Smoothest Keyboard Ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without a doubt this is the best keyboard I have ever used. This is my first SteelSeries product but it won't be my last. I've been using computers since the early '80's and never have I used a keyboard as smooth as this one. A masterpiece.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a new keyboard because I didn’t like my old one anymore. This was a great replacement and I love it. The noise is really good when typing and the screen is bright. My favorite is the customization features.

Excelent key response
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keys are perfectly responsive without ghosting. I have not yet felt the need to adjust the actuation point but it is easily done. My only complaint is the software for setting key color profiles is not very clear.

Great keyboard, salesperson sucked
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard itself is phenominal and im glad i kept it, was looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard and the salesperson provided me with this keyboard stating and asuring me it was wireless. This is not wireless but it works like a dream so i decided to keep it.

I'd give this zero stars if I could
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not only are 1/3 of the switches on this keyboard not hall effect, but they're garbage switches and they aren't even hot swap so you can change them. This keyboard (like everything else Steelseries) also relies on their GG software which is absolutely horrid. You can find real hall effect keyboards where the entire board actually uses hall effect switches for a fraction of this prices. And they also don't require garbage software to work properly.

Apex Pro Gen 3 Full
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a very nice sounding keyboard was originally going to go for the Apex Pro 2023 but wanted a new keyboard from the clicky clacky sound as this keyboard is more creamy and thocky sounding Would of gave this keyboard a full 5 stars but the magnetic wrist rest has a very small bump in it

Super adjustable, responsive keyboard WITH MAGNETS
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as gaming focused keyboards go It feels like this is a little light on overall features, lacking in any dedicated macro keys and the like. But the typing experience on it is rather nice. Construction is solid, it has some heft to it with its aluminum chassis. But otherwise it's a nice full-sized keyboard. I'm personally more of a fan of tactile switches. But the linear switches on this model are software adjustable to change the actuation point of when the key registers that it has been pressed. So, you can set them to only register when you bottom out the key or have it register with the most minute of movements for the fastest response time. I personally have them set at around 70% so I still have to intend on pressing the key for it to register but if I am typing quickly it doesn't miss keys that I didn't fully depress. It's a good balance. It's a lot quieter than my previous keyboard, both from it being linear as well as dampening foam in the chassis meant to mute the sound as you type. So it has nice thock, but it doesn't have the clackity clack of what you would typically expect from mechanical keyboards. Highly rated if you game a lot at night and have a partner that hates the clickity clackity of a keyboard. Or if you yourself likes a more quiet experience. There's per key lighting and a lot of preset options availible ranging from subtle breathing and solid lighting to straight up unicorn vomit and disco dance floor modes. With responsive lighting effects that can be layered overtop that only react to the keys actually being pressed. The Steel Series software has a lot of options to fully customize the keyboards behaviors, setup macros, bind system settings to key combinations etc. It can be a little intimidating to understand at first but with a little time It's not terribly hard to work with and get things dialed in and get the commands you need setup. The only thing really missing here is wireless functionality. and I am not entirely sure why there are cable routing channels built into the bottom of the keyboards chassis when the usb port for the keyboard really doesn't lend itself well to making use of those routing channels in any meaningful way, and I don't actually see any reason to use them for any other devices on my desk? Reminder, these are hall effect switches, so you know, magnets. I would suspect anything that produces a strong magnetic field might screw with the functionality here so, keep that in mind. Might act weird near big magnets? Might not work right after being exposed to big magnet?
