Overall, the headset worked well!... when they worked... I'm not sure if I got a bad unit, but after ~1-2 years of ownership, I started having tons of problems with Sonar (the SteelSeries software) not even recognizing the headset. It would take a full PC reboot--sometimes multiple--to even detect them as an audio input/output source. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the supplementary software (which, fun fact, deletes all of your micro-adjustment profiles in Sonar; didn't enjoy re-tuning again), updating drivers, etc. and nothing really changed. I just expected that ~60-70% of the time, I'd have to open their GG software, open Sonar, and change all of my input and output sources away from my monitor and back to my headset. Come to think of it, why isn't the *native* headset not the default in the first place?? But I digress. Just know the software used to run these cans feels like a perpetual beta test. On top of that, the microphone quality deteriorated over time as well. I went from having crystal clear audio to my friends boosting me to 200% on Discord and still unable to hear me over game sounds. Only way they could hear me is if the mic tip was quite literally *in my mouth*. Battery life was fine up until the very end as well. The hot-swappable functionality was one of the things that sold me on this headset. Towards the end, batteries wouldn't be recognized by the charger or they would appear fully charged only to pop them in to my headset and have them immediately die. Another feature that worked great until it stopped working. Overall, for $350 I expected more. Luckily the salesperson recommended the $70 GSPR plan so I just switched them out for Audeze Maxwells. Hoping I get better longevity out of them. Again, maybe I just lost the hardware lottery on these. Even still, the state of the GG/Sonar software left a lot to be desired; plenty of knobs to turn to dial out your specific sound profiles, but felt super clunky and inconsistent. The ownership highs were high, but the lows bordered on "unusable paperweight". Buy the replacement plan if you want to roll the dice on these.

I love these headsets it doesbt pick up any of my background noise and i can talk like a normal person and it picks up my voice amazingly

use this everyday for work and when im not so easy to switch to my other pc to play video games and such

Sound quality is great. Its better to use with a desktop, but you can still set up the base anywhere.

The ease if use is there, and the connection quality is really top notch. Unfortunately, your ears will touch the drivers, and for me this is very uncomfortable and hurts my ears after 30~ minutes. The sound quality also suffers from what most gaming headsets suffer from. They just don’t sound very good at all, and especially not for the money.
