with cumberbatch. Never lets you go from start to finish.

Even though these new Star Treks are a bit more action oriented I loved the retelling of an old plot line. Great movie if you can keep an open mind if you're a fan of the old Star Trek.

This is one of the great Star Trek movies out there. There's intense action, great acting, and the special effects got an Academy Award Nomination for Best Visual Effects. If you're a die-hard Star Trek fan, you shouldn't pass this up.

As always great movie but if you get a chance to see it in 4K...Wow! Upgraded our old tv and took a huge step to 75 inch LG Tv and new 4K Yahama receiver and Dvd 4K LG player. Just like theater but better!

Star Trek remakes were great. The original TV and movies were great. They did great with the remakes. Like the way the stories combined some of the originals into one remake.

I really enjoyed this movie and am a long time fan of Star Trek. I think this movie had a great plot and was a lot of fun. I know that some people who care way more about Star Trek than I do didn't like the movie, but I really enjoyed it.

This movie had a lot of funny parts, i am Not a Star Track fan, but i really Enjoyed it. It had a lot of parts that was suspenseful and then there was a lot of part that was also funny. I really Enjoyed it.

So its a retelling of a classic Trek movie, yeah but its the new approach on telling the story that makes it stand out. Personally I like both because they parallel each other but are not exactly the same.

This is a great sci-fi action movie with excellent picture and sound. However, if you want all the special features and the IMAX scenes in the their full/open format this is not the version you're looking for. You will need the Compendium set or the 2-blu-rays that are included in the 3-disc Ultra HD version for that.

Purchased this as a gift for my mother in law and she is very happy with it. The digital copy is the main reason I chose this version, since she (and I) continues to build her digital library. I'm not sure if she's even used the disc at all, but as I said, she's very happy with this gift, so there ya go!

I bought this movie on 4K because I wanted to experience the clarity and detail that it offers. I was not disappointed! this movies is really fun and family friendly and has a lot of action with amazing effects!

I've watched all the star trek out there and because grow up with the original star trek it can be a little hard to except the remake. It is not bad and great effect but they tried too hard to follow the original wrath of khan. Over all it is a good way to get new people into star trek and to have long time star trek fans to at least see Trek.

I was never a Star Trek fan growing up, but the first 2 movies in J.J. Abrams reboot have been fantastic. Great cast, great story line, and the special effects are fantastic. This is a must purchase, along with the first Star Trek movie.

Sequels are usually not so great but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Watching it at home, on Blu-ray, with subtitles and surround sound made it very enjoyable for our family. I felt like the script was well written, all returning characters flowed in their roles, and the director, JJ Abrams, delivered as dynamic a movie as "Star Trek" (2009).

this was a triple pack blue ray,dvd,digital in 1case it is very convenient I have been a star trek fan from the very beginning and I think that the reimagining was dne very well I am looking forward to further adventure w/ our new crew

brought this because i'm a star trek fan. nice movie. blue-ray was a bonus but couldn't see the difference between blue-ray and dvd on my 50" tv. unless you have a tv much bigger than 50", blue-ray probably isn't necessary.

Excellent picture quality and great audio. Highly recommend it for those wishing to test out their home theater system. Very entertaining movie.
