First off, please don't review the movie, although most people will. I wish people would focus on the product. This is a 4k bluray with digital copy and steel book. I think this is a pretty cheap product for the fans. The movie was good, but sure we wanted more story and force type of stuff.

The Last Jedi is the best Star Wars film since the original trilogy. It has plenty of spectacular battle scenes, unexpected surprises, great humor, and even emotional resonance (not to mention those cute Porgs!). However, the movie suffers from a 150-minute runtime, unnecessary subplots and characters, and it also raises quite a few significant questions about characters' motivations in specific situations. Also, sometimes the movie tries a little too hard to surprise us, the humor falls flat, and key characters are sadly underused. And I could go on forever about the obvious feminist influence here, that actually weakens the story and characters (but I won't). All things considered, though, almost every Star Wars film has been flawed as well, and this one is obviously no exception. Still, the Force is (mostly) strong with this one!

While a couple moments I could have done without, Overall its a fantastic package and the movie is far better and daring than the Force Awakens. You need to watch it yourself and not listen to those for or against. It also helps to watch ROTJ again right before to better understand.

While the story and concepts push many fans out of their comfort zone, the result is a more-humanizing and challenging character study of one of Star Wars most cherished heroes. Definately breaks away from convention, but in a way that forces both the characters and audience to grow.

This movie from start to finish was just a masterpiece. This movie really gives a full circle storyline throughout the scenes of the movie. Great action, and great suspense. Let the saga continue, and may the force be with you all! "This is the film you are looking for..."

I thought it was a great Star Wars movie and a great movie overall. It did a great job of revisiting the past while upending our expectations. It's been a while since I've been surprised by a Star Wars movie in a good way. Can't wait to see how this trilogy concludes.

Believe the real fans, not the paid off critics and Disney employees on damage control. Too many plot holes to list but just a few quick ones: Finn drags Rose a mile a never gets shot? Finn/Rose are surrounded, everyone else dies except them and then Phasma walks out when she was there the whole time? DJ is just sitting in jail when he can leave anytime? Finn and Rose can't park in a normal place? (they are experienced but that dumb?) Why doesn't the Resistance just make small ships to hyperspace into big ones all the time? The day before Kylo is worshiping Vader, but the next day he hates the past? A day ago Maz' castle is destroyed but now shes off fighting a random battle? The actual "plot" is dumb, First Order would just destroy them. The new force powers ruin all the other movies. It's like it's the Millennial movie where everyone can do everything with no training. If Yoda can effect the physical world that changes everything. Slapstick humor. All good tense parts are ruined by a stupid joke. Men are idiots, women are genius. Meat is bad. War is bad. (this is star WARS Disney...) This is a movie for 5 year olds but it's rated PG-13. If you actually like Star Wars you will not like this film. It's just another typical Marvel superhero movie at this point. I have little interest in Episode 9 now which is sad. I really liked Episode 7 and Rogue One but at this point the only hope for Star Wars is if all of 8 was just Rey's or Finn's dream.

Don't listen to the haters. This film will go down as one of the best in SW history! Thank you Disney, Rian Johnson, Daisy, Mark, Carrie, John, Adam, Chewbacca, and all the rest! What a blessing to have TLJ in blu ray, 4k, and digital format!

I really don't care what people think about this movie. I really enjoyed it! Sure, there were few parts that were not that great but overall it was very entertaining and fun! Ill def watch it again! I liked it better than The Force Awakens..

Star Wars: The Last Jedi [Includes Digital Copy] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] [2017] Star rating 3. Average I've seen the movie in the theatres. Not a fan of it. I wish there was a better arc from the Force Awakens. I accidently order it on my phone with the best buy app. I don't know how that happened. It might have been from the app suggesting and selecting it. Returned it with no problems.

My friend and I were young enough to have seen the first Star Wars movie. This movie was great! You just have to tie it into the others . It's Best Buy i hate ! if you have any problems they ignore you! any complaints they Ignore you !

