Using 2.4 connection, constant disconnects. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling software. Used usb extender, did not help. For the brand was disappointed.

This Aerox 5 mouse is really very lightweight, especially compared to a “standard weight” mouse. In fact, I thought at first that it might be *too* light to feel comfortable, but I quickly grew accustomed to it. The waffle-cut shell looks pretty cool, and I’m sure helps cut down weight. It also gives the moues a bit of texture, which is helpful because the plastic exterior is a bit slippery. Movement with this mouse feels fantastic due to the high-quality, super-smooth gliding feet and customizable DPI (which can be quickly toggled with one of the buttons). The buttons are satisfyingly “clicky,” and two of the side buttons (“forward” and “back” on the side) are very convenient. I personally found two of the controls (the up/down rocker, and the silver button, both on the side) kind of awkward to use. Thinking about gaming sessions, I’ll end up wanting to map those to something that could save a keystroke or two, but aren’t needed in the middle of fast-paced action. Battery life is also very impressive, especially given the aforementioned lightweight form factor. I haven’t had this long enough to drain the battery, but so far, it looks like I’ll be able to go quite some time in between charges. Also, the high quality cord provided allows for comfortable use while charging. It’s convenient that this mouse works via Bluetooth or its with own proprietary wireless dongle, but do note: when using Bluetooth, most of the custom settings are unavailable. Speaking of those custom settings, they are configured using SteelSeries’s GG software, which is loaded down with all sorts of features that don’t need (like recording and streaming gameplay, among others). I really would have preferred something lightweight like the mouse – just let me map the moues buttons and tweak the moues settings without all that other stuff. I’m impressed with the lightweight design, super-smooth gliding action, and battery life of this wireless mouse. The buttons are a bit of a mixed bag, and the software is functional but a bit annoying. Overall, I think I’ll enjoy using it.

This mouse has worked extremely well. Its light and fast and charges quickly. The dual Bluetooth and Wireless works regardless of which device I have it connected to.

The button placement on the Aerox 3 is clearly designed for someone with very large hands. Even holding the mouse as far forward as comfortable, it was still a stretch to reach the dront thumb button. The top thumb button is also a poor design and difficult to actuate. The mouse is also very creaky, with substantial flex on the left side and moderate flex on the right.

It’s ok. Not the best. Has bad battery life compared to the Logitech mouse, and also looses connection t times when wireless.

It is disappointing that I have to return this mouse after one day of use, because other than one MAJOR flaw, it is an awesome mouse. This thing disconnects mid use and blinks white repeatedly, meaning it has to be paired again. It does this about every 30 mins or so, which makes the mouse conpletely useless. If you don't believe me, google "Aerox 5 wireless connection issues" and you will see thousands of people having this issue. It is not a one-off issuez it WILL happen to you if you purchase it. Stay away from this mouse, as well as anything Logitech, they also have connection issues. You will not have these issues with Razer.

This mouse is where its at!!! Straight out of the box it is quite impressive. The aesthetics of this mouse are incomparable. It has a futuristic mesh design that makes it extremely lightweight but still feels like a quality build that will last for some time. And when I say lightweight, I can hardly feel that I'm holding a mouse at all! It comes packaged with a USB type C wireless dongle to connect wirelessly to your setup , an extension adapter if needed, and a USB type C to USB type A data cable for charging and connecting with a wire to your setup. It was an easy setup and connect with the wireless dongle, I simply plugged it in to my available USB C port turned the mouse switch to 2.4ghz and my pc automatically connected without hesitation. When I powered up the mouse it flashed green before cycling thru several other rgb settings indicating that it was sufficiently charged to perform nominally. If the battery level drops to lower levels below 6 - 10 percent the mouse yellow and red if it drops below 5 percent. This mouse comes with 5 preset cpi settings that easily adjusted by pressing the center button 4 on top of the mouse. When pressed the rgb light indicator will change letting you know which setting you are set to (400 - purple, 800 - blue, 1200 - green, 2400 - yelow, 3200 - red) I primarily use 1200 cpi for most of my gaming and computing needs. If you want to fine tune this mouse to be all about you from the rgb settings to the 9 programmable buttons, there is the SteelEngine download that allows for al of that. It shows all the statistics of your mouse, firmware updates, button assignments, and battery level. Great tool to get the most out of the mouse. Ergonomically this mouse feels perfect in the palm of my hand. My hand rests comfortably on top in a natural feeling position with no fatigue. All the buttons are in the perfect position for me and they have a satisfying click and response with each button. The mouse slides very smoothly and all response time is very satisfactory. I see no lag as of yet with any of my gaming but I am waiting to see what happens when the battery life gets low. Hopefully it will perform just as well. There are settings in the SteelEngine platform that configure the mouse for energy saving modes but I like all the RGB affects to be fully active. So far I love this mouse and have zero gripes!

