We are Star War Fans and really enjoyed this movie

**SPOILER WARNING** The 1st time I saw this, I was not a happy camper. I didn't like that Luke's storyline was pretty much finished. Also, there was a lot going on without any sort of cohesive direction. After the disaster that was Rise of Skywalker, I revisited this film and actually appreciated it more. First of all, at least there was an effort to move the story along and taking risks to do some things differently. I liked that the force was reawakening in a new generation of potential jedis. This movie suffered from too many elements that should have been edited & not enough character development. At least it's not a cliche unlike its predecessor & successor.

I am really enjoying all the new Star Wars movies.

Still love viewing this movie, especially the end!

Not the best of the saga, but definitely not the worst.

I know this movie got alot of controversy, but I still liked it. My biggest flaw for me was they spent too much time with Finn & Rose, instead of with Rey & Luke. I would've loved to see Luke train Rey. More lightsaber training. I wish they would've let Finn die, because it would've been an epic death. He could've redeemed himself from all the bad he did, but Rose had to mess it up. I'd like to see Luke fight Kylo Ren or Snoke, but now we'll never get to see that. Finding out who Rey's parents were, was dissapointing. Overall I still think it was z great film. The best part if the film is after Snoke dies. When Rey & Kylo team up to fight together, man that was beautiful. Great film, great score, great action, great for the whole family.

I prefer The Force Awakens, but this is still good.

Good Star Wars movie but it could have been bigger.

I'm one of the few 3D aficionados still out there and absolutely hate the fact that Disney dropped the Blu-ray 3D format. Disney could have at least continued the 3D releases of Star Wars at least through the new trilogy to match SW: The Force Awakens 3D, which was a visual delight and a collector's prize. Best Buy dropped the ball too when it didn't include the 3D edition of the film the way it did with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the Best Buy exclusive release (btw the only way to get the 3D copy of GOTG V. 2 was to get the Best Buy exclusive release). I hate that Hollywood is making us choose between full HD 3D and 4K. I guess 4K 3D is never gonna happen... But yeah SW: The Last Jedi is a great movie, and you'll want to bask in all of its full 4K glory!

Excellent presentation, visually and audibly, but obviously one of the more divisive Star Wars entries among fans and newcomers to the series. Bonus features are plush, and kudos that Digital Copies continue on these newer Star Wars releases (versus the still ridiculously expensive original 6-film digital costs and availability). The film itself, similar to "The Force Awakens", retreads a lot of previous plot lines and "flow", but there's also a much darker tone and some liberties and rough twists to the characters that built the foundations of the original trilogy. CGI is becoming too much of the focus, which floundered Episodes 1-3 (among other reasons). Bonus points to anyone who can figure out how bombs drop in space with no gravity ;)

I will have to admit, it took me two attempts at seeing this film in the theater before it all sunk in order to appreciated the vision. The problem I think, is that this franchise has such a rich history of lore (canon and non) that gets even deeper with fan-fiction as well as our own personal 'head-canon' as to what we feel should happen. After the initial screening I took about 2 weeks off from seeing it again to let it all digest. After seeing it a second time, I enjoyed it immensely compared to the first, and started to appreciate all the little details. Getting the UHD was a no brainer since it also includes BR as well as digital. Looking forward to diving into the deleted scenes, as well as JJ Abrams closing out this trilogy! Next up, SOLO!