This review is to report that there seems to be a bad batch of the Star Wars The Last Jedi 4k disc being sold in the Portland, OR area. The first 4k disc I bought at the Tualatin store stopped playing at chapter 26. After inspecting the disc it was dirty/smugged in several places and had a small line/crack on the playing surface. I took it back to a different store in Cedar Hills. Store policy says they have to open replacement movies (for fraud purposes), and that replacement 4k disc was also smudged/dirty with even more lines/cracks. The store staff was at this point very confused an unsure what to do. We opened a 3rd 4k disc and while it was a bit smudged it didn't have any real lines/cracks but the outer edge didn't look quite right either. I ended up taking the 3rd disc home and let it play through a couple of times. I own over a dozen 4k disc, hundreds of blurays and dvd's and none have ever come out of the packaging dirty and cracked. There is some sort of serious quality control issue at the disc printing/packaging company. As far as the movie itself goes, I was less impressed with the Dolby Vision on this on my LG OLED TV than I have been with other movies such as Transformers The Last Night. There was too much movie grain for my liking and it was hard to really feel or see the difference in the graphics. I will watch the bluray companion disc that will be upscaled by player to see if I can tell the difference. Typically it is a very big difference. Fate of the Furious was noticeably better on 4k than bluray. I saw this movie in the theaters but from a story stand point I really didn't need or want to watch it again. It wasn't fun. The attempts at humor in this movie were not appropriate for a star wars franchise. I don't need a 'your momma' joke in star wars...thanks.

Whenever I watch a movie I try not to analyze or overthink anything and suspend all disbelief as i watch so that i can get the most enjoyment out of it. When i left the theater I left feeling ok/good about the movie. My immediate reaction was I think i was glad that it wasn't a copy of the old movies or play it as safe as they did with episode 7 and that they took some chances but I didn't really like half the decisions and chances they decided to go with. Then as I thought more about it and talked about the movie with other people I kept liking it less and less. Finally watched it a second time and yea it was rough to watch. even the poor dialogue/acting from the prequels was better than this

This movie is great, at last Disney got it, this is after the original trilogy so they can use new stuff, and they did it. Fake fans wanted to predict the movie but they fail now they are Sith Lords. Better than episode 7.

You people that didn’t like this movie must be very hard to please. It was different than other Star Wars movies, but I still loved it! Top 3 coolest fight scene in any Star Wars movie ever in The Last Jedi!!!!

as with all the star wars movies the special effects are awsome we rewatch this movie on a regular basis.

Yep, great movie. Because, to me, Star Wars is like nothing else. There's no plot, holes, or bad performances. I'm watching a story unfold with rapt attention. I BELIEVE in Star Wars. LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

There's so much wrong with this movie. Rian Johnson who declares himself as a major star wars fan sure had a funny way of showing how he loves this franchise. His handling of a lot of issues was just disappointing. I could spend the rest of the day creating term paper on why The Last Jedi failed us all, but alas, my major disappointment is this: Luke Skywalker turning on his lightsaber about to strike down Ben Solo, but then remembering this is wrong, shame...I knew I'd get a moment where they'd tarnish Luke and his character. I was not disappointed. I don't believe for one second that the dude who never gave up on Vader becoming good again would lose his cool, at this point in his life, long into being a Jedi master and deciding, even for a moment, I'm going to kill my apprentice. To me, it's a betrayal of who Luke is. Everything else about how Luke was portrayed was perfectly fine. Even Yoda banished himself after being unable to defeat Darth Sidious, so Luke going away after losing everything...no issues. If you love this movie, I'm happy for you, I wish I was in that boat, but I'm not. I hated this movie and quite frankly I'm unenthused about the main storyline going forward. I couldn't care less about what happens to any of these characters.

The effects in this movie are no disappointment. The story continues in a way that can't be predicted. Almost all my guesses were wrong. Another wonderful addition for my Star Wars collection.

Summary says it all. The force awakens was disappointing and was eager to see the direction this would have gone, I assumed they would’ve done damage control but they buried it further into the ground. This movie takes material from the 7 movies that were out, and threw them in the garbage. This is not Star Wars. Not worth adding to collection. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
