The latest episode of my favorite movies, shows the comeback of Luke Skywalker and Yoda. The story line is not what I expected but I did love to see Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia again.

I know some people were not a fan of this one, but I really enjoyed how they did Lukes story and Reys and Kylos Story as well. Left me wanting more and ready for whats next.

Ok so not as good as Force Awakens but i am willing to look past the weak parts of Last Jedi...Luke is going to be a Hologram ghost in Episode 9...who did not see that coming.

Video-wise this is a reference level movie in Dolby Vision. I was not a fan of this episode or the Force Awakens, but a must have for your Star War collection if you're a fan.

If you like Star Wars, you will most likely love this movie. Action, Adventure, Suspense, mixed with nostalgia. Would definitely recommend. The 4K is amazing!

How do you “drop bombs” in space. This movie seems to enrage many fans but I think it’s alright. Mark Hamill does well and it was a real return to childhood to see a puppet Yoda.

This is another great chapter in the amazing Star Wars story. It continues to build on the masterpiece of Star Wars and continues to set the stage for the next generation.

I enjoyed this movie unlike many others. I picked this up for my nephew to complete his collection. As I already own 2 different 4K versions of it. Thumbs up from me.

not the best star wars movies, perhaps the worst, worse than the Phantom Menace. Plot was a rehash of the Empire Strikes Back...young Jedi in training seeking a Jedi master that has exiled himself, group of heroes being chased through space by the "villans", heroes going to an elaborate-exotic location to seek help from a "scoundrel" type character that ends up betraying them to the "villians", oh and "walker" vehicles on a white covered planet (weather snow or salt). But the absolute worse scene, imo, Leia's "space-walk". There was plenty of time following Carrie Fisher's passing to edit or "fix" scenes that allowed Leia to actually not survive the blast, yet still used the "space walk to the other side" as a means to demonstrate the Force was within her. Instead of Leia returning to the ship, "space-walk" Leia should've faded out then not seen until end scene where Leia did see Luke on Crait. Also Ackbar should've now survived the blast revealing his attire was equipped w/ short-term space survival gear. Later digitally place Ackbar at the helm of the suicide run instead of Haldo, saving Haldo for a female commander role in ep9 where Leia would've been. Finally, having Leia's "force" spirit on Crait along w/ Luke supporting the Resistance. Then of coarse at end of movie, not Have Luke been the one to fade away into the Force. These updates post Ms. Fisher's passing, would've made the movie 100x better and brought Leia's story to a more respectful ending. Having her unused scenes fron ep7 into ep9 will force strange story-writing for ep9 imho.

Like most of the expanded saga, the sky is the limit but it fails to get off the ground. I pretty much bought it simply because I already own all of the others. Empire remake.

I really enjoyed this film regardless of what many have to say about it, and I was very pleased with the artwork on this one, especially how it looks as a fold out.

great visual scenes. As a star wars fan I like it, but I also am not thrilled with the direction of the story/character. Overall a good movie, my teen daughter loves it.

Bought this on sale during May 4. Definitely worth it.

I liked this Star Wars movie, but I still believe the original trilogy was the best. The movie kept my attention and moved at a good pace. The story line was good, but repetitious.

I love The Last Jedi, and I’m not afraid to say it. But this is a review of the 4K disc, not of the film itself. And to that, I say…it’s great. Pure and simple. Resolution is consistently sharp throughout, there’s a lovely amount of film grain, and the unique color palette pops more than ever. It’s a great showcase for Steve Teflon’s cinematography and Rian Johnson’s direction. The surprisingly candid “The Director and The Jedi” documentary is a welcomed addition as well. Concerning the audio, there are plenty of fun, unique things done here as well to looks out for (no surprise for this movie). The most notable being Rey and Kylo’s Force connection moments. The way the audio drops out completely, then their voices reverberated throughout the entire room is ethereal in a way that Star Wars doesn’t really get. The one note is that, it is a Disney transfer, so you most likely will need to bump up your regular movie watching volume about 5 or 6 dB in order to get it around the same level you’re used to hearing, as it always seems like their audio is mixed quieter. It’s evident that as much care as went in to making this transfer as making the movie, so if that is a positive for you, go ahead and get it. It’s a more rewarding experience than those Disney+ transfers.

Forget the crying fanboys... It was a great movie and probably one that will make more sense once Episode 9 is done. Don't forget, people hated ESB too... Now it's a fan favorite.

Being a Star Wars fan I got this movie love the special effects in the movie but they should had done a better story regarding Luke skywalker keeping his distance from the force

The images were sharp the HDR was fine, but it never really popped except in the throne room scene with its deep reds. Definitely a great addition to the collection.

Bought movie to view before next Start Wars movie comes out in December. It is so nice to watch DVD with closed captions so we would not miss any dialogue.

bought this to be a completist and while there are many things about the movie i did not like...it is still Star Wars in 4K. which looks amazing and sounds great too.
