A good movie to add to the franchise! Give a shot!

Good movie. I can't wait for Episode 9 in 2 years.

I still don't like the direction they are taking Luke and the whole story for that matter but overall the movie had some great and not so great (*cough* Rose) moments. Hopefully we at least get some new content out of this.

This movie has some surprising twist in the plot .

This movie is awesome and has great sound effects.

I enjoyed the previous movie (The Force Awakens ). The direction the director/script writer took with this film left alot to be desired. Yes it was entertaining , I just feel they went a the wrong direction with some characters (mainly Luke Skywalker ).

This is my least liked installment in the Skywalker saga. It is a movie of missed opportunities in my opinion. It has moments that are good but overall not my favorite. It is needed to complete the collection.

Well....not what I was expecting....but I will give the third movie a chance.....not bad but not Star Wars that I grew up with....Disney is obviously looking to take the franchise in a different direction. Solid 2.5-3 out of 5. Not bad but not great.

The movie's a major disappointment in the Skywalker legacy, particularly for those like me me who have followed it for the past 40 years. The 3 stars are for the beautiful Dolby Vision and sound. I can only recommend this to show off one's display.

I won't belabor the myriad issues with this movie. The internet is full of those. I will say the 4K UHD Blu-ray is top notch quality and truly beautiful. The quality of this product is unquestionable. Let's hope for improvement with Episode IX.

Maybe I have too high expectations of the series but I’m left indifferent. Seems like Disney is trying too hard to incorporate cute fuzzy animals and it seems as if I’ve seen this movie already. Special effects are superb but the story is lacking

The special effects and settings were excellent. What they did with the characters was poor. Neither Rey nor Luke were recognizable and it seemed like they had the ending set and worked backwards to make it happen. Major disappointment.

I love the movie. The story is great...if it were on is own. Since its suppose to fit in the the rest of the movies i don't like what Disney did. I hate what they did to luke. That made him a no buddy' that dies over exerting himself???

This movie is okay. I am a big fan of the franchise, but some parts of the story made me think “really, this is the best they could come up with?” However, I did enjoy seeing Yoda one more time. Overall, it was good just do not expect too much.

While my kids loved it, and there were many elements that I liked too, I also agree with some of my friends who were seriously disappointed. The biggest complaint is the timeline of the story. Hopefully the next one will be a better balance.

i collect steelbooks for big films. of course, im a huge star wars fan, so i had to get this one even though i really thought the movie was garbage. as far as the steelbook is concerned, it's beautiful. made nicely. colors pop. feels great.

The film looks and sounds awesome if you have the set up for it. The film itself is good but its too long and very odd how it comes together. I understand why Mark Hamil had issues with the director over Luke Skywalkers portrayal.

This was one of my least favorite entries in the Star Wars sage. Watched it again at home to see if I had misjudged it, but alas, it really was as bad as I remembered.

I liked this movie Ok. However, Luke was abused in the beginning and that's hard to forgive. Whoever wrote this needs to learn how to treat a franchise hero.
