Really enjoyed my purchase. It came with 2 Blu-ray DVD, one for the featured movie, which looks amazing in this format, and one for the special features , which was great to see behind the scenes footage. And then you have that extra regular DVD for whenever you might need that. But what I really appreciated was the digital HD copy it came with. It was easily accessible and now I'll be able to enjoy the movie whenever I want on my phone. One gets so much for a great price. Worth the buy.

Keep in mind I am only a semi-syfy fan. With episodes IV, V and VI they were great movies. I enjoyed each won of them, the suspense was thrilling. Episodes I, II and III unfortunately were a real disappointment to me. I apologize to the fans who liked the later three, again I am only a semi-scfy enthusiast. Yet, with that mind, episode VII was good, it had some similarities to the first trilogy but I am saying like the title says THE FORCE AWAKENED. For me the film was EXCELLENT.

So what can I say about THE FORCE AWAKENS that I haven't already said? I love the new cast and the way their incredibly-memorable and lovable characters mix in with returning old favorites. I love how J.J. made STAR WARS fun again. I love how this film continues the story of our beloved heroes but adds elements of tragedy in the dependable STAR WARS space-opera style. And this new BluRay gives you a fantastic commentary from the director himself. Go get it if you're a fan!

Saw this in 3D then the next day walked into Best Buy and saw this sitting by the doors. Gave into my nerd/fan and picked it up right away. Such a great movie and with it being digital I can't wear the disk down from over watching. I was going to wait for disk set but I'll probably end up with it as well. Ether this or the disk is a must for anyone who loves Star Wars, even if this was your first one its a great star for the beginnings of a collection... but please get and watch the others :D

Everyone knows what this movie is, and yes you should by it unless you're a pretentious hipster then put down your moch-choca-endangered-rainforest-garbage coffe and go back to your book. The big question is, do you buy the metal book or the normal blu-ray case and the answer is you always go with the full metal case. It looks cooler and makes you one step above your friends that got the non-metal case from some other box store (losers). METAL CASE ----- YYUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Movie looks awesome in 4k!a good addition to the Star Wars collection

My first viewing of the movie gave me an impression this movie was the same story re-told again with better digital technology while aiming to attract new generation of younger audience. But after each re-watch of the movie, I would change my opinion again with much deeper understanding of what the story was trying to accomplish. I began to appreciate how well each actors had acted, and start looking forward for the next movie release to continue the adventure.

First of all, had to return the first one I bought because it had a big ding on the front that you wouldn't have seen because it was under a paper cover. Getting a steelbook is a bit of a gamble that way. I exchanged it for one that was, luckily, in great condition. Other than that, it's a great movie to watch on a big screen. Great quality transfer and good special features on the disc. With the digital copy and cool steelbook case, this movie was worth what I paid.

At first when I heard Disney had purchased Lucasfilm I was hesitant about future star wars films. But then I remembered the excellent Marvel films. And this one knocks it out of the park. While I agree with the majority of people who say this is a "remake" of episode 4, it also introduces the new characters in the star wars universe to an excellent degree. Action packed, emotional and funny. It's a perfect family film and a great introduction to star wars for children. A must see!

I am a Star Wars fan, have been since I was a little kid. I was so excited about seeing this movie when it came out in theaters. I saw it 4 times in theaters. It brings back the nostalgia of the original trilogy with beloved characters and introduces you to a whole new set to love. I love Rey, she's strong, brave, good, can still be vulnerable and scared. As for the bonus features, I loved the making of features, showing the sets, props, costumes, characters, music, and droids!

Graphics in this movie are awesome. The storyline is good.

I'm more of a Trekkie than a Jedi. This was the first Star Wars movie I sat through completely. I was really young when the others came out and my love of Sci-Fi hadn't really developed. But I watched this one and thought it was amazing. A friend asked me to see it in the movies and I was so entertained that I bought it and forced my mom to sit through it. She hates anything not Transformers or Fast and the Furious related. But she loved this one!!!! Definitely should pick it up.

Amazing sound and pictures! Great characters and storyline! Perfect

In my opinion, this movie was done very well and was quite entertaining and that is what really matters. There are always little details I may not like or think should have gone differently. In the end, it drew my interest and it successfully diverted my attention enough to take my mind off of the things that stress me out. The picture and sound are super clear, but I so wish that they would go ahead and start releasing the 4K Blu ray versions of all the SW movies.

Love Star Wars and the best picture ever with 4K Must have

I bought this feature in a combo pack. I'm not a die hard "Star Wars" fan. I know sum, but I'm really a Trekky. Lol., Anyway J. J. Abrahm did both franchises. The movie was fine, there was enough action to keep me satisfied. The Special effects were very good. Good story even if u r not an Uber Fan. I recommend the movie on a large screen. It would be a waste to watch it on a cell phone. Lol I gave the DVD to my brother the fan of the franchise and I kept the Blu Ray.

Many season veterans of the Star Wars saga have bashed this movie as being too similar to Star Wars: A New Hope. While the similiarities are there, it's also a great new movie in the franchise. It has a mainly new cast of characters, with a nice update as to what has happened to many of the old. This movie has its share of twists, if you haven't been spoiled yet, and is a fresh addition to the Star Wars universe that not only ties up the old, but brings in the new.
