The headset has an excellent battery life, it sounds and works great. The only thing that is annoying is that when the battery goes below 50% it turns yellow light on the power button. When I charge it to 100% the light and software still say that the battery is still below 50% (yellow light) when it's definitely not and does not change back to green. That software and firmware issue has to be fixed soon.. other than that it's great!

Very comfortable, freedom and decent sound. The sound is good but not the best but for being cordless, it's one of the best I have heard. For gaming this headset is a really good alternative. I have a BIG head and was worried this was not going to be comfortable at all on me but I was way wrong. One of the most comfortable headsets I have tried. Make sure to Download the steelseries engine for it. That allows for custom ability.

These headphones are the most comfortable headphones I've owned for my computer so far. The audio quality is very balanced and clear. The build quality is solid and these are a great value for the price.

I wanted a pair of gaming headphones and preferred wireless. These fit the bill and didn’t look horrible doing it. They sound great for games and movies, but music is a little scratchy. They aren’t horrible or cheap by any means, just not made for music reproduction. The setup was fairly simple and I had them working quickly. They are comfortable for me. I like them and am glad I bought them.

Overall - awesome headset. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, flexible mic is convenient, head-strap is comfortable, long battery life, ear-cups don't make your ears overly warm. Here's the catch -- it's NOT completely wireless. PS4 is wireless, but X1 requires a wire (comes with headset) that plugs into your controller. Would have preferred a truly wireless headset for the money.

I have used the headset for gaming and listening to music. I am impressed with the quality of sound and can hear so much more detail when listening to music or gaming.

i am really liking these so far, they are very comfortable and sound great. In the past, i always had issues with wireless headsets because they would disconnect, or you would get static occasionally, but have not had any of that with these so far. One weird issue, was that one of the cushions, squeeked like a chewtoy when you pressed on it at all (Like when adjusting them on your head) that has improved over time, but was pretty annoying at first.

My life revolves around the computer, whether I'm playing a video game, making a phone call, listening to music or watching a movie, I'm most likely doing it from a computer. With that being said, I need to have a way to listen to and speak to others when needed and that's where the Arctis 7 Wireless DTS 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset by SteelSeries comes into play. The design of the headset is rather unique in that instead of an adjustable plastic piece which can break after many adjustments, the Arctis 7 uses an adjustable headband to increase or decrease the height of the headset. At first when I saw this headband, I was thinking why would you put that on a headset like this, but after using it for sometime and getting use to it, it all made sense. The best feature about this headset (in my honest opinion) is the ear cushions. These things are SUPER comfortable. Now a days, whether I am working or playing video games I tend to do it for hours on end. These ear cushions on the Arctis 7 are so comfortable, that they make using them for extended periods of time so easy. Both the sound quality and microphone quality are great. I have no problem listening to or speaking to others whether its on applications such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak, in-game voice chat, and other communication platforms. Overall, a GREAT headset for gamers or anyone looking for a comfortable headset that they can use for hours on end without feeling uncomfortable, especially around the ears. Great audio quality will ensure that you can hear whatever you're listening to as crisp and clear as possible.

Very comfortable wireless headset, with gaming in mind. Perfect for PC and PS4. 7.1 is software controlled so, PS4 games have to be designed with that in mind to get full effect. Very easy to setup on PS4, just plugin dongle receiver, if PS4 is setup to auto switch audio signal it will go right to your headphones. I decided to increase the volume within the PS4, as the default 50% wasn't quite loud enough.

By far the most Comfortable headset have ever worn. The only downside is the inability to truly mix game and chat audio due to the lack of optical port

Love these headphones plugged the receiver in to the USB port and turned on the headphones they paired quickly and computer recognized them right off. Sound great.

I was thinking a little outside of the box. I work in customer service and bought this headset for comfort and audio. The music and other audio sounded on point, but for hearing other people on a call or voice was decent. I dislike how wear the sidetone feature was, I like being able to hear myself talk and not feel like I am screaming.

I was looking for a great set of headphones that had good sound, but didn't completely drown out the background. I still needed to be able to hear the family when they talked to me or called my name. These work well and create an immersive sound, and they don't slop around on my head. Have not used the mic boom yet, so no feedback on that component.

Wireless is seamless and the range is accurate. The battery life so far is as advertized, I used it for as long as 5 hours and it showed no sign of slowing down. The surround sound changes your gaming experience, it is worth it 100%. Best bang for your buck for a mid to entry level wireless headset. I also should mention that I wear glasses and these are comfortable for long term use with glasses.

I’ve tried a bunch of pairs of headphones for my gaming/ work computer. I’ve tried turtle beach, racer, astros A40 with mix amp and this is still my favorite. It’s super comfortable and the battery lasts forever. I like having the headset wireless for work so I can clean my house while working and the range is great! Would highly recommend for work or gaming. Or both!

Great sound quality, and battery life. Comfortable, and long battery life

Bought these for my son to use with his PS4. He goes through headphones like tennis shoes. Even though we just got these I believe they will hold up very well. They are very comfortable and the sound is great. I love how the mic is retractable. I wish the 7.1 was for the PS4 and not just windows. Wireless works great with the PS4. Overall these are solid headphones

As all the reviews stated, these headphones sound great, but I couldn't get past the strap method the headset uses for size adjustment. I had the strap as long as I could make it, but it still felt a bit too tight and small. I have an above average size head, but i'm sure there are larger and if it didn't feel good on me, I can only assume it would alienate a large group of other users due to the size limit.
