Glad to finally have it one of my favorite sci if movies ever

The Star Wars episode that started it all! This is technically the start of it all this is. Its the beginning of the star wars movie franchise. Although, this isn't my favorite in the franchise. It does help in explaining the beginning story of star wars. Therefore, its a must buy!

Big Star Wars fan can watch the whole series over and over.

the best of the old movies. Blu - Ray is a nice addition.

Good old movie one of the best Star Wars pictures.

After loving The Force Awakens, I decided to buy all of the Star Wars movies and watch them. I had never seen this movie before and everyone told me it was amazing. I can't say that I was that impressed with this movie.

If you have the blu-rays - keep them. The picture quality is marginally sharper and color is superficial due to fake HDR. These discs are from the same sources as the bd discs and nothing has changed. These are not new, 4k HDR sourced material, which is why you do not see the dramatic upgrade from dvd to bd. You might find it hard to resist because of the 4k package, but you dont need it.

Like the appearance of the steelbook but this doesn’t have digital or despecialized version. Maybe with Fox merger we will finally get the original.

I received this item as a gift from my wife, but unfortunately, the movie is a Blu-ray, which we do not own, so when we opened the package to watch it (which has no distinguishing features of a Blu-ray), we couldn't watch it. We took the movie back to the store where it was purchased with a receipt and asked to exchange it for the DVD version, and we were met with hostility as though we wanted our money back. When I stated I only wanted to exchange the item for a DVD instead of a blu ray and that I didn't want any money back or store credit, the customer service person said we could only exchange it for the same item and that it was federal law (without any explanation of what she meant by it). I was very irritated and upset because I work for another retailer, and if this happens with one of our customers, we try to make it right and allow exchanges in cases like this. Obviously, I couldn't get a different movie, which I didn't want anyway. I find this return/exchange policy a bit harsh and don't understand why I can't exchange one product for a similar one-- all I wanted was the same movie in a different format; and by the way, the movie that my wife bought didn't come with any extra features; it was just the movie... Really disappointed with Best Buy now.

Cool packaging for gift - steel box is impressive however... lip sync? issue in beginning of movie (dialogue lagging behind video. Then half way thru movie blue ray 'freezes and then skips' . Looked and sounded like a bootlegged VHS tape. Seriously that bad. I returned for another but was disappointment for my son who was to see for first time. Not to mention had to make another trip back to store.

The slipcover was nice. 4k transfer was good. The movie was OK.

I really liked the artwork on these steelbooks, but I felt the lack of bonus features left a lot to be desired.
