Good headset in stereo. Terrible surround sound.

Overall a good headset that is designed very well. Comfortable and light. Probably the most comfortable headset I’ve ever used and I’ve had a bunch over the years. Unfortunately the sound, which in my opinion is the most important factor in any headset is good but nothing to write home about. Bass is lacking which takes away from the immersion. The surround sound is quite possibly the worst I’ve ever experienced. It was so bad, I thought the head phones were broken. Now don’t get me wrong surround sound in headsets is kind of a gimmick but some do it quite well. This one literally sounds like garbage if garbage had a sound. The tones are so flat and it’s just a soup of sounds swirling about. You can turn it off and just use stereo but then you might as well just buy a stereo headset. Overall it’s decent in stereo mode but they’re much better headsets and much cheaper than this. I don’t know how this thing won headset of the year from PC gamer but it’s pretty lackluster except for the design. I recommend the Razer Man O War wireless.

This is a great headset. Only con is that my ears ache a little after several hours of use. Slightly deeper earpiece would resolve the issue.

Sound is great. Battery life is great. All around nice product. Only complaint, though minor, is that it is a bit tight over the ears.

I was looking specifically for a wireless headset to avoid running over the cord all the time. It was easy to set up and works great. My computer is in the middle-ish of the house and works through the entire house and so far as to the mailbox. Only complaint is that the headset presses a little bit on my ears, my previous Logitech G230 sat more off of the ears. Mind you I only notice once I've had them on like 5 or 6 hours. I've worn them probably 7 or 8 hours consecutively without having to charge.

A good headset overall a bit easier on the wallet but you are probably better off getting a yeti or something similar and a decent pair of over ear headphones. Most gaming headsets suffer from the same issue they are generally comfy with a decent mic but the sound quality is always lacking. It's not bad if your looking for something convenient and comfy that works with multiple devices like a ps4 or xbox.

Wireless and sounds good. Mic works well and it autoswitches if you have speakers still. Well worth the money.

The quality (both build and audio) of these headphones is great. My only complaint is that I have big ears and the cans don't seem deep enough. They are much more shallow than my old Logitech ones. However if they were a little deeper, I think they would be very comfortable. They didn't squeeze my head at all... just pressed on my ears.

I really like the sound of the Steel Series software. The mic quality is good too. The band at the top for helps you adjust how high the cups sit on your ears and that works well too. As others have said, they are a little tight after a long period of wear. I don't have a huge head so I thought it wouldn't bother me, but it does a bit. I am considering trying to stretch out the metal band a bit. What could that hurt :)

This headset is amazing! I love not having to be jacked into my computer during gaming sessions for times when my wife calls me away to deal with an unruly child or even just being able to get up and stretch my legs. I can't count the number of times that a wired headset has become a problem for me and this thing is da bomb. It even has noise canceling which takes some getting used to when you're trying to talk to someone using the enclosed mic. I'm totally satisfied.

No pressure from the band that runs across the head and less likely to break at the earphone part of the head set. Retractable microphone with a range of at least 25 feet, and the transmitter is on a cord that allows one to add to the range of the headset. The transmitter is on a three foot cord. This head set is excellent for not only gamers but also for those who have to step away from their computers for whatever reason.

I have owned and used about 3-5 pairs of both wireless and wired gaming headsets. I would list this one as probably the most comfortable and convenient of my wireless headsets. It is also great for streaming since it has 2 audio drivers in windows - gaming and chat, to let you direct certain audio to certain profiles. It's surround sound drivers aren't the BEST, but it's probably 3-4th place of the headsets i own.
