Its very rare that a sequel to a great movie can live up to the first one. The Empire Strikes Back is right on par wth the original.

If you something that is not just a boring blue ray get this. Not only is it a great looking piece, but also a steel book so it doesn't feel cheap. Great way to show off your Star wars fandom!

Generally agreed to be the best of all the Star Wars films and it doesn’t disappoint. Blu-Ray quality is nice but I kind of miss the old pops and hisses tbh.

I watched the film and it was awesome. It has better graphics and sound on blu ray. And I also watched the deleted scenes on the bonus content, it was great.

Unlike the 4K remaster for Star Wars: A New Home, which looked stunning in every way, The Empire Strikes Back seems a bit washed out. Several sources have confirmed that the picture quality isn't as good as it should've been. Still it doesn't change that this is one of the best movies of all time!

Well-rounded characters, exotic new locations, and exciting action throughout gives Strikes Back a lot to stand on as far as Star Wars movies go. The steelbook blu ray was an essential addition to my collection.

The 5th installment of the Star Wars saga , this is the 5th part of a 9 epic film story arc. An instant classic. Probably the best of the series.

I bought this for my son who loves Star Wars and I instead he see the original first three and that those are the ones I grew up on...We love this movie and it has been a great add on to our collection.

Between digital 4k or blu ray 4k I’ll take blu ray much better quality and full scale 4k

Empire is sci-fi at it's finest! Irvin Kershner did such an amazing thing with this sequel! The pacing, story, and acting are all so superb!

The now classic, 1980 film that built on the "empire" of George Lucas, is now available in 4K UHD. As pristine as the day it was first shown!

A great installment in the series. Much darker then it’s predecessor. Everyone labels this as the best, but I still think the first (as in the 1977 Star Wars first) was better.

I'm very happy finding the whole trilogy on blu ray at Best Buy! I got rid of my very large DVD collection years ago, but held on to all my Star Wars VHS tapes. Even better now having them on Blu Ray

Empire remains one of my favorite Star Wars movies. Best Buy had a fantastic promotion on Star Wars Day (May 4th) and I acquired the entire set in these cool steelbook cases. You can't go wrong.

Great 4K picture and 4K HDR sound on a older Star Wars movie. Although you can see how the special effects of the 70s was not that great.

My second favorite Star Wars film after empire!! Great action and characters, improved effects all make this one a great finish for the original trilogy and it looks amazing big in bluray!!

Pretty good. A little clearer than other transfers.
