For a film that resurrects an almost lost franchise from a bygone era i thought this was just about as good as it could be.. all circumstances included... Always great to see original cast members moving it along... And Rey... Wowie zowie..

Cool Packaging. I Like to grab these steel cases when I can. Excellent movie and a worthy heir to the Star Wars saga. There were only a few minor issues, nearly all of them typical JJ Abrams unnecessary and dumb, over-the-top, BS. But mostly he got things right. I guess destroying Star Trek was good practice for Star Wars

Yes, there are themes and storylines that are HIGHLY reminiscent of Episode IV - A New Hope. But I thought it was an excellent way to bridge generations and bring this fantastic universe back to life. There's nothing better than watching Star Wars with my three children and now they have their own trilogy to grow up with. :)

I've been a fan of the series from the beginning. I saw the original 4 times in the theaters, when it first came out. This latest installment is on the same level of quality and entertainment as the original 3 episodes. I waited a long time for the 3-d be released. This set will play across all my viewing platforms.

I didn't think anyone but George Lucas could direct a Star Was movie and do it justice but I was wrong. JJ Abrams has done an excellent job with this film and I would highly recommend you purchase this movie as soon as possible. I would suggest buying the Blu-Ray version to get the full effect of the film. Go buy it now!!!!!

I love this movie saw it 3 times in theater and glad I bought it. Many people criticize it for having similarities with a new hope but it's still an amazing movie probably my 2nd favorite in the franchise I recommend it to anyone, even people who are not into Star Wars I've gotten people into it after they watched this movie

Enjoyed the movie immensely. At the theater, the audience cheered when the roll started and again when Han Solo and Chewbacca made their entrance. The blu ray is loaded with extras. I especially enjoyed the part when the entire cast assembled for the read through and Mark Hamill was asked to read the entire script out loud.

Hadn't gotten around to watching this film until preorders for the blu ray came about. Decided to pick up the steel book and it definitely didn't disappoint. As for the film, it was done very well and gave the series a breath of fresh air. Infinitely better than the prequels. Looking forward to what Disney has in store next!

What an amazing return to the universe of Star Wars. Episode 7: The Force Awakens not only continues on with many of the characters that we have come to love, but introduces us to a whole new crew of characters. The action is great, the flying sequences are at times breath-taking, and this chapter is not overblown with CGI.

After the defeat of the Empire, the galaxy now faces a threat from the First Order. A First Order defector meets a scavenger whose droid contains a top-secret map. Together, they join forces with Han Solo's help. Will the Resistance receive the intelligence concerning the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi Knight?

This movie was not easy to get into, at first. Starting out, it was like watching deleted scenes from episode 1-2 or 3! Then I watched it again (in two sittings). Good movie. I think for the Die Hard Star Wars fan, it's a must have. I got it when it first hit the shelf. So for the price, getting a DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Copy...$$$ well spent. Heck I love it when I you can send the DVD copy,to my Nephew, and still have the Blu-Ray and a Digitalcopy. Make sure your up to speed with episodes 4-5-6-1-2-3. Not having seen those, one would not follow or appreciate it as much.

Sure this movie is pretty much a remake of the original Star Wars as far as the basic story is concerned. But to me this seems like the perfect way to get the Star Wars series back on track. I really enjoyed Rey and Kylo Ren as the main good/bad characters. BB-8 was also a really fun character. I wasn't overly impressed with Finn and Poe but hopefully their storylines will get better as the series progresses. The Steelbook packaging looks great, the Blu-ray movie looks spectacular and the bonus features, especially the 70 minute behind the scenes documentary, are worth watching.

If you liked / loved the original trilogy and was disappointed by the prequel trilogy, then this movie will get you back to the feels you had with the original movies. It has the classic feel throughout the whole movie and makes you want more of it, also makes you mad that you have to wait for the next movie/s to come out.

we all know the movie is great so I will comment mainly on the extras and the steel book. Steel Book quality is great love the image of Kylo Ren on the front along with the Millennium falcon scene on the inside. the extras are great extra scenes and all commentary is excellent. Recommended for any Star Wars Fan

It's been years since I watched Episodes 4-6. I actually enjoyed the prequels. I thought this story was a great way to revive the story. I know a lot of people were upset about the casting, but the movie was so good it kind of overshadowed the gender and race of the characters. The story was so much more than that.

I already appreciate and enjoy the previous 6 films of the Star Wars collection. The Force Awakens produced amazing graphics and a pretty good story line. I'm sure if you like Star Wars, you'll love this movie. And if you're like me, it's gonna leave you wanting more. C'mon December 16th!! (Rogue One theater release date)

This is a great continuation of the Star Wars saga. It sets the stage for the next series of movies filled with adventure and characters that will be sure to win the hearts of younglings and create a great bonding experience between parents who were fans of Star Wars who now can experience the new movies with their kids!!

You probably already know how you feel about the film itself but Disney has released a pretty solid blu-ray. The audio and picture are great and there is a decent amount of supplemental material. Disney's discs are usually lacking in this area in my opinion, the documentary is pretty good and is actually over an hour long!

I picked this up on a daily deal. I had not purchased a steel book version before this. The case has the same great artwork you would expect from other versions, but with a very nice glossy finish to the sturdy steel. I would not hesitate to pick up another steel book version of a movie when at the right price.
