Great Star Wars movie. I love watching the Star Wars movies in 4K.

After the 3 tepid Star Wars prequels it seemed like Star Wars could be wished a fond farewell. The new movie however breathes life into the old series by returning to more entertaining (no Jar Jar) characters and the actual stars of the original trilogy. The formula is familiar to anyone who saw the first 3, and it is worth seeing. The extra features are entertaining, though too short for my taste, but you can't always get what you want as the Rolling Stones sing in my favorite song of theirs.

I saw this film in theaters and it is just as good on Blu-ray. Extras on the disk was a little bare as it seems like Disney might of held back in order to do a re-release later with more content. But that is not to say that the extras are bad because the behind the scenes content was great. They dove in so well with the production that is was like it was its own documentary of the whole making of the film. Most films only give you a bit of highlights of how they did things. Highly recommend this film.

Amazing addition to the Star Wars universe. Great story line with fun action scenes.

I picked up the movie and gave it to my husband for his 72 birthday. He loved it and watched it 3 times in a row. We are happy with being able to order on line and then pick it up at the store on the release date, without having to wait for shipping and transit time all without any shipping charges. We have purchased well over 175 movies from Best Buy and I have to say that our experience has been positive every time. So all in all this purchase made my husbands' Birthday a very special day indeed.

This best buy exclusive Star Wars The Force Awakens Steel book includes the bluray, dvd, and digital copy. This is one beautiful case! Yes everybody from Walmart to Target and everyone inbetween had their exclusive editions for the same movie, but there was only one steel book and it is a must have. Beautiful design and artwork wrap a new star wars for this generation and all those who have seen the movies along the way. If you can still find this in stores, buy this and you won't be disappointed.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, looks amazing on 4K! Must have for any Star Wars fan!

Loved this movie, a fitting sequel and continuation to the Star Wars movies. This definitely had the feel of the first 3 movies and it brought that feeling back. While I had a few things I didn't like, I loved the movie overall and this blu ray/dvd/digital download is great. It is reminiscent of the original star wars and it's great seeing the original characters! Love the extras and the picture and sound are incredible! The effects in the movie are great and look great on this set! Buy it now!

It might be Deja Vu all over again, but I liked the relaunch of the series. I went to see the first Star War movie just on the basis of the title alone-It had just the right tongue-in-cheek flavor to grab my attention. It ended up being one of the few movies I have ever been at where most of the audience stayed around for the closing credits and then clapped their applause for what they had seen. The new Star Wars captures much of that seem feel and augers well for the future of the franchise.

This movie definitely lived up to the hype. This is Episode 7, and you'll notice a lot of similarities to the original Star Wars (which would actually be Episode 4 technically). The quality and sound are great. I wish the 3D would've been included on here, but for $10, I can't complain. The steenbok I got was busted though to the point where if you opened it all the way, it would snap in half. It was an easy exchange at BestBuy and look forward to watching this over and over again.

After the unevenness of the prequels (and that's being kind), this is a strong reboot effort from J.J. Abrams and Co. The plot feels familiar at times, but quality performances from newcomers Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaacs, plus (of course) Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher reprising their roles really lift the film. The sound and picture quality are just that, quality -- and the special features are good as well, highlighted by the making-of feature. I'd definitely recommend it.

I saw this movie on the big screen, Imax 3-D, the works, and really enjoyed it then. And then I bought the DVD when it came out, but didn't watch it right away because it seemed like I had just seen it. But when I finally did watch it recently it was like I was watching a whole new move. I saw, heard and understood things that I hadn't the first time around and so I enjoyed it even more. It's a truly great film and I can't wait for the sequels! Bravo J. J. Abrams! Star Wars is in good hands!

JJ Abrams gets to play with all of the best toys. He is one of the few people that has been able to continue or reboot some of the best franchises. This is a new story with very familiar themes. Desert planet? Check. Orphaned adolescent? Check. Bad guy in a black mask? Check. They give us familiar characters if only to pass the torch to a new generation. I'm not sure how much this movie can be judged without seeing the next episode and how these new characters continue the saga.

So Star Wars is back!!!! Everyone who remembers the original trilogy will love this. Strong lead characters and an amazingly attractive lead in Rey!!! She will make a new generation attracted to a female lead from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away!!! Plus no family members out (looking at you Luke and Leia)!!! We also get to see the love child of Han and Leia in the nefarious Kylo Ren. But that's beside the point because Rey is so freaking hot that she is gonna make the force awaken

Excellent movie, very entertaining, great price too!

This is a great movie to revive the Stat Wars franchise. It introduces great characters while involving the old ones. A great mesh of both. The story continues and doesn't let up. Leaving you with more questions but somehow still satisfied. The Steelbook is a bit pricey but worth the collectible. It's a great addition to any movie collection. The case looks great amount my many Blurays that I have collected over the years. I definitely recommend this edition of Star Wars The Force Awakens.

Fan service does amazing things in movies. Massive conglomerate movie production studios don't seem to understand what people want to see and change things bringing ruin to franchises and attempts to make new franchises. This, however, was done superbly. I was scared that J.J. Abrams was at the helm with his love of upside-down camera angles and lens flares. Yet, this one has become a great love of mine. I will continue to enjoy this movie and hope to one day watch them with my own kids.

This movie hits every conceivable emotion, but above all, it's fun. Nowadays, we have so much dark gritty stuff which is great and deep, but it gets tiring. And, things that try to be fun come off as overly silly and dumbed down. The Force Awakens does something not many films have done successfully in a while; combine the two seamlessly into one balanced package. The prequels tried to do this, and it blew up in Lucas' face. The reason it works in this movie is that all the humour and drama comes naturally from the characters. Yes, the plot and beats are VERY similar to A New Hope, but that was a great movie. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Besides, that's exactly what's been missing from movies lately. So don't listen to all these negative reviewers saying "it's a remake", or a "rip-off". Towards the end, it goes completely its own way becoming more like The Empire Strikes Back.
