Great fit and finish. Awesome features, USB-C DAC, hot swap battery, wireless, noise cancelling, etc. Sound quality is absolutely the worst part of the headset. Even the bloated equalizer software can’t save it. Absolutely not worth the price tag. I was going to leave a 1 star, but the build quality at least merits an extra star.

The sound is great and the swappable batteries should be standard in wireless headsets. Where this thing falls short is the GG software. I’ve had so many issues with the software it negates all the best features of these.

    Lasted a year, then bricked.

I loved these at first. Right out of the box, they worked flawlessly even with presets. Battery life is pretty good and being able to swap out batteries is great. Unfortunately, these aren’t made to last. So let me tell you what went wrong. I bought these in May of ‘22. By Oct of ‘23 they are bricked. Toast. Won’t even turn on. So I tried everything. Resets, battery swaps, cables, you name it. If you search Reddit, the best anyone can figure is that the headset is stuck on safe mode. The issue here is that I can’t even plug them into my Mac (the firmware is finally able to be updated on the newest oS) because the headset will not turn on, therefore the SteelSeries client can’t register/read them. The folks at Steel Series have been working with me, however, that’s also a process. Firstly, they require proof of purchase (normal). After that, they want pictures, and a video with descriptions. It’s a little much. To make matters more frustrating, whatever they use on their website for uploading videos is hit or miss and you have to go to YouTube to upload. So we’ll see if they swap mine. I expected much more for 350$.

I've had these for about 2 months, and I really like them connecting to my phone not missing a phone call it's great! The problem is they'll just randomly stop working. I contact customer support and they try to work with you but it may only be fixed for a bit but then they "break" again. I run Windows 10 not some off brand Linux distro, so why am I always having issues with the DAC. I just don't get it. If you're not computer savy DO NOT GET THESE. If you don't mind put-sing around with your peripherals get them.

    Full of Half Baked Features

This is by far the most expensive and disappointing headset I've ever owned. I got tired of Corsair, their products are usually great at first but don't last, so I looked into switching and settled on these. The headset is full of half baked features, poor ANC, and bloatware that installs new sound drivers that don't work. It channels "games", "chat", "media", etc. into different digital sound drivers and uses their 'Sonar" feature to channel them into one output - but this frequently breaks, causes crashes, and doesn't even auto-default the sound devices properly. I wish I could still return them.

Had the previous model and it worked amazingly, but it had plenty of miles on it. The ability to use this headset on both pc and ps5 is amazong!

The earcups get uncomfortable after extended use. There is a notch in under the earpad that sticks out and presses against your ear. It's supposedly for the ANC. It might not be a problem if they offered thicker earpads as a replacement option, but they don't even offer regular replacement earpads as of now. So you're stuck with the worn-out, disgusting earpads they came with. Also worth noting, you have to use their idiotic "sonar" application to get multiple audio sources to work properly. And there is no optical in now.

Terrific headset. Not cheap. If you have Alienware PC you can't use the software that comes with it. Doesn't matter since Alienware has Dolby
