It was a pretty good headset. Best buy said I'd be able to use all functions with x box one, and that turned out to be false. Still pretty good headset for pc.

Steelseries makes great products as far as audio quality but this headset just would not sit comfortably on my head at all. Exchanged for hyperx cloud revolver

Product worked well... then it started to fizzle out. I turn my head and get half sound. It doesn’t reset itself. Very inconsistent.

So I bought this as my first headset based on reviews and a couple of people I knew that used this brand of headset for PC gaming. Well I had a lot off mic issues with this on my Xbox and everyone I games with complained they were hearing static. Long story short I exchanged it for a new headset which didn’t resolve the issue. Anyway I moved on to another brand for my Xbox gaming use.

These were nice while they lasted. After a while they did not stay on as well as they should have and became loose.

Not a bad set of headphones. The microphone could do better at catching my voice on discord!

They are just okay, good enough for just some general listening. Had a bit of a 'tin' sound to them.

Item was dysfunctional. All downloads and drivers were installed and headset would not work.

Bought these for Xbox one and opened box and they are not surround sound compatible with Xbox one.

This was my first gaming headset purchase. I had previously borrowed the PS wireless gold headset. This Steelseries headset isn't very good. For this price you can get some superior sounding cans from Audio-Technica or Sennheiser. Don't be fooled by these or Turtle Beach or any other. You're much better off getting a proper headset.

I would recommend these headphones to anyone that likes to play on the PS4.

Second pair of Steel Series, and even better then the last set (Siberia Prism). This company usually offers a great collection of headsets for excellent prices...more like affordable. The Steel Series Engine software makes it easy to change the RGB color, pattern, and sound range. PROS PRICE: For what you get from this set, there's not much to complain about. At a mid range price for quality headsets, it matches, if not better, than its competitors. FEATURES: this set eliminates side head rest extensions or rail extenders, and created non-extending swivel joints. They inserted a bungee band with a velcro attachments, that makes the set extremely comfortable and fits to any size head. The side pieces are as usual flimsy foam, however, still comfy, sits perfectly on your ear where it is not too far and not overly close. Multiple volume adjust settings for precision volume control. A fashionable-adjustable-retractable microphone with an illuminating mute light when activated. SOUND: The sound quality is moderately, and has little to none residual static playback at it's highest volume. The volume itself is outstandingly loud and delivers ample noise, which has 2 points of volume control...a separate adjustable desktop game-volume to chat- volume knob, as well as a turn knob on the headset. CONS Though an excellent set for the price and features, the one thing that plagues Steel Serious is the overall structure material. Plastic! In order to make Steel affordable, it uses plastic, which as you know is subject to fast wear and tear, and accident prone cases if not handle carefully. Another point, is this is not a wireless set. Though the wire is removable when not in use or need to adjust the lengthy cable, and it fits securely into the set, but, again, not careful, there's potential to snap it. Overall, structure quality maybe impeded by the material used, one should take caution with all equipment. Therefore, as long as the quality in sound, features, and even price supersedes it majority cons, then you have a winner. So, Artic 5's are a winner for mid-range shoppers

Bought the Pro originally and one side went soft on the left side so I tried to trade out but they ran out so went down to this headset. Worked great until tonight where the headset just cut out and the DAC would keep doing a quick white flash and only a quick burst of static noise before turning off. Headphones still worked as I tried it on my phone but DAC just died. While unplugged, the thing lights up but when the headphones connected, it just shorts out. Hope I can return or else I'm just gonna use them as headphones.

They are nice looking headphones. However, the sound is not very good, actually it is low. I bought the Razers instead.

I have an XXL head, 24 inches around. I have had to wear earbuds forever because nothing is big enough that's decently priced. Either my ears get crushed or my head gets put in a vice just above the ears. I once snapped a pair of my friend's Skull Candy's in half just trying to fit it on my head. I got these and immediately noticed that there is no kung fu grip on my skull like every other pair out there. If I can feel pressure while putting it on, I'll feel pain 15 minutes later. Not with these puppies. No pressure on the skull and my ears aren't smashed against something. I don't even feel the headband due to the way it distributes weight across the top of the head, and the ear cups are very comfy and breathable. I got them last night and put in several hours of Destiny on PS4 without a problem (something I have never been able to do with any other headphones I've ever seen at this price point.) As for sound quality, I have the same thoughts as everyone else really. Sound doesn't favor any particular range, and isn't bad. It's by and large better than any earbuds you'll find anywhere near this price. In summary: thank Odin for these headphones. I hope SteelSeries keeps this line going because when these wear out, I'll be looking for another.

The head phones are just not great quality, for the money they are good!

Steelseries wouldn't honor their own warranty. The audio jack/plug was a very poor fit, therefore affecting quality of sound. Contacted company, and was told you just return it to Best Buy. Would stay away from this brand. Don't understand how a company stays up with such horrible customer service.

Picked these headphones up a week ago and have used them for about 8 hours now and couldn't be happier. The price is great for the overall value of the headphones. Have always been using turtle beach headphones and these steel series are 10x better than my $150.00 turtle beaches. Can't believe the sound quality!

The right headphone went out for no reason. Never been dropped or even transported anywhere. All the headset did was sit on my head or sit on my desk. No idea how it broke so purchase at your own risk.
