was painful watch - rip Leia --- but first order ramps up its efforts

There are some visually striking moments in this movie and it looks good on 4k, but... oh my word I really dislike this movie. It's just... it's just awful. One of the three plot points has the audience watch someone, slowly, run out of gas. Seriously. They're just running out of gas. Then add the gross mishandling of Luke Skywalker mixed with the utter nonsense side-plot of Finn and Rose and you have a movie that's just awful. I can't believe they did this to these characters. But hey... pretty 4k!

Clearly a feminist movie that Turns Luke Skywalker into a scared sniveling little man. Who gets beat by Rey in hand to hand combat with little ease. Horrible plot and several major contradictions. Rey is Jedi with little or no training, unlike Luke training by Yoda. Stupid movie wont see number 9.

They managed to take everything that made Star Wars great and completely destroyed it! I have NO interest in any of these characters and I can't care any less what happens next or who does what. Way to ruin the biggest franchise in movie history. I am never going back!

This film follows it's own SJW agenda. Watching this film is like watching a film based on the popular doll "Barbie"(Luke Skywalker) and finding out that they are replacing her with Ken(Rey) to take over the franchise and bury it! Barbie fans would be up in arms, and their toyline would suddenly be dominated by Ken dolls being sold in the girl's aisle at toy stores. Who would love that?

Arguably one of the worst films in the saga thus far and has left fans very divided with their opinions on the movie. Anyways, the steelbook is cool and it’s also on Netflix. Save yourself $35 plus tax and watch it for free first.

This is the worst Star Wars Movie EVER MADE. They have injected Bad humor through the entire movie. Not to mention ripping off stuff from the Return of the Jedi movie. It's sad to say but I think the Mouse "Disney" has finished off Star Wars. So sad....

My, oh my, what have they done to our beloved Star Wars? The Last Jedi was a complete and utter slap in the face to Luke and Leia. Luke has been turned into a coward. All the other characters were shallow and performed meaningless tasks throughout the movie. Any emotional buildup was suddenly crushed by badly written comedy. No story, no spoiler to speak of. It just was. This was an obvious jab to disrespect what JJ Abrams set up in The Force Awakens and to the entire franchise. My recommendation is not to spend your money that gives the suits license to destroy everything good about Star Wars.

Even though this film is just plain bad for older Star Wars fans, it does look beautiful. Purchase the 4K version for what should be unbelievable PQ and AQ. That is if you have the right set up. Otherwise stick with the Bluray.

The movie that ended Star Wars. Not only was it bad, it actually had you considering walking out of the theatre mid-movie. If you must see it rent it. You'll never watch this disaster twice.

This was a farce, floating through space, using canons to kill Jedi, no light saber duels. cirque du soleil Sith battle. PLEASE FIRE THIS DIRECTOR.

This is the worst movie of 2018 they ruined all characters and have way to many plot holes and doomed star wars for all future films horrible and do not buy.i had to pick a star but really doesn't deserve that

Idk why I bought this. I guess I still had hope for ep. 9 at the time, but ep 9 is even worse than this one and this one was terrible. I guess the 4K quality of this disc is good and this disc actually has Dolby Vision which is a rarity for Disney as they don't care about physical media.

The worst Star Wars movie ever. It tried to destroy what was established in the original trilogy. I don't even know if this movie can be called Star Wars. At least the Steelbook edition has a beautiful cover art and a good 4K transfer.

I was so disappointed by the 4k blu ray. Its a complete rip off considering Disney and the Star Wars franchise make so much money. I wish I could get my money back because it looks more like a standard dvd. The film itself is boring but has its entertaining parts.

Keep your money. This movie is not worth $1, let alone the current sales price (whatever that is). I loved The Force Awakens and Rogue One, but this movie is complete garbage. So bad that it may end up being the last Star Wars film that I ever see in the theater.

Beautiful cinema-photography, but extremely poorly written. Huge plot holes, poor character development and a complete disregard for any continuity with the series.
