    Not worth the upgrade IMO

I upgraded my older Arctis Pro Wireless headset thinking it would be a drastic change in terms of sound but I was disappointed. Firstly, If you have a router or another Arctis Pro unit around this one, you will get interference that sounds like it came out of a Transformers movie. Secondly, the sole purpose for upgrading was for the ANC (noise cancelling) while gaming. Turned on it also created a weird noise while playing. I use a separate headset (Sony XM-5) for music so I can't confirm how good it is strictly for music, might suffer form the same interference, who knows. Thirdly, the headset already comes paired to the DAC, but while I was playing and getting that weird interference, I figured I would try and re-pair, turns out its not as simple as the old unit, there's some extra steps (look them up online or read the booklet) which was an inconvenience. Lastly, the DAC has a single turn dial for volume and selection, but instead of a physical button, it has a touch sensitive "button" that when held, takes you to the settings menu. The only real convenience I found was the battery lasts a bit longer, and has a feature that will leave the unit connected if you swap batteries within 8 seconds. Its a single USB-C to the PS5. The EQ on the DAC is standard, but you'll need to be on PC for the full control.

    Wired vs wireless

I bought both wired and wireless to test which I liked most. Saw negative reviews for the wireless, so I was skeptical. I upgraded to these because my pro wireless right speaker lost sound. There is a noticeable difference in sound quality, the wired are better, and that’s with all wired usually. I am keeping the wireless, because after using the wired I couldn’t stand not being able to get up and do things while waiting for warzone lobbies. Also in order to use the chatmix in either headset you need the steelseries sonar software. (Hopefully a firmware will fix) This instantly hurts the sound for warzone. Didn’t seem to affect apex and other games. All in all the wireless is still an upgrade from the pro wireless by a little bit. I wanted to love the wired because of the sound, but couldn’t because I was so use to moving around with my last pair. Kept the wireless

Great headset, great sound, and I love being able to easily swap batteries out. I have had no issues with my headset for several months now and the only thing I would recommend is getting some cushions from Wicked Fusions, should you have to buy new cushions for a headset so expensive? probably not but the original cushions are just fine if you ears/head dont get hot

I had to replace my other headphones, the 7X—a really great upgrade. I was hesitant due to the price, but these are a great-sounding pair of headphones. Having the battery backup makes it easier to keep playing without delay. Great with PS5 and even better on PC with the ability to tune.

Has worked exceptionally well and is very comfortable once broke in. Being able to exchange batteries has been wonderful and keeps you going when you run out of juice. The customizable through sonar has worked wonders and improved my immersive experience.

I’ve used at least 20 gaming headsets before. These are by far the most comfortable I’ve tried. The air cups feel like calfskin leather, though they’re probably synthetic the base response is much better than the previous version. Nothing really to complain about except the high entry price. But if you’re looking at these, you know what you’re getting into.

Steelseries headphones are a game-changer, especially for their maximum volume. I enjoy playing video games at a very loud volume, and none of the other headphones I’ve tried have been able to meet my expectations until I tried the Steelseries. The reason I gave it four stars is because when I turn my PS5 from resting mode, I can hear the sound with a lot of interference. I have to restart the PS5 to resolve this issue. However, once I do, I’m completely satisfied with the sound quality. I highly recommend them.

The sound quality and software for this are amazing. You will have to replace the ear piece with wicked cool cushions because of the ANC. The headset is a little on the heavy side but you get used to it. The hot swap batteries means that you will never run out of battery while gaming.

The headset is very comfortable and sturdy. Once fully set up and using the headset with the GG app, you can control so many different aspects of the headset. Being able to mute out the sound of your clanky keyboard so your not being roasted by your friends is a plus as well!

Sound quality is better than any other headset I have tried, the interface is convenient and easy to use. the swappable rechargeable battery solution finally got me to ditch cabled headsets and I have not looked back. if you're shopping for a headset and torn on whether to save a buck or spend one, definitely spring for these.

Sound is amazing and very comfortable. The range and battery life are great- no disruption anywhere in a two level 1600 sq foot home which is great compared to the logitech g x pro headset i used before (lost signal on the stairs). No issues so far after over a month.

I really enjoy the battery packs. Im suprised by the life span of the packs and the sound is amazing. The bluetooth on it is kinda crappy cant game and be on discord at the same time without the soumd quality taking a huge hit. i guess the bandwidth isnt capable of that much data
