Too noisy?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a Christmas gift for a child, but the “try me” button wouldn’t turn off and the boom box made a horrendously loud clicking noise every two seconds. There was nowhere in my house I could put it without hearing it so I ultimately took it back and returned it. The only way to disable the “try me” button was to open the box, which I didn’t want to do seeing as it was a Christmas gift.

You can understand anything you say using the voice change feature because of the non stop breathing sound being made. I get it, the breathing is iconic but you couldnt make it stop while you were talking? I wasnt expecting much but even that was too high of an expectation.

There is a lot of static in the walkie talkie and you can hear when someone presses the button to speak. I thought they would be great Christmas gifts for my nephews, so I pushed two. I would not recommend purchasing these.

They like the walkie talkies to play with but barely any signal from room to room in the house and the voice changer doesn't really sound well, kinda garbled.
