$ Star rating since 1 disc was bad and Best Buy has an unfriendly short period in exchanges. Paramount Corp. Made good on it and sent me another copy of the bad disc. The movies are great and picture quality was close to cinema quality of old film movies.

Saw the re-released Motion Picture in theatre and couldn’t wait to purchase the physical copy. Bought this box set and am very pleased. Only downside is the digital copy does not include the Director’s Cut of Star Trek VI. Disappointed, but still very happy with purchase.

The motion picture directors cut in 4k is really awesome the color the coreected scenes. And as was Star Trek II Wrath of Khan directors cut and VI Undiscovered Country Director's cut first time on bluray.

For the Star Trek fan, this is worth getting. If you have a 4k blu ray player, the pictures are much sharper as they are remastered & will see everything in greater detail. Add to that the fact the movies I,II,VI are all directors cuts which makes this set worth buying

A worthwhile upgrade for Trekkies and a must-buy if you haven't bought these films before. Fantastic improvements in presentation (TWOK remaster is a carryover). Wonderful to have the Director's Edition of TMP in 4K with a hard-hitting Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

This 4k and Dolby Atmos remastered version is amazing. Getting six 4k movies for only $90 is a steal. The motion picture looks almost like a current movie, with the exception of the uniforms. My main gripe is the oil and residue that was on every single disc and all over the inside of the case. It looked like someone with oily hands touched the bottom of the discs. This is a manufacturing defect. I had to clean every disc with alcohol. At first they looked like scratches, but it was an oily residue which I surmise is the cheap plastic they used. For this, they only get 3 stars instead of 5.

It looks fantastic in 4K UHD Blu-ray! The restoration is top notch and there are plenty of extra behind the scenes special features. The sound is sharp and clear. Impressive on my 50" Sony. I can only imagine how great it would look on the new 85" TVs!

This is truly the definitive release of the Star Trek 1-6 movies. They have gone back to the prints and truly re-mastered each movie for 4K HDR. An amazing picture, sound is flawless, and it shows your favorite characters and ships in all their glory.

For anyone who didn't buy the 4-film collection in 2021, this is a great buy that include Star Trek: The Motion Picture Director's Edition, brought beautifully to 4K.

Includes the Director's Edition of the first movie. STII looks a little washed out but that might be becasue of the original blurred footage. Also includes the director's cut of II and VI.

All 6 original Star Trek movies fully restored on 4k and blu ray. The previous blu rays were terrible, this set finally does justice to these films.

I have been a Star Trek fan from the beginning. This is a great addition and upgrade to my movie collection. I had the movies on DVD. It is worth the cost with the extras and the digital codes.

It had fewer movies than the cheaper set and was 4x the cost. I was seriously annoyed that my local store only had the more costly options, it made me feel slightly conned. Which is why I returned it. I used to leave the store reliably feeling like I'd found a great deal now I generally leave feeling like I'd be better looking somewhere else at least for non-electronic items & movies. Which leads to my not making any purchases.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! This release is worth it if only for the Directors Cut of Star Trek the Motion Picture! I consider the sequels to be nice set of high quality extras!

This 4K selection completed our array of Star Trek movies. In the first 6. Now waiting for a couple more to come out in Ultra 4K

We should all be familiar with these movies! They look absolutely amazing in 4K! My digital copies didn't port over to itunes, but they're in VUDU.

The new 4k looks great and the special features really do make the boxed set worth it! It's nice to have the director's & theatrical cuts for 1, 2, & 6 in the set.

For Trekkies and non-Trekkies, definitely worth the price of admission, especially considering that Star Treks 2 and 6 include the Director's Cut.

A classic collection of great sci-fi films that any Star Trek fan would love. The update to 4K provides a beautiful picture and sound. Highly recommend.
