All hail space queen, Leia Organa! This film is highly contentious in the Star Wars fandom, but you can't deny it does something new and unique. My wife and I are huge fans of the film and it looks great in 4k. The steel case is great and looks awesome with each best buy exclusive steel case from the sequel trilogy.

Enjoyed the movie very much. At least this time they have finally explained the force. I hope now the writer's can take the storyline in a new direction. Especially since they have tied up all the lose ends. The CG was great, to me the sound track left a little of a disappointment. I have heard better. I wish they would work on that. For a Star Wars fan I can say I recommend this picture to see.

I’ve pre ordered through Best Buy before and have had bent or damaged steel books and the local store I go to doesn’t really care because the disc isn’t damaged. I don’t care about the disc, I care about the box it’s in. Obviously I care about the movie, the movie was great, that’s why I pre-ordered, but I’m a collector and don’t want a damaged product. This was in great condition.

While I would fall in the category of those who blame TLJ primarily for derailing the Skywalker saga, and the Star Wars franchise in general, the film is actually not that bad. The problem I had with it was that, for all its "subversion of expectations" it ultimately failed to deliver anything truly revolutionary, but neither did it dutifully play its part in contributing to the meaningful continuity of the 9 film saga started 40 years prior. I actually liked a lot of what the film seemed to be trying for, but it ultimately felt rushed and incomplete, and most problematic, it was intent on going off and doing its own thing apart from the films that had come before. If it had been a standalone film NOT in the main Skywalker storyline, like Rogue One or Solo, and been more thoroughly fleshed out, it probably could have been a good film on its own. As it stands, neither this story, nor that of Lucas' original work benefit from this film's status as episode 8.

I really liked this movie, more than The Force Awakens and especially Rise of Skywalker. I would rate the movies as follows: ANH, ESB, R1, ROTJ, TLJ, TFA, Solo, ROS, and then 1, 2, 3. This review is about Best Buy's service also. The package came very quickly, I was impressed. With "My Best Buy" rewards this only cost me about $5.00.

A worthy if not superior follow up to "The Force Awakens." Where TFA was basically a rehash of "A New Hope," TFA goes out of its way to forge a new path. Some may experience it as a great disturbance. But I did not. Characters were developed more and conflicts were intensified. For those who complain about that one scene, I just like to remind them that the Force made a baby.

The movie "The Last Jedi" has its issues but is generally a good story well told. This 4K edition is beautiful, with great video and audio quality and a decent but not impressive selection of special features. I do wish there were more special features. It does not stack up well in that department with other Star Wars films. Other than that, though, nothing to complain about.

As a long time Star Wars fan I was excited going into this movie. I left feeling a bit let down though. However, after watching it for a second time I liked it more, but I'm not sure if that is just because I didn't have any expectations the second go around. All in all it is a solid middle entry to the new trilogy. Best advise is to watch it for yourself and make your own judgment.

As a Star Wars fan this film does feel different from the classics and prequels, but it is majestic and beautiful to watch. It continues the story within a new generation, and just like episodes 1 through 3, it is a different era, and so should the films be. Disney may influence the films more, but they still carry the essence of the original that we all love so much.

Too many reviews here review the move; the point is to review the item. I can say with full confidence that in an age of streaming, THIS is the way to own a move; easy digital download, with added 4K and BR video hard copies. Everything works as expected, and it was easy to download the movie through the included instructions, to ultimately save in my iTunes library.

Purchased it just to have in my collection. I would say in my opinion this is the worst Star Wars.

Not really a fan of the new trilogy. The original 3 are still he best. But had to keep the set full

I won't try to review the film itself although I've been Star Wars fan since what became Episode 4 came out in 1977. I want to say that as far as I am concerned the film looked and sounded better than I remember from seeing it at the local cinema. I even caught things I had not seen in four times at the movies. If you are into Star Wars add this to your collection.

Lot of twists lot of turns but the Last Jedi proves that you set your mind to something and you can accomplish it. The Last Jedi is a must own for all Star Wars fans ....young and old. It's a worth while movie to have in your collection. There is great action..the special effects are really good and the characters help make the movie what it is just fantastic.

Could have been better, but since Disney bought the franchise it’s not like a Lucas production

First part of this review is about the 4k quality of the film, watching the last jedi in 4k and hdr is an amazing visual treat. Colors are vibrant, and details are sharp. Easily one of the best 4k disks I own. As far as the movie, I know this one has been divisive with fans, but I enjoyed it a lot. Sure it's not a perfect movie, no movie is, but I loved it.

This movie is quite polarizing, but I absolutely loved Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It's a bold, ambitious movie that takes Star Wars in new directions. I firmly believe this was a necessary step for Star Wars to last many years in the future. I saw things that I never thought I'd see in a Star Wars movie, and I was elated. Definitely worth owning on home video.

I used this Bluray as a reference for my review of The Rise of Skywalker. Picture quality is excellent and second only to the 4K HDR version. Colors pop especially in the final Battle of Crait scenes. Sound quality is par with The Force Awakens and the DTS-MA track does justice to the original theater depictions.

Let me start out by saying I'm a huge fan of Star Wars the entire franchise. I was disappointed several times in this movie but I will not spoil anything for a person that have not seen it yet. It had some fun parts for sure, also had I one big moment for a character that deserves it. I have heard people compare this to Empire Strikes Back but I will rank it lower then that.

Superb video and audio quality, and unlike many others I really enjoyed the story, don't understand all the hating on it. This is art and I feel Rian Johnson was very courageous to put some of the things in here that he did, like Luke's final battle against Kylo Ren, the astral projection part of it was my favorite, new Force power never seen before!!!
