Like the title says, excellent! In fact, the reviewers, and even SteelSeries itself does not give this keyboard justice when they describe it. I purchased this keyboard at the actual store a few days ago. So this keyboard is being reviewed as brand new. I am going from a Logitech G710+ with blue clicky switches to this. First, I was worried I would not like these switches, as I am used to blues. However, I do find that I do in fact really enjoy the feel of these switches. I normally bottom the keys out, so I still have sound when I type, but, if you need to be very quiet, no problem, simply don't bottom out, and it is pretty much noiseless. Not bottoming out is easy to do by setting your actuation lower (aka, more towards one). Setting up profiles is very easy to do. You can have different profiles for each game, setting the lighting, the actuation points of each key, as well as macros. The keyboard switches automatically to the proper profile (if set) when the game starts, and goes back to what you had when you exit. The lighting on this keyboard is incredible. Nice and bright, vibrant colors. Fully customizable per key, like it says. However, there is even more then no one has covered. It has an option (via software) to be used as audio visualizer. If you play music (or anything with sound), the keyboard turns white, and it has a red visualizer that moves with the music/sound. Like the site says, it does work with Discord as well. But does more then I thought. When someone messages you, it appears quickly in the oled screen, but I did not find that too useful. What caught my eye is, when someone messages you, the number pad lights up a solid color (you can adjust this to do whatever you want, but I prefer the solid color for this function, as my keyboard is on rainbow, and it's easier to see). Some other keys also light up if the voice is muted, and yet others if you are talking. I love this as I have had my mic accidentally muted before in discord, or, it was on and I didn't realize it. With that said, using this feature does turn the LEDs off on the keys that are set to work with Discord, which I found disapointing. I would have liked for my theme to still work on all keys, and just light up if I get a message, etc... So I stopped using the discord feature. There are games set up to be used with the OLED screen, giving you different information on the screen. However, I do not own most of the games, so I am not putting that feature to use yet. The screen itself is a great screen, I really like it. Some say it's gimicky, and it might be, it certainly is not the deciding vote on this keyboard. This keyboard is worth it even without the oled. ONe thing no one talks about though, is the fact that the oled does in fact display num lock, caps lock, and scroll lock status. In addition, you can set the light on the actual key to illuminate a certain color when the locks are on (it is toggled via software). If you press the SteelSeries keys, the keys that are used with it will light up a different color, so you know what keys work with it. It just shows how well thought out this great keyboard is. I also want to talk a bit about Steelseries itself. I did a lot of research on keyboards before buying this. I chose this because I did a lot of looking, and steelseries is the only one that I found that did not have a lot of negative reviews across bestbuy, amazon, and other sources. In fact, it almost had no negative reviews. The company itself I found to be great. On their website, you can chat with a CSR, and they seem to be quick with tickets. I had a few questions before I purchased. Obtaining replaceable parts is very easy, as it's all listed on their webpage under "Accessories". Their replacement keycaps I find are reasonable, priced at 15 dollars as of October 2, 2020. You get the full set of keys for that price. The keyboard does have ABS keycaps. The wrist rest is also really great. It goes on via a magnet, which means there are no pins to break, like it did in my old keyboard. The magnet is very strong, and the rubber feet on the keyboard as well as the rest ensures the keyboard does not move around. I know the keyboard is quite pricey at 200 dollars, however, it is something you will have for a long time, and I honestly feel you will enjoy this keyboard for many years.
