As an avid user for Steel Series products i was again impressed by the purchase of the keyboard has a great feel to it. Nice adjust-ability, easy setup, great quality and very aesthetic looking.

Prior to this I used a Logitech g910 Orion spark and I really loved it. After 5 years of use I had to replace the old one with something new. I am very picky and went through testing a bunch in the store before I ended up trying the APEX PRO and I was pleasantly surprised when I got it home and put it to use. The first thing I noticed was how it much more responsive my key strokes were. It was not something I even considered a problem with my old KB but having tried this one there is no going back. Sort of comparable from the 60hz to 144hz transition for a monitor. Not saying it is that drastic but it was a similar experience. It took a little getting used to as far as typing goes and it is slightly louder than I would have liked but the build quality, layout, and design outweigh the cons. As far as why it's a 4 star compared to 5 is that I wish it had media buttons to skip to next song or go back. It also has a very thick USB cord due to the fact it has a USB port on the keyboard which I will likely never use (it has 2 ports to plug into the back of your computer for this to work). I wish the USB cord was slimmer and also braided. Given the price tag my expectations is that it lasts at least 5 years.

Great keyboard. Got this to replace a HyperX keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches. These magnetic switches feel like a linear Cherry Red. The SteelSeries GG software offers control of the RGB and that bit is okay, it’s not the most intuitive. You can change the actuation point of the keys on a per key basis which is good for shooters and apply profiles on a per game basis. Overall it’s a great board that pairs up nicely with my SteelSeries wireless mouse and headset.

Keyboard works great! It's fun to have and use. Good software to back it up as well.

I really like this keyboard, the RGB is nice, the software gives me a huge amount of control (sometimes it's a little slow) overall I would get it again.

My grandson loves gaming and he carefully selected this keyboard. The keyboard really does have colored lights too! He also uses it for school and his old one of another brand had a problem. I didn't want to risk an internet delivery when Best Buy had it in stock. On sale was $10 more than on the internet but he didn't have to miss online classes for the next two days. He really likes his new keyboard. I also recently purchased a new cell phone from Best Buy for hundreds less than phones are sold elsewhere and am happy after using for months. The salesman confirmed I can use this phone with my service.

I am going to start off with a caveat. My first keyboard was defective. The keys would become unresponsive, and its lights would start flashing. Searching for the problem on the internet, I saw a few others who reported this issue, but weren't sure how to fix it. I went ahead and exchanged my board for a new one at Best Buy, and the second one is amazing. Tehre's never been any issues. I'd 100% recommend the board, especially if you can catch it on sale, but be aware of the potential issue.

Incredible feeling keyboard. Very responsive and infinitely customizable. The volume wheel, Smart OLED display and detachable magnetic wrist rest are all great features.

Awesome keyboard, great features, keys sound and feel good. Worth the price. Can use without installing software, but won't unlock all features until you install it

I game on PC pretty regularly and I've had both the Razer ornata (with wrist rest) and the Razer black widow and this keyboard well exceeded my expectations! The omnipoint adjustable switches are what gaming keyboards have been missing. You can adjust how well quicky the keyboard responds to being pressed and how far you actually have to press the switch for them to activate for every one of your games and actually save the settings. This keyboard combined with the steel series engine to manage the software are top of the line!

Overall great keyboard, the linear keys feel great, nice RGB. OLED display pointless imo, but it bay become more useful fith software/firmware updates. I would buy again.

Great keyboard, lot of features and customization and love the comfort and control you get with the new mechanical adjustable switches! It’s better than my Corsair K70 Rapidfire

Lives up to the hype. Smooth keys, lots of settings to play with, lots of versatility, and the screen is pretty cool.

Great keyboard. easy to type on, and is much quieter than other similiar mechanical keyboards. the adjustable key sensitivity works well, but the default typically works quite well for me. the first keyboard had a bad 8 key on the keypad. best buy swapped it out immediately for a new keyboard.

My favorite keyboard so far. The keys feel awesome, the lights a vibrant and smooth, the wrist rest has a nice texture and I love the lcd screen.

good keyboard overall a little big but if you have space i recommend completely it can do many different things such as glow up lower actuation and many more
