The Last Jedi gets a lot of hate from some people. I'll sum it up as best I can. It's a great Star Wars film, but it's entirely too long. The storyline that follows Rose and Finn could have been cut entirely from the film, in my opinion, especially as it adds VERY little to the overall story. If that was done, this would easily be a 5-star from me.

Bought this as a Christmas gift not my favorite starwars movie but it's paced well

Would I recommend this to a friend - yes, definitely. Why? Because it's Star Wars! However, I remember the previous Star Wars shows that really grabbed your attention and that had phenomenal talent. Specifically, the middle three - great action! The last two movies, though, seemed very lacking in talent and character. We're already done with Episode 8 and it just hasn't gotten better - that is a personal opinion. The storyline just doesn't seem to have any depth to it at this point. Maybe I am longing for the days of pure Jedi action (Darth Maul, Qui-Gon, Kenobi) because these fight scenes were truly remarkable, unlike those of the last two movies when sword action was present. Maybe it's just the nature of the final 3 movies, I don't know (the Jedi have declined). These last three episodes can be made to have the action and performance of "Rogue One", though - what a great movie! However, in my opinion, the last two movies have been lacking. I hope the final episode sets a new bar, though.

Probably the least favorite of the newer trilogy. However, the visuals and audio are where this movie stands out. Very loud and very bright in some instances. The 4K movie now comes with a new slip cover that also matches the other 4K Star Wars films in the set.

Definitely have lots of problems with the film, but the quality of the 4K is excellent.

This movie isn’t the Star Wars I grew up with. The previous film was just a rehash of episode 4 but was still a fun movie. This movie was just ridiculous, bad plot and many contradictory Star Wars elements. I saw in theaters and didn’t hate it but on second home viewing I found it ridiculous and just a bad movie! Not recommended!

Having grown up with the Star Wars saga of movies, this one adds further to the franchise. I liked the movie and believe it just continues the saga. It does not have the same initial “awe” factor that I experienced when seeing “A New Hope” in 1977. Nothing will ever compare to that moment in time. But it does complement the series very well.

Definitely one of those weaker movies in the Star wars franchise. But it was an okay watch.

It's good, not the best, but definitely doesn't deserve all the hate that this movie gets.

This movie was gorgeous on 4k. The numerous times the color red was featured all looked stunning. The movie itself, however, was not what I expected. It was a chase movie, but a SLOOOOOW chase movie and very little actually happened. This movie could have been skipped over and it wouldn't have affected the hopeful enjoyment of Episode 9.

Big fan of Star Wars. Have watched all the movies and like where the new movies are going. Not going to spoil it for anyone, but there’s a character in the movie that’s been in other ones. I got the 4K version without having a 4K tv... now it gives me an excuse to come out of the dark ages with my old tv so I can see lightsabers in true HD

This latest transfer to the 4k disc format is much better. This disc was released before with the dolby vision added. The dolby vision has been removed; therefore, Hdr10 is the only format on this latest transfer. It looks better and the colors on the HDR is much more appealing than before.

Hated the movie in the theater, but watching it a 2nd and 3rd time I hate it less.

This is a great version. I love the collectible nature of the steelbooks. I know the movie can be divisive, so I'm not going into a review of the film. The steelbook is the same high quality that you would expect from Best Buy. It's a great format. If you want to own this movie and aren't waiting for a box set, this is the one to get.

Movie is great! I don't understand why some fans are so sensitive about a specific character. The story needs to continue so some characters can't continue to be part of the journey ahead. instead of complaining, just enjoy all NEW Star Wars movies with today's advanced theology and special affects... That's the real treat... :)

If you’re a STAR WARS fan..... JUST BUY IT!!! If you’re a fan of DISNEY...... JUST BUY IT!!!! and, if you know GEORGE LUCAS’ work..... “JUST BUY IT’!!!!

I know there was a lot of mixed reviews of this film, but I overall enjoyed it very much. There was a lot of action, good space battles, it advanced the character stories from The Force Awakens, and reintroduced original fan favorites. If you don't read too much into the fan theories behind this film its a very enjoyable and fun movie.

Not one of the better star wars movies but if your a fan you have to have all the movies.

I'm one of the fans who loved this film. It delivered unexpected answers to questions I had coming out of the Force Awakens. Visually stunning, especially the Crait battle, Ryan Johnson's vision teaches us that anyone can make a difference and someone can pull themselves up by their bootstraps to become an inspiration to others.
