Good mouse, bad battery after long use

Have been using for about 6 months now and the battery life has definitely decreased. I turn my mouse off any time I stop playing and get about 15 hours of use before it is dead.

Went to the store in-person after the realization to buy a good mouse. Even the most expensive SS model is the same cheap plastic. This makes a good backup mouse since technically it functions. Software is ads for other Steelseries plastic mice before it is mouse software. USB type C dongle connector though which is cool. Has an A adapter if needed.
