A lot has been said about this movie that I won't rehash here.. you probably already know if you want to own it or not. This steelbook is great on many levels, but a couple of issues keep it from being a 5-star item imo - 1) It doesn't mirror the previously released steelbooks by using the theatrical poster art on the back. IMO that was one of the best things about those steelbooks 2) instead of the theatrical poster or a "good" character on the back, we get Captain Phasma, who is a 3rd tier character at best. She is useless and pointless in the film, having zero impact on the story whatsoever. She looks cool (her silver armor being a proposed but rejected concept for Kylo Ren) but that's it. She absolutely doesn't deserve to be featured in the artwork. It'd be like putting Lobot on the back cover of The Empire Strikes Back.. it makes no sense.

There are few cinematic powerhouses that have stood the test of time and this is one of them. What can you possibly say about one of the most successful if not THE most successful sci-fi drama film series ever to be shown on the big screen? This latest episode . . . of course it's good and with J.J. Abrams at the helm, even more so. What makes this one better than Episodes I II & III is that we get to see the original cast from Episodes IV V & VI. It's good to reminisce.

Nice 4 k hd quality just might buy the whole set to have the collection

Regarding the movie itself, I imagine most people are familiar with it by now; you can head elsewhere if you want a review of that. Regarding the Blu Ray Steelbook, the case is nice, as most of these Steelbooks tend to be. Given this has Kylo Ren & Phasma on it, I do wish an alternate version with Rey and Finn had been available (similar to how Best Buy offered Ultron & Vision separately for the Age of Ultron Steelbook). Generally speaking, the extras offered on the Blu Ray are ok but I felt there could've been much more. The "making of" documentary feels disappointing and incomplete (no mention of Harrison Ford's broken leg, or the hunt for a director before JJ took the job). If you want to watch TFA now, with some decent extras and a spiffy case, get this version. If you're looking for a definitive home release for it, you may want to wait.

Great Movie, The saga continues. love these movies in 4k

I cannot understate how awesome this movie is. I'm a life-long Star Wars geek. I grew up with the original trilogy, and even enjoyed the prequels. So I was cautiously optimistic about the seventh installation. JJ Abrams was able to turn his magic to another franchise and was able to breath new life into it. Cast was awesome, action was great, and surprises were gut-wrenching. Everything I wanted this movie to be and more. I'm going to go watch it for the ninth time......

Not a bad movie, but doesn't compare to the original Trilogy. OK plot however there's no better villain than Darth Vader! The 4K is amazing. Shopping online with Best Buy was fast and easy.

FA is a great new chapter in the star wars saga. Daisy Ridley is amazing!!

This film is amazing in 4k and with Dolby Atmos. Plus, it's a good film.

i do not buy many movies on hard media nowadays, but the new Star Wars has a special sentimental value for every generation of our family, so I purchased the DVD/bluray/download package. Everything you might need is in there and it served the purpose in a great way! One of my kids watched the DVD on a long trip, while another one preferred the digital download instead. We also used the blu-ray on the big tv. At the end of the day, we were all happy with the purchase.

Glad to see the continuation of the blockbuster series.

For me this is as entertaining movie and very well made.

I'm a baby boomer who watched all the Star Wars classics on the big screen. THE FORCE AWAKENS maintains all the Lucas magic. You will not be disappointed with this film. However, you might get a little teary-eyed when you see how much Hans Solo and Princess Leah have aged, and then look at yourself in the mirror.

While Episode VII isn't the best in the series, it was definitely a return to form for the series after the "Prequel" trilogy being as dismal as it was throughout (though there were a few bright spots in II and III - mostly when Natalie Portman or Hayden Christiansen weren't around). The Steelbook adds something to the experience as well, since you get a case with custom graphics, no "about this movie" text, and inner art that is just great to look at.

Not a big Star Wars guy but this movie was pretty good.

Extension of the Star Wars saga. Pleased with this DVD.

I've been a fan of star wars since late 80's I had the toys, painting statues ,toy chest even the Darth Vader phone which I wish I kept till now it's worth much money. Great movie after 30 years which is why I wanted to see how it will turn out after 30 years with the special effects now I can keep enjoying star wars coming Dec. 2017 and the last star wars Dec. 2019 ,sad to see no princess in the very last but who know they may image her in like fast fury.

A wonderful addition to the series. Had to get it in 4k!

When I learned that Star Wars: The Force Awakens would eventually be released on 3D Blu-ray later this year, I could hardly wait for it, as I had seen the movie that way in the theater. The wait was worth it, as the 3D version does not disappoint on any level. Great effects, good sound, and a fairly compelling story line make for an overall top-notch experience in home entertainment. If you have a 3D-capable TV and Blu-ray player, it's worth investing in.

Great storyline, with plenty of a ton. The special effects were awesome!°
