The artwork on the steelbook is absolutely stunning! I already had all of the movies on DVD but figured that once the steelbooks came out I would upgrade to the Blu-Ray and I wasn't disappointed! If you want all of the additional bonus features then you should probably go for the Anthology box set, but if you're going for appearance all of the steelbooks are very nice!

Great movie of course. The transfer to 4k is decent but A New Hope was the best transfer. Also has great behind the scenes.

The steelbook for this is very nice looking. It is great for the collector. The only downside to the steelbook is trying to get a pristine copy. These don't seem to be available in store and you never know what you are going to get when it is shipped to you. As for the movie, you only get 1 blu-ray disk. Nothing special for bonuses and whatnot.

The best of the best of all the Star Wars movies & it's never looked better . It's got everything- Love , Drama , Action & Adventure , Betrayal , Mythos , Revelations & of course ... Story & great dialog (Yoda & Vader) which cannot be matched in any other Star Wars film to date !

The second movie in the Star Wars galaxy is captivating in script and screen. Taking that it's been popular for quite a number of years. Watching it in Ultra HD sparks my attention as if I'm watching it for the first time. I highly recommend it.

I've recently become a sucker for movies in Steelbook. I've been avoiding buying the six original movies for a while but I ended up seeing these as a Deal of the Day. Couldn't ignore them any longer. While the packaging takes up a little more room on the bookshelf, I believe it's worth it. Oh yeah, and the movie is pretty great too. :-)

Although unfortunately the 4K video could be better, it’s amazing watching this iconic movie in 4K

Finally got the Empire Strikes back in 4K/HDR. On my LG 4K Blu-ray player and HD/HDR tv, this Blu-ray works great! Just as expected!

4 k version seems better than regular Blu-ray version. Im not an expert but I like the best quality. This is great for a 40 yr old movie.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, I grew up with the franchise and It has been an awesome ride. I already had the Blue Ray collection but decided that it couldn't hurt to add these steelbooks. I am super happy with the quality, they could have put like paper prints or collectibles inside but that is ok, not a deal breaker. Very happy with my purchase.

Solid 4k presentation of the classic film. HDR grading is good. Atmos soundtrack is excellent. This is an improvement over the blu ray.

This filn goes without saying is a magnificent chapter in the Star War Saga. However, my review this time is the amazing SteelBook package. The Embossed front cover, the art work. A must for every Star war fan. I already own the complete box set but I had to own all six of these new steelbook blu ray editions. I can't give it enough stars!!!!!

Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie from the Star Wars series. I bought this steel book Blu-ray copy deal of the day and a great savings. I have been wanting the star wars series on Blu-ray and the steel book series, sweet deal, made it better.. It's Star Wars, if you are a fan you will want to add this to your DVD collection.

It's the same movie as the blu-ray sets except the special steelbook case. Would have been nice if they came w/ the digital copies, but it's only a barebone blu-ray disc. If you could get this on sale, it's good to collect this one along w/ the Force Awakens steelbook. The back covers all have the poster art for each movie.

This has to be my favorite movie out of the original trilogy. Bought this as part of a collection of steelbooks. All look really nice next to each other on a shelf. Art on the front is beautiful and there is poster style art on the back. The inside art is of a location from the movie. May scratch easily if all are next to each other.

The best movie ever made, period. Star Wars is classic, you don't need me to tell you that. The packaging is compact, the art is nice. Great for the price. Pros- I like the packaging - Good definition -Cons -not the original film because it contains scenes remastered which i could have done without, but the movie is still great

The Original Star Wars Trilogy in 4K with HDR. The image is clean and crisp! Dolby Atmos is awesome. The only thing I was disappointed, it did not have Dolby Vision! That would have made a great difference!

I highly recommend any star wars fans to purchase the Steel Book series, as it is beautifully made and the case won't tear like those plastic or cardboard cases. The blue ray movie quality is superb as always, and the story line is terrific as always. I highly recommend this movie to any star wars fans and non-fans.

The movie in UHD/4K is an excellent presentation of the "Special Edition" version of the Empire Strikes Back, probably the best that this has ever looked on home video. And the sound mix is outstanding. You really couldn't ask for more when it comes to this version of the film. However, it should have included the theatrical version which many fans have been hoping for in a modern format for years.

This is by far my favorite movie from the Skywalker Saga, definitely recommend to a friend. Bought it in Blu-Ray & not in 4k because the color grading on the 4k was not my favorite & I very much prefer the color grading on the Blu-ray
