This transfer was okay but it really didn't stand out 4k wise. Hopefully any future 4k transfers/releases will be much better than this one.

This movie is awesome and very cool if you like the Star Wars Saga, in my opinion. I wanted to buy the DVD + Blu Ray set. Yet that was a Target only exclusive which was Sold Out. Regardless, I am pleased and happy that Best Buy wasn’t sold out of the movie. I am happy that I bought it since I saw it in the theaters. I highly recommend this movie. The only reason it got 4 stars out the possible 5 is only because it didn’t have the DVD copy of the movie in the same set.

Lots of haters when this movie came out, and there really was a lot of bad things in it. But I thought it had some great moments. The casino planet scene was the worst, the humor could've been toned down, and a couple characters they could've done without. But by no means a bad film. It's part of a larger saga, so in the end it can be written off as a horrible moment in star wars history... Yes, worse than Anakin killing younglings, but nonetheless still acceptable.

The picture quality of this 4K Blu Ray is average at best. Disney doesn’t care because they want everyone to stream on Disney +.

The steel book is awesome and the 4k is very nice. the movie itself is deeply flawed and puts itself in the bottom half of starwars films.

I enjoyed the movie more the second time at home more than I did in theatre. Maybe I lowered my expectations. It’s worth seeing for SW fans. The video is top notch in 4K. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is good, but not as great as I hoped. The surrounds were active, but I just didn’t feel the punch and fullness I expected the sound to have since this is a new movie. The music is great as always and everything is clear. Just expected more use of the Atmos effects.

In this 8th movie of the series, we really get to follow the story line more, with twists and turns you don't expect. Visually, this is a stunning movie in 4k HDR (better in Dolby Vision) and the soundtrack/surround sound mixing is really good, especially if you are fortunate enough to have Dolby Atmos set up in your home. You can't go wrong and the kids absolutely love the movie.

This movie feels like it belongs in the Star Wars universe, however, it was a bit boring compared to others. The 4K looks great though.

I’m a huge Star Wars fan. I grew up in the 70’s and saw the original trilogy in the theatres. I like the Force Awakens but didn’t like this movie as much. As far as the overall quality of this disc the movie itself was filmed in 6.5K and finished at a 4K digital intermediate. The picture looks amazing and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack really serves John Williams Iconic score well. If you are a fan of this film I highly recommend this disc.

Saw this one in the theaters, needed it for my collection (I'm old school and not into the digital versions yet). I was torn when I saw it in the theaters. The tone of the series felt changed and this created a lot more questions than answers. Must say, watching for a second time (3rd and 4th and 5th . . . ), I appreciate it more for what it is. Not my favorite Star Wars movie, but worthy of being part of the story. Sorry haters!

Yeah, I said it. Come at me, bro! Anti-capitalist, anti-fascist, anti-war, pacifist, hopeful and aspirational all at once. Not since A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back was Star Wars this good. The photo on the listing doesn't capture how pretty the case is when you're holding it in your hand and seeing the light reflect off the glow of the lightsabers.

The best Star Wars! People don't seem to understand all the really great stuff in this cinematic gem! I don't want to review the film, it seems to start internet fights, but I love it and highly recommend it. This disc set is very feature rich with excellent bonus material and the digital copy even gave the unexpected delight of a score only version when linked to Apple iTunes!

A disappointing follow up to the Force Awakens. The audio and video is good for a DVD. If you have the money, upgrade to blu ray.

star wars the last jedi what needs to be said its STAR WARS!!! I'm a huge fan of star wars I've seen them all in theaters from the first original in 77 to the last Jedi. and all of the films to me was solid except for the last Jedi no its not a bad movie but the direction in which it has taken has created a lot of unanswered questions that any true fan can point out. its still a good family movie even if you're not a star wars fan

I was not impressed when I first saw it in theaters. It turns out I was just tired and not in a mood for it honestly. I fell asleep on and off throughout. So initially, I didn't like it. Upon second viewing (this time caffeinated), I enjoyed it alot more and found the pacing to be good enough to make it a solid Star Wars movie. Was it the best? No way. Is it the worst? No, we have the prequels for that. Enjoyable movie and enjoyable extra features.

A fresh take on a series that is in its' 8th main-series theatrical release. It is not flawless, there are a few pacing issues in the first act, and a few character arcs that don't work as intended, however, these issues are overshadowed by a competently directed film that feels the most unique, engaging, and pleasantly surprising since episode 4. Go into expecting a different take on the 40 year Star Wars formula and you will enjoy it thoroughly

So is the Last Jedi good... no not really but as a huge Star Wars fan it's not terrible but hey at least the 4k steelbook is great.

This review is based on the spec of the film and not the story. Overall the image is beautiful. Great colors and CGI. Soundtrack is typical Disney low audio. But also be aware this is the 2018 Dolby Vision version with a 2020 slipcover. Disney pretty much lies to its consumers. But that’s nothing new.

Who would have guessed that Rian Johnson's controversial take on the middle movie would be the best of a so so effort. The chances he took whether u like them or not clearly shine over the Abrams bookends that turned out to be Clift Notes versions of previous efforts. Still, I'll bet a good editor could trim out all the ancillary sidekicks and produce one good movie about Rey and Kylo.

Was very entertaining but lacked a certain magic that Star Wars films have, the whole Luke skywalker storyline was very badly written
