Very entertaining game in both single and multiplayer modes. AI system offers a multitude of difficulty levels to challenge everyone from a beginner to the experienced RTS player. All in all, a great game.

I've been playing Starcraft 1 and thought it was cool but Starcraft 2 is better and has 3 races to choose from. It's a really cool game to play especially with friends online and the game doesn't get boring. It's a cool game to add to your collection. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I really think when you have a free time it's fun to play.

I have played starcraft since as long as I can remember, I've played every single blizzard game, Frozen Throne, Burning Crusade, the 1st Starcraft, Diablo II. But none of them made me pay $60 (other than WoW) I also heard that they are separating SC2 into 3 so a version per race....$60 time 3??? Now that is even more than what I pay for WoW . . .

easy online configuration tutorials are a little slow good when you get into the game.

Starcraft 2 is a great game, the graphics have vastly improved since starcraft 1 and the game play has changed dramatically. If you want to see just how much the game has changed look up hdstarcraft on youtube and watch some commenaries

This game is shaping up more and more to be everything that Starcraft fans have been waiting over a decade for. Having the developer finally return some focus to this franchise after developing the monster that is World of Warcraft is a huge bonus, due to the immense experience they've gained with Warcraft. Only a few people have been able to play the game outside the press... mainly those who attended Blizzcon 2007. Having been one of those lucky few I can honestly say that the gameplay is everything that we've loved about Brood War and more. While the new units are an obvious bonus, its Blizzard's attention to the small "nooks and crannies" details that really shines. Many of the small issues that gaming columnists only mention as a passing problem but can really irritate some dedicated gamers have been not only addressed but improved into some of the game's finer points. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone even thinking of joining the real time strategy crowd of PC gaming.

it is good. The single player story is great. The multiplayer is livly. it is almost as good as Dawn of War 2. It does not push any bounderies. It does not have the scale of Supreme Commander or the the level of character the DOW2 has is all it units. If you are an RTS fan this is must buy.

Not really much to say here besides the graphics are awesome if you have a computer to run it on high. I ran it on my Mac mini with no problems! It took them long enough to come out with this game but it was well worth the wait!

Well, I bought this game thinking it would be a fun game to play with my cousin who loves RTS games. I have to say, this is actually a fun game but can be a bit challenging for a beginner....especially to a weekend warrior type video gamer. If you are not familiar with RTS games and still feel the need to buy this game, do yourself a favor and set the Computer AI (enemy) to one faction and as low as you can set it so that the computer doesn't "rush" attack you so quickly. That being said, once you get a feel for the controls, hot keys etc. you can have a lot of fun playing against someone equal to your experience. Personally, I prefer FPS games so perhaps my review is a bit one sided but those are just my observations as someone who has not played many RTS games.

Bought for my son as part of his Christmas gift, he loves it !

This game is going to Rock. As a beta tester for it, I found that the graphics were amazing, it had fast and crisp video rendering, great audio tracks, and just awesome to play. Can't wait to pick up the full release. Long Over Due!

I love this game. Plays great on my gaming laptop. A great RPG. Takes a while to learn the best tactics for completing missions.

Not much to say, a well made game great storyline with the new price cut nothing left to ponder except upgrading the comp. Its a great buy for single and multi-player

The game is basically a graphical enhancement to the great original game with some better movies and more units added to it. Why mess with greatness? My only major complaint there is no Zerg/Protoss hybrids you saw in the secret level of Brood Wars. Unfortunately, even though they say you can play offline if you log in at least once every 30 days, which stinks anyway, they don't tell you it's broken now. If you don't have a constant connection you can't play anything no campaign, no skirmishes with the computer, nothing. So it's a glitch they created themselves with their DRM and they seem unconcerned with fixing it and can provide no timeline. Their customer service was useless and essentially said we we may fix the game so you can use it at some point maybe, don't like it tough, by closing & locking the ticket as resolved when I still can't play the game. My gut feeling, they're lying about it being worked on with any priority, but I could be wrong. The game is just oppressive with DRM and it annoys me greatly that the criminal pirates are still happily playing it for free while paying customers can't. I'm done with any future games from Blizzard. I'd suggest you avoid to so they learn not to treat their customers like garbage.

I have not played much of the campaign but I really enjoy playing multiplayer with friends. Sometimes we play co-op vs the computer and sometimes we play against eachother.

I'm currenty beta-testing Starcraft 2 and the new Battle.net. The game is absolutely fantastic! It takes awhile to get decent if you never played SC: BW, though. Some elements do need some work such as unit diversity and balancing but it is worth the wait!
