Episode VIII, Rey try's to get Luke to train her in the ways of the force. Luke resists helping her until his secret is revealed. Rey and Kylo Ren continue to have a psychic link which confuses both of them. The First Order tries to wipe out the Resistance in an epic battle.

I bought a new 4k TV this and wanted a current movie to show what the tv could do. This was an excellent choice. JJ did as many practical effects as possible with the newer movies just like the original thrre. The made for a great translation to 4k.

This is not my favorite Star Wars movie but it still has a good story and lots of action. I know there are many critics out there but I am a Star Wars fan. I like the darker tone of this movie and the desperate conflict between good and evil plays out here with terrific effects and memorable characters.

I love the approach this movie took and trying to bring some progression to the Star Wars universe. The death of Carrie Fisher was surrounded around this movie and it can be felt in the film. I am really interested to see how they would move forward.

The Star Wars Saga continues to grow with this thrilling installment. Expectations are subverted, and may cause feelings of discomfort, but it definitely gets better with subsequent viewings. A thought deconstruction of the Star Wars formula that sets up the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga.

By now, most people probably know this movie takes some interesting turns. I appreciate where Rian (director) is going with this ... it injects excitement into the trilogy. Diehard fans may or may not agree with some of the things in this movie, but overall, it's an entertaining addition to the Star Wars Franchise.

Everyone couldn't help but ask, is this going to be a remake of the Empire Strikes Back? Especially after The Force Awakens had so many similarities to A New Hope. Yes, there are a few, however the new edition is great! Can't beat the original trilogy but still a great addition to the Star Wars canon.

I will have to admit that this movie, in my opinion, was the best of the most recent Star Wars Trilogies. Personally, I thought they should have left the franchise alone. This movie, at least, captured some of that adventure making it somewhat believealbe.

I get the feeling at times that the director of this one didn't like what JJ Abrahams did in the previous movie but the movie is still better than what people have said. People complained The Force Awakens didn't take enough chances, this one took chances and people complained. Give it a chance and watch it.

man oh man there was a lot of hate towards this movie yeah yeah it feels like the same as the other movies i mean, doesnt this new trilogy feel like the original? thank goodness i am nor a huge fan of this but i still liked it it doesnt rival rogue one

This steelbook is very smooth and good looking with a debossed title, it's unlike any other they have put out. This is my 10th Star Wars steelbook movie and it's my favorite as far as design and artwork. The movie in 4K HDR is stunning of course, and Disney keeps hitting home runs. Highly recommended!

Many unpredictable plot twists but big letdown for Luke Skywalker.

4k audio and video are excellent. Steelbook casing is very nice.

I'm not a fan of all the extra content. I want the movie for the movie and thats it. Thankfully Best Buy has it and for a great price. The movie itself is great! If you're a serious Star Wars fan, you've already seen it. For anyone that casually watches Star Wars, you can't go wrong with this one!

This movie has divided opinions but all-in-all if you are a Star Wars fan then you should give this movie a second try. I re-watched it after seeing it in theaters and the second viewing made me appreciate it much more. The middle of the film is a little weird but still good.

Star Wars has become a series that just keeps giving. I got to say I did not like how they did this movie, but after seeing the extras and understanding how they developed this new chapter. I really enjoyed so much more at home. As so many, I have been hooked for decades now. Keep them coming

A lot of people hated this movie but I have to disagree. It’s seem only diehard Star Wars fans loved it. We recognize the flaws that it has, but also appreciate the amazing story that it is. From beginning to end, it’s a roller coaster of action and emotion. This is a great edition to the saga.

Huge Star Wars fan - this movie was spectacular visually, but I think the director failed us all - you don't need me to say why, it is well documented by everyone else, and I agree. Glad he is not doing the next movie. That said, its wonderful to watch and there are some really cool surprises in it...

My daughter loves star wars so of course she would ask for this for her birthday. I saw the movie with her, it was good, I personally do not like watching the same movie more then 2 maybe 3 times. But she likes to watch movies over and over. If your teen is a Star Wars fan then I recommend you buy this.
