Bought this Steel book edition to add to my Star Trek collection...Just for the Hot Wheels model ship...

This is a great movie and to see it in HD on blu-ray is great! Action packed, thrilling, and great acting! Got a great deal on this movie during Black Friday. Well worth it!

Movies look amazing! You will not be disappointed. Big improvement over the previous blu-ray release.

I never watched a full episode or movie of the Star Trek franchise until Abrams revived the series, and now I am a Trekkie. Although I will still only watch the new stuff...

And while the picture was clear, this movie switches back and forth between IMAX letterbox and full screen. I found that distracting. I also question why anyone would spend 30.00 on a movie you might watch twice. My son really wanted it.

This was a good Star Trek movie, it had the exploration, discovery, character development/growth, and action. It did have some questionable choices in the musical score, but overall it was a really entertaining movie! Well worth buying.

4k really brings this movie to life. The vivid cinematography I remembered from watching before was even clearer and more life like as I expected.

Star Trek Into Darkness is Star Trek ll The Wrath of Khan. Everyone should know this by now. Felt strange when I saw Spock yell out the obligatory Khan. Image quality and sound is excellent on this blu-ray. Haven't looked into the special features yet.

Funny story... the price was so good that I picked this up. When I got home I realized I already had it... Keep up the great pricing on blurays!

This release of this movie is a hundred times better then the original bluray release. This release includes the IMAX scenes in 4K HDR. Which is amazing!!

I initially saw this in the theater to take advantage of the big screen format. I purchased a 4K tv and had to see if it looked as good. It's even better.

I enjoyed this movie. I'm not a Trekkie so I can't say if this film holds true to the show, but it follows a similar pattern that the first film created. It is very action packed, the acting was good and I enjoyed the plot. I would definitely recommend this.

When you get the opportunity, you have to pick up some of these great films in the steelbook packaging. The best films don't last very long, so get 'em while you can …

Great price and great addition to the Star Trek collection. Having the digital version as well is great as we now don't have to get up to watch the movie.

Watched this when it first came out and thought it was good. Had the chance to buy it with the release of the third movie, was just as good as I remember.

I am a Star Trek fanatic so the latest addition to my collection was a no brainier. JJ made a great movie and the characters Make the movie very real to the original flicks.

Did not know anything before watching this movie and loved that I was surprised by the story line. Kudos to the writers for tying it into the series and previous movie

I actually like the movie. Not everyone does, but as long you except for itself I think it is a fun movie. 4k and HDR make some scenes even better.

This was such an intense movie, but seeing it now in 4K just blows it out of the water. What else is there to say other than buy this movie again in 4K!

As usual if you are a fan of star trek, you will find this is must have in your collection. Agin for the best picture quality a 4k disk can have.
