Meh...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the most disappointing Star Wars film ever, except perhaps the Clones Wars cartoon movie (if that counts). Rian simply threw out the baby with the bath water. This movie did virtually nothing to build on the characters and their relationships set up in 7. Seems the whole point was to do the exact opposite of every major plot point from ESB to its resolution at the start of ROTJ... seriously, it’s the opposite in more ways than you can count...mostly boring and at times just cringe worthy. After making Rogue and Solo be overhauled before release, it’s hard to believe Disney let this out without major revisions. There are a couple things that are cool, but mostly it’s a hot mess ... of course, if you love Star Wars you’ve already seen it anyway....
