A great continuation of the star wars series. If you were a fan of the other 6 there is no need to read a review, just pick it up.

My younger son and husband loved it . They where both dying to see the star wars movie when it came out so they watch it together.

Thought the acting was poor. The lead character was immature and did not give justice to the old Star Wars movies. Rent don't buy.

I have watched the movie multiple times. Each time I learn something I missed before. I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Specifically wanted the steel book version to go with the rest of my collection. Glad to get the DVD and digital versions as well.

Star Wars is back and looks and sounds great! Although it feels very close to Ep. IV, it is still a very entertaining movie.

I wasn't as blown away with Force Awakens as most. Basically they just the original Star Wars. The good still out weighs the bad.

I am a huge fan of the first trilogy, especially the first film. The prequels - well, the less said about them, the better. I really wanted to love The Force Awakens but found it only so-so - totally derivative of the very first film, and the new characters are blandness personified. Maybe the hype raised my expectations too high, or maybe this movie is just remarkably average - I don't know. But I expected more.

This movie is a continuation to one of the greatest stories ever told. It is episode 7 and it picks up years after episode 6 (Return of the Jedi). It has that classic Star Wars feel that many felt that the prequels simply did not have. This is an okay movie, but it does have a few flaws in it, but what movie doesn't. Simply put, this is a Star Wars movie for the new generation and I am looking forward to episode 8.

The story does not break any new ground - but it's still great entertainment Great 3D presentation - but this is Disney!

Loved the movie, but was a little disappointed that there was no 3D Blue Ray version available. That is really my only complaint.

Wonderful addition to the well-loved series. Star Wars copyright bought by Disney Studios, looking forward to their presentation.

Pretty good movie, and a worthwhile continuation of the series. Not as spectacular as it was hyped, but better than the prequels.

Not close to as good as the originals, but not nearly as bad as the prequels. Sets a positive expectation for the movies to come.

This movie is not very imaginative. If you pay attention, its just a rehash of episode 4. At least the special effects were good.

I'll admit that I have not watched the BluRay yet. But got the digital copy to my iPad to watch it. There were no issues with it.

Could've had better actors mainly referring to kill ren he didn't play a good sith at all he played a spoiled brat in my opinion.

I was glad to see that the new movie was more like the original trilogy and less like the prequels were. Absolutely worth seeing.

Glad the steelbook version finally came out to go along with my collection. Wish the 3D version was an option for steelbook.

This is a good entry to the new star wars movibut it seems to have lost some of it's grit from the other trilogies
