It is a great headset could have better bass. But on my xbox one S which is only 2 months old it would echo on party chats for my friends so I tried a different controller and still did the same and another controller still did the same. So I tried a ps4 and it didn’t echo so then I tired someone else’s Xbox one S but a bit older Xbox one S and it didn’t echo so I have no clue why it did it to me but I just returned them because the echo was so bad for my friends.

This was a quality headset, but not really a big fan for use with my PS4. The retractable microphone was excellent.

Best Buy employee recommended this headset. My grandson is very pleased. I just wish it wouldn't block outside noise so well. He can't hear me unless I'm right beside him.

He needed a headset for his laptop when he plays his games while he is sitting. He is a truck driver and is gone for weeks. He really likes the headset, it suits what he needed.

I decided to step up my of gaming to the next level. This gaming headset makes minesweeper an unreal experience. I couldn't imagine going back to playing minesweeper without it.

These headphones sound pretty nice and are comfortable the price point is bit eh for them just bc of the rgb. If you dont really care too much for LED just get the version before this.

Others can hear sound over mic well. A little tricky getting sound levels low enough to hear important gaming elements as other sounds are too loud.

I have never owned anything from this brand but I figured I would try it out. To my amazement this product works well and has great sound. would recommend

I bought this headset for my little brother for Christmas and he loves it. Says it's a little tight on his head but he finds a reason to complain about everything.

My son tried other more expensive gaming head sets and the microphones kept having issues. This one has worked well with no complaints.

I currently own 2 other headsets besides this one, a Logitech G35 and a Gamecom 788. Both of these headsets are below the 99 dollar mark and both outperform the Steelseries Arctic 5. Comfort level though the Arctic has both of them beat, but that is as far as it goes, after I had paid for this headset I though to my self.. the LED's are outside, so this is an aesthetic that you only get to enjoy while you're not using the device and that is not a con to be honest, but just something to consider. The reason why I'm giving this headset a 2 star rating is simply because the sound quality is just bad... Keep in mind the Gamecom 788 was a 30 dollar headset and also 7.1 surround. The G35 is almost twice as heavy but the sound on that one is much better than both the Arctic 5 looks very nice, but the one thing that truly made me hate it was the static sound it kept making while jumping through Youtube videos.

Work well with playstation and xbox. Comfortable and good quality audio.

I bought this to replace my astros. I actually prefer these over the astros. They are lightweight and are really comfortable.

Bought for my son great deal and product! He built a gaming computer and this headset was the finishing touch!

Was looking for something good and not expensive i've got something TOO good for the price just perfect use of $100.

Steelseries products are the best bang for your buck everything they make are top notch

This isn't a great headset for any gamer or someone who wants a good headset to use for you right pc usesrs or console users

Works great for xbox. The mic works good. The only downside is no lights unless it's plugged into a computer.
