Love the mesh lightweight design, every time I look at it I think to myself, "That's a cool mouse" but I promise you that this mouse has worse buttons than any other mmo mouse on the market and will hurt your hands if you are doing anything for more than 30 minutes.

Bit pricey even with the price drop but second to none for what it is. The open mesh is cool but you're effectively paying a premium for something more likely to break. It's great but... watch your spills... or maybe buy a skin wrap.

The scroll wheel mechanism broke after a mere 8 months of average use, not even heavy gaming. Absolutely would NOT recommend. Going back to Razer products!

Great device so far, we’ll see if the hardware stands the test of time/usage. I’ve been burned before /cough razer /cough. But so far so good. Software is solid and functional as well.

The SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless mouse is an accessory as solid as steel. Being an avid fan of a critically acclaimed MMORPG, having the 12-button side panel is an absolute must, and this mouse has not let me down. Initially out of the box the design is quite striking. The open frame design is unconventional and adds nice flair. With that, the LED set on the bottom is easily visible and illuminates well. The overall design of the mouse is not only sleek but lightweight, resting easily and gently in the hand. The mouse is advertised as having an “aquabarrier” which is an important aspect given this open design. My hands sweat… a lot… and there being a waterproof feature is most definitely an advantage. Setup was quick and seamless. There are two options for connection, a USB-C dongle and bluetooth. The USB-C dongle is supposedly a more flawless connection with better reactivity time, that being said the dongle itself can be a bit finicky on my laptop and would on occasion get hit and disconnect with use. I found myself preferring to use bluetooth connection with my laptop, leaving the dongle in my computer as I alternate between these devices. The occasional disconnect was a no-bueno situation while playing online. I have gotten countless hours on a charge while using the wireless mouse, which is wonderful as I do forget to charge accessories. A plus of this mouse is that it is wireless. I have never previously had a 12-button side panel MMO mouse wireless and it is a game changer for laptop gaming. To fully use the mouse one must download the SteelSeries Engine. The engine allows for configuration of the action buttons (which was the most important part of me). There is an option to record action and bind it to the keys, just what I needed. You may change CPI to match desired gameplay. The engine interface is not very asthetically appearling, but is efficient and has multiple settings able to be modified. Personalizability is key. There are also illumination settings to allow for desired RGB. Orange/purples look great, which is always my test. All in all this is a solid mouse for an MMORPG, with bluetooth being desired over the dongle for laptop use

Issue with the scroll wheel where it intermittently scrolls up instead of down. Steel series customer service has not been helpful at all.

The mouse is excellent. However if you are buying it to use the buttons for macros you have to go one YouTube to find out how to do it.

This lightweight design is great! Despite being lightweight, it feels well-built and durable. Loving it.

The buttons are hareder to press. Its a good thing to me as you have to rest your thumb to move the mouse witch prevents accidental clicks .

I have had this mouse for just about 90 days exactly, and the mouse wheel is already exhibiting an issue where it registers phantom mouse wheel up inputs. These occur even when I'm not interacting with the scroll wheel. This is extremely disappointing, inconvenient, and ruins an otherwise fantastic product. It feels great to hold, and might be my favorite mouse I've ever used, but it is so poor in reliability for a $150 product and I'm a rube for trusting the build quality and not buying a 2 year warranty that I hoped would be irrelevant. I'm an idiot for thinking a mouse could last longer than 2 years. All my Corsair mice have had issues with the mouse wheel, but only after 2+ years of heavy use. 3 months is pathetic and I've wasted my money. If you feel like you want to buy this mouse, absolutely spring for the warranty because apparently these things are susceptible to failure. Thanks SteelSeries, you got me!

Great mouse! Smooth movement and responsive. Highly recommended for any gamer.

This mouse is great for MMOs. I have it paired to my laptop via Bluetooth and it is great not to need the dongle.

Works great with my system and fits well with my hand.