The design of the mouse is great. The most notable part of the design is how extremely lightweight it is. I like the cutout honeycomb design as it reduces weight and also allows for airflow below the hand. My only fear was spilling on the PCB with having the open back but luckily this mouse offers some serious water/dust resistance at an IP-54 rating. The RGB is a nice addition to the aesthetic; it looks especially cool glowing through the honeycomb cutouts. It moves easily across surfaces and it tracks accurately. The mouse boasts a 18,000 counts per inch (CPI), 400 Inches Per Second (IPS), 40G acceleration, and tilt tracking. The combination of these metrics really provide an accurate tracking experience. Likewise, the buttons feel great. Their clicks are satisfying and I like the position of them. I really like the connectivity options offered with the Aerox mouse. I have a MacBook and a gaming computer. For gaming I use the 2.4 ghz wireless dongle and for my macbook I use bluetooth; it’s super nice being able to flip a switch to switch between the two devices. Also, the battery life is great at 180 hours, and the fast charging is also great (estimated 15 minutes for 40 hours of playtime). The SteelSeries Engine app is great. You can update the mouse firmware; customize button assignments, customize sensitivity, and customize illumination settings. I found this mouse to be great for all styles of gaming. The 5 left-side buttons allow for deep customization options. For a game like Fortnite, where there are a bunch of buttons to click for the building mechanic, this comes in handy. There is also 9 button version if you need the extra assignability, but I think 5 buttons will be sufficient for most people. Overall, i’d recommend this mouse if you are looking for something wireless, lightweight, customizable, durable, and well-performing.

I don’t even know how people use this thing with a palm or claw grip. (Know it’s not made for a palm grip) It is so flat, it’s impossible to grab it. Also felt sort of cheap, not for me. Get a gpro x super light. I’ve used viper ultimates and the super-light. This thing is like paper with no grip

Terrible mouse, scroll wheel started acting up within a few weeks. Mouse is also basically impossible to take apart without breaking something in it (seriously, look up a teardown vid on it).

Wireless quit working after 3 months, doesn’t really matter I guess since the battery lasts 2 minutes anyway. Don’t buy.

Switched from a crappy razor mouse. This is poggers.

Lighi play a ton of first person shooter gamea and so far this mouse has allowed me the precision needed t gey an edge on my competitors. The rgb lights are a nice added touch. I am usually pretty standoffiah when it comes to wirless mice but this one has been absolutely amazing.

This SteelSeries mouse is one heck of a wireless mouse! It's darn near perfect for gaming and is, to me at least, a comfortable mouse to use for long term gaming. Ergonomically it fits rather nicely in my hand and after a few long term gaming sessions doesn't leave my hand feeling that cramped feeling many mice do. A full charge has lasted me about a week between charges. It only takes a couple of hours to fully charge up. Typically I'll leave it charging overnight and then it's good to go the next day. The build in lights add a flair to it that you might find in a wired mouse which makes this a nice bonus. The hardware buttons add a level of customization that I for one enjoy. Game play is great! For a Bluetooth mouse there is no lag or hiccups at any time. Tracking is smoothe and the lightness of the mouse makes it feel like an extension of your hand. The build material feels much more premium than one would expect from such a device. As far as a gaming mouse goes it's hard to beat this combination of build quality, performance, and looks!

Mouse stopped working after less than a week, it would not connect to the wireless dongle or Bluetooth.

I personally own FINALMOUSE PRO TENZ, GPW, VIPPER. And I can tell you very responsibly that this is the worst one among a bunch of competitors, worse than G502. The asymmetric design makes your two fingers on the right have to be placed together in a very uncoordinated posture. This is the worst point of the whole mouse, not to mention that a mouse can be heavier than GPW after making a hollow design.
