Another great addition to the Star Trek franchise. While not as good as The Wrath of Kahn it is still a solid movie with great action, some good comedy and a compelling story.

This move takes it up another notch. Much fun to watch. This move picks up where the first one left off. I especially liked the Blu-ray and DVD combo pack because we do not have a Blu-ray player yet but hope to get one soon.

I was always a Star Wars fan over Star Trek......until the first Star Trek movie with these actors. This second installment of the series does not disappoint. Good storyline, good acting, good action. Tons of fun to watch.

If your a fan of 3D movies, like myself. This ones a no brainer, you've gotta get it. There are some amazing scenes in the movie where you feel like your right in the action. A definite must for the 3D enthusiast.

JJ Abrams does an excellent job of staying true to the original TV series as well as the movies. Fans will not be disappointed and will notice his great attention to detail that only die hard fans will notice.

I saw this film in theaters and knew I would like to own the blu-ray. The blu-ray does not disappoint. A crisp picture, perfect sound, all encompassed by a great plot, a gorgeous cast, and tons of action. Worth every penny.

This is by far my favorite of the 3 latest Star Trek movies. This movie has excellent dialogue, the characters I feel are at the strongest, and the story is pretty darn good. I completely recommend.

The movie package comes with the main feature on both Blu-ray and DVD. Bonus features are included on the Blu-ray disc. A digital download is also available. This movie gets two ratings: 3 stars for original series fans; 5 stars for those looking strictly for a daring adventure film rich in amazing special effects. The film is a prequel to the original series. The main characters are quite different, not yet seasoned Star Fleet officers nor united in their efforts, and, the villain Kahn is old news. As pure adventure the film is thrilling. Indeed, the Bonus features on the disc focuses almost exclusively on the creation of the special effects and the costumes, not the plot or the characters. In the end, for big fans of the original series, having a Star Trek movie is better than none at all.

It's rare for sequels to outdo the first entry of this reboot but when this movie filled up my 65-inch Sony screen with "IMAX moments", I was speechless. Simply an astounding 4k presentation!

I’m a huge fan of this Star Trek trilogy and this is my personal favorite of the 3. Love this movie and can’t recommend enough to people who love sci-fi

I've been a Trek fan since the beginning and love how the stories and characters keep evolving with the times. Also, the tech and special effects just keeps getting better and better. Great stuff!

I really love the way the characters really took on the personas of the originals - McCoy is awesome! Not sure I am into the bridge romance thing between Spock and O'Hura - never would happen in a real military situation.

ST II looks amazing in 4k. Worth the upgrade over bluray with sale I got. If you don't already own it this is essential fir the collection. Fun action packed popcorn flick, and a great demo of 4k.

Great time watching the continual story of the Star Trek crew flying though space. With the crew changing some of the major roles that took place in the original, but still being able to keep you on the edge of your seat.

This was my favorite of the re released Star Trek movies. The cast is solid and the plot is engaging. The 4k quality and sound make this a must buy for anyone who loves sci fi and has a home theater.

I saw this originally in the theater and loved it right away. I knew i would be buying it when it came out..I went with the Bluray..the video quality is amazing as well as the sound. A must have for any Trekkie

The second Star Trek with the new cast and this one is even better then the 2009 one. I few friends of mine didn't like the Khan was white but the action scenes are amazing. Worth owning!!!

What's there to say? Star Trek Into Darkness is one of the most successful blockbusters of 2013 for a reason. Its a great visual spectacle with tons of action and a good story! The Blu-Ray looks fantastic on my 55" LED!

A great follow-up to the "original" Star Trek. Cast is well selected and each pays homage to their predecessors very well. Excellent move to create a new story line from a loved and already existing group of characters!
