    Looks and feels decent, but the controller software often crashes, and the on board profiles cause issues, like an unresponsive windows key(unwanted, not from the gamemode hotkey) , getting stuck in macro recording via SSbutton +f10, and a few other things.

    We bought this for my husband who is having trouble seeing the keys on an unlit keyboard. It may be fine for us with regular eyesight but the back lit area surrounding the keys confused his eyes, so he still had trouble seeing the letters. We had to replace it with a keyboard where only the letter was illuminated. The Apex 3 was also difficult to set up and learn to change the color settings.

    The keyboard sounds nice and has good RGB colors on it, but after a few weeks the keys randomly stop working for some time, not recommended for gaming.

    Beautiful illumination. SteelSeries GG Software is wonderful. Unfortunately my Alt and F1 keys don’t respond anymore and there is virtually no way to fix it. I have two of these keyboards and the other one works fine so far, so maybe I was just unlucky. I haven’t had this issue with the other SteelSeries keyboards though.
