4k average at best. If u don't have atmos surround don't buy this

This movie is more like a made for TV soap than a full length Hollywood movie. Parts of it were good.

i forgot how old this was!! i thought it was going to be more interesting but it was long winded.

I thought this was going to be all the star wars dvds im one its just the first edition

The droids are shinier but film grain everywhere and is very distracting.

Classic Movie with a good storyline. I really enjoyed it.

Won't play on my Sony Blue Ray. Returned same day I purchased. Was not allowed a refund. This is likely not legal. I am not a lawyer but computer things can be return in 2 weeks for full refund. Tried another one and it also does not play. Verified my Blue Ray player plays other media. And it does play 4K videos from YouTube. And check for updates for FW online. Nothing worked. And yes there are 3 disks included. All 6 failed. Also another 6 from the Empire Strikes back also failed to load.

This movie looks amazing on my 4K TV, so glad I bought it!

The 4K remaster doesn't look all that great, and the terrible special edition edits are still there.

The disc showed up to my door in the case but not secured in its place. Disc has scratches on it but still plays. back casing on inside is also broke.

The movie is great. I didn't realize this movie came with a slipcover until Episodes V and VI delivered the following day. By then I had already opened IV, so was not able to exchange it for the CORRECT version with a slipcover. It never should have been sent to me like that. VERY poor service from Best Buy.

This is nothing more than a cheap plastic case and regular version of a star wars film for $15. Not a special case or collector's edition or anything. Just cheap plastic for $15.

Upgrade to Blue Ray made no difference in the appeal of this product. Plot development was exceedingly slow and acting was over emoted to say the least. The quality of the product was not worth the cost.

Movies fantastic but the transfer on 4K is terrible the blue ray that is in THX looks much better

Even after 40 years this is still good. Great cast, real story. It may look hokey now and lacks all the super special (?) effects of current era films but still very much worth the viewing.

The DVD is bad it will not play so I’ll have to take it back

You know the story. Movie is awesome. Looks great in bluray. The new story is the steelbook. The art on the front of the cover is clean and shiny. The art on the back is inspired by the original movie poster and has never looked more beautiful than on the back of this steel book case. These editions only feature commentary and nothing else in the way of extras which is disappointing, but I can live without them. A word of warning, these cases are very sleek and shiny to the point of being slippery. Be careful when carrying all of them at once, you might drop them.

One of the best sci-fi movies ever created and a classic! Beloved by many, and transformed the movie genre forever. Everyone knows how great and action filled this movie is, and if you have been living under a rock your whole life, and never watched it, WATCH IT!!! Can be cheesy since it's from the 70's but without a doubt, very entertaining. The entire collection will be released once again in steelbook editions before the new film releases in December, so go ahead and pick these up.
