Of the three movies this seems to suffer the least amount in alterations. The alterations done are tolerable and Lucas got rid of Luke scream when falls after his hand being cut off (thank god). Empire is my favorite of the original trilogy and it looks and sounds amazing on bluray. If you're fine with it not being the theatrical cut it's worth purchasing.

This is a must have for all die-hard Star Wars fans! Besides owning the best movie of the 2 trilogies, in glorious Blu-ray high def, this is packaged in a collectible tin "steelbook" with awesome Stormtrooper art cover! I collected all 6, of course and they look great on my shelf! May the force be with you!

If you have not seen the STAR WARS MOVIES, THIS IS THE ONE TO SEE ! You must see it on a BIG SCREEN HD TV, ON BLUERAY, IN SURROUND SOUND, AT NIGHT FOR BEST EFFECT. YOU WON'T BE SORRY !! PLEASE DON'T MISS IT !!

This is definitely the best of the entire Star Wars saga! It is 2-disc, and it is the Full-Screen version. And, of course, it is better than the original! Even though I'd buy the whole saga in one pack, if that's not for you, buy this!

Watched originally at the movie theater. Then had a video tape. Eventually purchased on DVDs and finally purchased on Blu Ray and loved every fascinating detail.

The steelbook casing has nice artwork I love it!! And it's very protective also OF COURSE the movie is dope so ya gonna buy them all like this

I got this collectors edition while the force awakens arrived to the stores. Now I have a full saga in steelbook cases. Awesome!

You know you can't go wrong with a Star Wars movie and this won't disappoint. Great addition to my Star Wars collection.

The video and audio are great but there are no extras in this release

Like these first 6 movies, must get if you are a fan of star wars and the steel book makes the better.

My younger brother and I grew up watching this series with our Dad. We both own it on Blu Ray.

Absolutely the best of all the Star Wars Movies in good quality steelbook packaging.
