Luke skywalker finally finds out who his dad really is he has been wondering in searching and found and discovers that he’s Cross over to the Darkside. Another great series in Star Wars got to see it sci-fi buff

It's a bluray transfer of the film and played just fine on my 55" 4K LCD screen. Sound level is perfect, and the one commentary track I tried works well. Just comes with the one disc, no bells and whistles.

Great picture quality. The HDR is pretty nice and has a nice 4K Image.

I just love this movie. The best movie of all the Star Wars movie. No Star Wars movie will ever beat this one. Its got it all. Script, character development, action, plot. I can watch this over and over again. A must see.

It is technically even more proficient [than Star Wars], has virtually the same ingredients and bursts forth into a world that still seems ripe for its special blend of nostalgically simple story-telling and complicated technology.

Do we even need to review this? It's the best of the flicks... there's nothing fancy really going on here. It's a cool collector item. Just the BR and the steel case with a spiffy pic. A nice addition for anyone that collects...

The best Star Wars movie of all time, one of the best movies of all time, now in the true definitive 4k remaster. This is a must own, but you knew that already!

Seen this movie a million times. Bought for my nephew to keep adding to his collection. Looks great in HD. Empire is probably the best in the original trilogy.

I purchased this mainly for the digital code. I'll always love this movie, and it is my favorite of the Star Wars Trilogy! Brings back good childhood memories!

Empire Strikes Back was a phenomenal film and would probably consider it the best Star Wars film, so this is a great collector's item for any Star Wars fan. The rear and inside of the steelbook contains art work as well.

This is my favorite Star Wars movie. High quality picture and sound. I love that it comes with a digital copy for the road.

If you are looking at this short review, You are probably looking to upgrade your current copy. This should not disappoint if you have a large 4K projector, or TV.

Thanks to The Force Awakens movie a whole new generation of space adventure film fans can go back to where it all started and enjoy the Star Wars series from the beginning. This is a must have for your collection!

35 years & seven episodes later, "The Empire Strikes Back" is still the best. This re-re-release is now in a steelbook edition. No bonus features & HD digital copy.

A really great 4K transfer of a classic sci-fi movie.

Once again this movie is great. Was impressed that they used the stormtrooper for the cover. Movie itself is on point. The only thing I found dumb was no special features what so ever but the movie is the main thing.

I'm a Star Trek fan but this is the ONLY Star Wars film I liked. I give it 5 stars.

I've now purchased the "original" Star Wars trilogy on four video formats (VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, and Blu-Ray). Blu-Ray is the simplest to deal with and has the best picture and sound of any of the others (sorry, laserdisc fans). However, I was disappointed to discover that this was the so-called "Special Edition" version, not the original theatrical version cleaned up for Blu-Ray. I'm not a huge fan of the Special Editions, but if you are, you'll love this.

The 5th installment of the Star Wars saga , this is the 5th part and probably the best in the series of a 9 epic film story arc. An instant classic.
