Left earbud started getting muffled while playing games

Doesn’t stay in ear well. Need stacked air cushion and an over the ear option but still be ear buds

Amazing earbuds all around won’t be switching anytime soon!

Bought two sets as Christmas gifts. Seem to be well made and fit was comfortable. However, sound quality was poor and chat was so thin that both sets were returned to store for full refund. Attempted adjusting audio with and without the app. Nothing really seemed to make a great improvement.

Terrible product. Cannot adjust chat volume. Sounds like you’re in a tunnel to other players. Horrible audio that cannot be adjusted. Frequently returned item and should not have purchased.

SteelSeries - Arctis GameBuds True Wireless earbuds. This is a very nice pair of terrific sounding true wireless earbuds. To me they offer a much-appreciated alternative to the large/bulky over the ear headphones that most gaming headsets are based on. These earbuds are very small, lightweight, and portable, making them ideal for gamers on the go, or if you’re simply not in the mood for the large over-the-ear variety. Travel well in the included charging case and are especially appreciated as a great gaming set that can also be used on the run paired to a smaller mobile device. The sound quality is amazing for their tiny “earbud” size. Design and build quality are top notch as well with a strong, durable feel. Come in black or white to suit your preference and match the rest of your setup. Design and Comfort The earbuds have a clean, attractive look and are very comfortable, even when worn for extended periods of time like gaming or just throughout the day for music or phone use. The immersive 360-degree spatial audio technology makes me feel like I’m right in the game. The available app highlights all the available features and allows full customization of many settings. The app can instantly apply custom presets for over 100 PS5 games to give you the most robust listening experience tailored to deliver the best audio experience for each particular game – The way it was designed to be heard. Also great for phone calls and music, eliminating the need to have a different set of headphones for all of the different aspects of my day. These are one and done and I can do anything I want seamlessly with this one pair of small versatile earbuds. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the built in microphone integrated into these buds does a phenomenal job of conveying crystal clear voice without any muffling or volume loss. I don’t have to yell out into space in order for this microphone to pick up my words so that I can a nice conversation without shouting. Active Noise Cancellation Active noise cancellation seems to be the new norm with just about any headphones or earbuds these, but it really works on these. The 4-mic hybrid technology on these earbuds automatically adjusts to your surroundings to eliminate background noises and keep you focused on what matters. This can be appreciated on every aspect from gaming to phone calls. Battery Life and Connectivity Battery life is great. Able to go 10 hours on the earbud batteries themselves and then the case has another 3 full charges to keep you going all weekend even if you forget the charge cable at home. These also support quick switch Bluetooth technology to quickly jump from platform to platform and once again allows me to work from a single pair of earbuds all day without the need for multiple headsets to cover multiple scenarios. Value for cost The cost is not cheap, but I feel these earbuds are priced competitively when compared to similar models from other brands. Overall long session usability and their quick-switch Bluetooth make them well worth it for their ability to handle any listening scenario you may have, all with a single pair of buds. Overall, I have really enjoyed playing with these earbuds and I think they are a great option for hardcore gamers who are ready for a switch from the bulky/heavy/hot alternative of over-the-ear headsets. These do it all in a small package, and they do it all well.

Buds will not connect to app for sound profiles and other features. Tried everything and customer service at steelseries was not helpful. Im returning these since there seems to be no fix for this in the near future.

Steelseries is an established gaming brand that puts out quality accessories for PC and gaming consoles. The Arctis Gamebuds do not disappoint. The color scheme fits right into the PS5 design. Connecting it to the PS5 or even PC couldn't be easier with the 2.4GHz wireless receiver that is conveniently tucked into the case. Speaking about the case, the received is held in securely by a rubber grommet via the male USB C plug and the buds themselves are held in place magnetically along with the lid. A strong shake or drop will dislodge the buds, but the receiver will likely stay in the case. Another note about the case is the inclusion of Qi charging (can also be charged via USB C). Should be a expected of ALL WIRELESS earbuds; entry level OR premium! The ear buds themselves are comfortable to wear for me. I have been wearing them while working for several hours or gaming without out discomfort or itchiness I sometimes get with silicone tips. It seems the silicon tips (comes with 3 different sizes) are a bit smaller than standard tips. Connection is handled via Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz. Switching between the 2 involves 3 taps to the right bud. I found this convenient to switch from gaming on the PS5 to switch over 2 my phone. I also liked that the face of the buds have a clicky button as opposed to touch capacitive surfaces which I usually struggle with to get the taps or swipes right. The defined clicks work for me since I can audibly hear if I successfully clicked the bud. There are more audio profile presets than I will ever be able to use. But the sound of music, movies and games sound as good as most other buds I have used. Tweaking the different settings will help but it's something each user needs to play with. What sounds good for me may not sound great for the next guy. I usually use one but when I'm watching something so I don't get yelled at while watching/listening to something, but with the transparency mode, I can listen to something with both buds in and still hear what is going on in the house around me. If I wanted to block out the house, then could quickly block it out with the ANC. While it isn't the Bose of ANCs, it does well to block out most of background noises. I look forward to flying with them later this month. Overall I am pleasantly satisfied with the Arctis buds in how they operate and sound. I have nothing bad to say about them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid set of wireless earbuds.
