Out of this most recent trilogy, this was the most disappointing one. I liked it b/c it was Star Wars, but this could have been so much better than it was. The thing about running out of fuel was lame. That's never happened or ever been mentioned in any of the other movies and now all of a sudden it's a major issue that costs the resistance dearly. And things could have been explained better, including how did the First Order come to power. It wasn't really explained in the prior movie either. Who is Snoke, and where did he come from? Why weren't the Knights of Ren in this movie when they were talked about and who are they? What was the point of going to the Cantina to find Maz's contact when they never even ended up talking to him. Dumb. When did Luke get so ornery and whiny. Yoda and Obi-wan treated him way better than he treated Rey.

My only question after watching this is.... why are there no other Star Wars movies in 4k?! This movie really pops with HDR and I'll keep my fingers crossed that they release at least the other "new" movies (e.g., Rogue One) in 4K/HDR as well. But regardless, this movie is a great watch and the sound and visuals are excellent.

There has been a lot of division over this film. It's my opinion that RJ made this film for the current generation and not for those of us who grew up with the OT. After I watched it I thought "He just passed the torch to my kids and this is now their Star Wars. They are no longer watching my Star Wars". Reference quality 4K disc!

I deeply understand why most audiences didn't like it. I deeply respect their opinions. To be very honest, what were you expecting out of this movie? I won't go into detail since I know there will be countless debates over each moment. To those who haven't seen it, I highly warn that there are things that you will or not see coming.

Im looking forward to the next movie i think JJ abrams did a much better job with the force awakens. This was still a good movie but it felt different than the other star wars movies. Was disappointed that the steelbook didn't feature a single character on the front and back like the others. Looks cool but doesn't match the others on my shelf.

I have been surprised at how I have enjoyed the new versions of the Star Wars saga. The young actors have not disappointed as they have carried the franchise well. I don't know if there will be more moves but this one has proven to be a fine addition in my estimation.

For a few reasons I did not enjoy this in the theatre and was pretty upset but having it to dissect in my living room on my system, I’m glad to be able to enjoy this film. The director’s commentary was a pleasant surprise and rare for these films. Guess he felt he had some explaining to do for one of the most controversial titles in the series!

This movie overall is awesome, my husband and I loved it!! the graphics are epic! I Bought it The week it came out and we have already watched it several times. I highly recommend this movie! I also recommend purchasing the “gamers club” if you buy a lot of video games because it has already saved us over $50 on only two games!

Steelbook packaging is fantastic and is definitely the route to take on this release. The movie is good but there are some long parts that would have been better left on the cutting room floor. I don’t think I like the direction they took this trilogy in the second one but I will hold final judgment until after the third release.

Last Jedi is quite a bit of fun, but continues a deepening trend of less "joy" and accessibility in this new series of Star Wars films. Where I was enthralled with anything Star Wars as a child who saw New Hope in the theater in the 70s, I watch disappointingly as my son, nearly the same age as I was back then, loses interest during some of the downtime in Last Jedi; largely due to the filmmakers wanting the films to adapt to us as we grow older rather than allowing us to adapt to a more accessible storytelling geared to new generations. Even in trying to make the films more for those of us that are older now, there's a mild disconnect between Last Jedi and Force Awakens where the pieces of the puzzle don't QUITE fit. Stories alluding to this new series being outlined with details to be filled in as they go along with different directors certainly ring true as you watch. Still, Last Jedi is an enjoyable, if not flawed, almost "forced" viewing.

So this is the first Disney movie to get a Dolby Vision treatment. They could've done so much better. Hard to tell the differences before and after switching between vision and standard HDR-10. The 4K transfer overall though is still good. Little fuzz in some scenes, Its ok, but still, looks like they rushed it. Maybe next time Disney.

If you must watch any movie it is always better in 4k UHD. If you haven't seen a full set up TV that is 4k uhd then you haven't seen true clarity. BEST BUY has a full set up for your viewing pleasure go down a check it today. You could seen the hair follicles on an actor's face no more makeup cover ups for them.LoL

Not great and not bad. It had some good action scenes but the movie was a little long

I have been watching the Star Wars movies since the beginning. I don't think very many movies get better with time but I think these have done well. Admittedly its hard to watch the original characters get older. The new characters are fun to watch and entertaining. I will miss Carrie Fischer (RIP) in her role as the Princess.

Ok first no star wars nut job. I do enjoy the films. There are three past ones I did not get into that much. some others have if correct 1,2,3(return of the sith) that group referring . Out of last three I think I enjoyed Rogue one the best, force awakens, then last jedi. I liked last jedi it has some plot holes but other wise enjoyed it.

Wish Best Buy kept to having one character on the steel case, just like the previous movies from Skywalker saga. This one and the next broke that format. If you are a fan and collector of BB Star Wars Steelbooks, you probably already have this on your self. :)

Love star wars but this one was ok. I really wish they would stop making more.

It's.... it's fine. Not great, just fine. Buy if you like sweet cinematography

It's a movie where one of the main plot points revolves around spaceships running out of gas. Why don't the enemy spaceships just jump to lightspeed for one mile to catch up to them? Why don't the enemies call in any reinforcements, since this is basically their only remaining foe in the universe? The world may never know.

Was an okay movie but fell short of the first one in the series. Okay for all ages.
