I had the arctis pro+gamedac then went to the arctis 7+ wireless and now I have the Nova Pro Wireless, these are by far the best headsets I’ve had and love the fact that they connect to the phone and the game at the same tine

The headphones are tight on the head. The earmuffs are small around the ears and the right earmuff has something poking into the muff.

I returned the headset the very next day. I never return things, and I never review them, but this headset so underperformed that I felt morally obligated to say so. I've had a logitech 935 for several years now and was looking to upgrade to something better. After doing a fair amount of research I found this to be one of the MOST widely heralded headset that I have ever seen. So I figured "Thats awfully expensive but I'll pay good money for a good product." I had imediate concerns upon opening the box. The headset was surprisingly small for me, though I do have a rather large head so I figured "Oh well, downside of being me I guess." The headset did fit relatively well despite being small, though my ears barely fit inside the earpeice. After pluging in the headset and downloading the software I began to to poke around and see what the headset can do. Hopped on a call with a friend and asked how I sounded only for him to say I didnt sound any different. Again "oh well, I cared more about the sound anyway." So I fire up a game and I imediatly get thrown off by the sound. It sounds like I'm listening to a game on decent speakers through a tin can and theres an odd delay in the sound that is seriously of putting. I start going through settings to see if I can fix it, maybe some setting I didnt turn on. Through more testing I find that the surround sound is also truly awful. No real blending between speakers to make it seem like anything imersive and more like there are junk speakers about 6 feet away from you that turn on on at a time. I tried tweaking various settings, turning on and off certain features and while things MIGHT have gotten better, they never were any kind of GOOD. I had such high hopes for this headset and actually put myself in a bit of a financial spot for this only to get a product roughly as good as store brand earbuds. I genuinely would have better sound on my Sony earbuds than on this headset. The base station as well didnt have certain setting the manual said it did have ,such as a surround sound setting, and the "button" which seems to be more a sensor on the front that you use to go back in menus either wouldn't respond at all or would act like it was being held down leading to an anoying beeping in the headset and being unable to adjust anything with the base station. It may seem like I'm just trying to talk down this headset but this genuinly the most expensive dissapointment I have ever had in EVERY WAY even after looking up solutions and tweaking various settings. Which is a shame becuase I really wanted to like it. TLDR Despite wide regard as the best headset ever, My 4 year old ailing Logitech 935 beats this headset in EVERY way, right of the box. Compared to this glorified tin can with software.

It feels fine when you first put it on, but later the headset started hurting my head. I never had any headaches using HyperX products and I think I'll just go back to them.

Bluetooth combined with wireless so you can use your phone and game at the same time is a game changer. Your friends will quit asking you what you’re watching every time you watch something on your phone lol

Good headset at first but hasn’t stood the test of time, in under a year 1 battery stop working and the mic is intermittently turning off along with connectivity issues. Would not not purchase again at this price.

Headphones are really good with dolby atmos, if you plan on using these for long periods of time i do suggest getting upgraded ear pads, you can feel the speakers push against your ear at times.

These headphones sound amazing. But the mic is horrible for PS5. My first time using them, my friend said i was too quiet. So i turned up the mic sensitivity on my PS5. When my voice volume was good enough, he could hear constant background noise. I updated the firmware on the base station and headset with my PC but that didn’t help. I also tried turning down the mic sensitivity on the base station, but that didn’t help either. Why cant a $350 headset pick up on only my voice and not white noise?…

I think for a lot of people these will work okay but I would recommend you buy any other pair. This model from SteelSeries has a hardware fault that is easy to reproduce and for the life of me I cannot understand how more people aren't up in arms about it. Here are the steps: Connect default settings and turn on. Turn Sidetone OFF Put volume above 50% (it starts at like 60% default) Change the EQ setting. Now you will be hearing weird high pitched sounds in the left earcup. I reproduced this with multiple returns/exchanges, and with other people listening to make sure its audible. If you are exclusively using these to listen to music and never have any silent time, then it probably won't bother you. If you never change the EQ from FLAT you probably won't notice, and with Sidetone ON (horrible) you can't hear it over the other sounds piping through the microphone. Contacting Steelseries led me to warranty claims that would not fix this issue because it is a flaw with the design or software. Given the nature of the problem I believe it to be hardware, but maybe I'll try these again in the future if a firmware update tries to address it.

For the money the Sony headset sounds the same and are only $100. I have been waiting for better headphones to be released and was excited to get these cause the Sony headset sounds fine but are hot and not comfortable if you play more than 10-15 min at a time. the new headset was a pain to update on a Mac and then they don't sound any better than the Sonys. The mic on the SteelSeries I had to turn up the all the way to be heard. The comfort was better than the Sonys but they still were hot. unfortunately I will be sticking with the Sonys until I find another option. I have returned these.

I have had these headphones for awhile now, and I'm not impressed with them at all. The second battery has already died, and I have never been able to get these headphones to connect with Bluetooth to my phone. Most of the features are tied up in their software which is not that great. If I had the option, I would not buy these again, and I don't plan on buying from SteelSeries again.
