I'd been waiting for the best price on the Star Wars saga and I finally got it at Best Buy. Can't wait to dive in and rediscover this world!

StarWars is one of the greatest movie sagas of all time. It's a Timeless story and will never be "dated". Now on Blue-ray. This is a movie saga I will let my kids watch.

I love Star Wars and saw the original in 1977. I wanted to see the original(s). Episodes 4, 5 and 6 have been changed based on 1, 2 and 3 and to anticipate 7. Mostly, I think these are subtle. And I suppose adding in deleted scenes isn't the worst thing in the world. But I guess I'm more of a purist than I thought - and wishing I'd kept the VHS tapes!

The set was great since they remastered the movies. Watching them on a 4K TV with up scaling really showed the quality that they put into the remastering.

Star Wars is awesome but the clarity of the picture and details in the sound make the blue ray version worth it.

The six movie set is awesome. You can view all the movies at what speed you want. Go, stop and resume at your leisure. Over and over again.

Star Wars says that it took place a long time ago in a galaxy far away. As a historical drama, this left a lot to be desired. First off, if this happened a long time ago in a galaxy far away, how would we know it even happened? Our telescopes are not strong enough to see planets at the distances of galaxies and if the galaxies are far enough away, telescopes can't even see individual stars. This movie came out in the late 1970's so we didn't even have Hubble back then. I'm left to believe that most of this movie is made up. The movie is very derivative of Akira Kurosawa films, Flash Gordon serials and Joseph Campbell philosophy. George Lucas, do you even have an original idea in your head? I'm not sure, but I bet this set of films didn't even do all that well at the box office. If you want to see a really great movie from the same period with space ships and what not, check out Battle Beyond the Stars with the great George Peppard and Richard Thomas.

It was the perfect gift for my son. He loves Star Wars and getting all the movies at the time the last one was coming out was perfect.

Already own this on vhs, dvd, and now bluray. If you're a fan of the franchise! It's a must have...until 4k, 3d comes along...and then I will probably buy it again!

Great collection a must have a lot of people complain about that is not a special edition but besides that is a must have if you are a fan.

Watching these movies with my son. He has never seen these movies before, but he got his uncles old Star Wars toys for Christmas. So, it was time he watched them.

The picture and sound were very good right out of the box, but when the Geek Squad came and made all the adjustments everything became of excellent quality.

Great buy and fun to watch before going to see the new ones in theaters. Realized it had been over 12 years since I sat down and watched the original ones.

Purchased as a deal of the day for a great low price. All the movies 1-6 in a single flip storage box. Movies are of high quality blue ray.

The kids are getting old enough that I decided it was time for them to watch the whole series. They really love the movies, and I have had fun watching them again.

My son really loves Star Wars and I bought this as a holiday gift for him. This is a great package of the best of the movies in the series at an affordable price.

It is Star Wars on Blue Ray. The problem is that they charge 25 extra bucks more for buying the complete series with all the directors comments on it. This basically amounts to two additional discs in the box set to lets be honest with each other you may watch once unless you are a super die hard Star Wars fan who gets off to hearing Lucas talk every day. If this this box set was maybe 5 dollars more than buying the movies in the separate trilogy packs I would have given it 5 starts. 25 bucks more does not justify the price and hence it gets three. Do yourself a favor and buy the two trilogy packs separately to save yourself some money.
