a great game, the single player is great, and the multiplayer is outstanding. great for both mac and pc users alike.

Any fan of the original StarCraft must get this newer version. Excellent story line for Sci-Fi fans and the gaming keeps you interested.

Aside from the updated graphics and slight changes to certain units as well as a few additions and the Ladder system(which is better so you aren't always getting matched with some S. Korean who lives,breathes breeds and dies SC). This game is fail. Unfrotunately it will sell well because of ignorance. 180 dollars total to play as all 3 races is a horrible idea for customer satisfaction although since it became Activision-Blizzard their Reputation concerns have become even more nonexistant. I enjoyed SC 1. Was anticipating this game for years. And am sorely disappointed. At least in the C&C universe when you buy the game you can usually get both playdiscs for the different sides and a total cost of maybe 50-60. Blizzard is expecting you to pay for 3 games at 60 a pop in order to fully play and enjoy SC 2. I do hope Blizzard eats it on this one and ends up having to "Battlechest" the entire game in order to sell it. At that point I may pick it up. But at this moment in time I'll play the free Beta that I got months ago. Hopefully they don't screw us on Diablo3 liek they are doing with SC2.

This game is sooooo awesome. I can't stop playing it. Zerg rushing is leetsauce now! Blizzard has done it again. They rock my world!

This game is an excellent single player game. It presents the player with a challenge all throughout, and can be taken up to a higher level of play if you wish. The storyline is ok. The game is horrible in multiplayer. If you want to play someone in a non ranked manner, you have to join a custom game. When you go to join a custom game, it forces to play the first opponent in the lobby. This means you cannot choose your opponent. To make a long story short if you are a beginner you end up getting forced to play people who are way better than you are, and you get obliterated with very little chance of winning. Needless to say it makes the game much less enjoyable. If you're a RTS game player who doesn't know much about starcraft or stracraft II strategy, and you have enough of a life that you wouldn't waste 16 hours a day trying to figure out how to win at this game, don't buy this game. Buy something where you have a chance of winning. It's a really nice single player game, but in the multiplayer game it's just not as good as it could be. The battle for middle earth I and II were way better than this game.

When this game comes out I will become a hermit for about 5 years before I take a few minute break from SC2 for lunch theni will go play some more. If you are lookng for comfort and love in your life and something to satisfy you then buy this when it comes out and toast some lings !!! You say i have no life but i say you havent seenthe true meaning of life until you have experienced this. Even though the game issnt out yet this is all true!! I <3 SC2

If you play starcraft, you have to get your copy of starcraft II. Fun to play, good balance.

We i played the first one, and thought that they would pick up and deliver the goods. So far, not so good. The first SC was revolutionary at it's time. SC2 feels like they just tried to cash in on what could be made. The story line is OK, the cut scenes are probably the best out of the whole game. Good textures and such. The actual game play appears basic. reminds me of some of the original C&C games. It just lacks integrity to me. Like one of the small game company's that obtain's a license and makes a basic mill of the run of the first one just to get the money. You also have to be connected to the internet to play. If you read the terms, it states that they can download patches or such WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE!!! I became very upset knowing this and thought about calling the 800 to get my refund. I decided to give it a try. If I would have known know and listened to the reviews before purchasing this game, i would have stayed clear. I am not impressed with this game or the Blizzard battle net. I feel like just never purchasing another from this company.

Starcraft 2 was the game I waited for for a long time. After I had played the original game multiple times, I wanted more. Starcraft's unique play style and thoughtfull mission types really engage the player (or players) into the story. If you haven't put thought into the RTS (real time strategy games) genre, this will most likely hook you.

This game may be the death of my computer, but so be it. Jim Raynor and Emporer Mengsk don't really look like hi-def versions of their Starcraft 1 counterparts... but so be it. This game is d*mn immersive. Best of all it still feels like I'm playing Starcraft, not a Warcraft 3 clone.

In order to play HOS so I need to buy it. Get a deal from BB promotion. It is easy to play.

Everyone who has played Starcraft knows how addicting the game is. Due to Starcraft people started to like RTS games since it was one of the best RTS for a while (7years). So how do you make a game that was legendary even better? Well to find out go to the offical Starcraft 2 site just google it and should be the first hit. BTW 60$ is worth it. For the Auir! (yes I am a Protoss fan)
