Average sound quality, side tone mic non-existent. Known issue apparently but for the cost of these headsets, should be much better than it is. Overall it is an average headset. Would recommend the astro equivalent over this one.

After trying every possible troubleshooting step you can think of, I never got the microphone to work. The red LED light is on, but it receives no input. Tried both bands on wireless, the aux cable, every setting on the base station, checked the software from Steelseries for software/firmware updates, settings on the games themselves, nothing worked. Will be returning these to get something half the price that will likely work much better.

I was super excited to buy and try these out. Unfortunately the wireless does not work and the headphones will not connect to the Dac. I’ve tried updating the software and I contacted SteelSeries customer support. Nothing has worked. I even tried resetting the Dac multiple times and it still won’t work on my PC or PS5.

Already malfunctioning. Sound is super distorted. Did a firmware update and it sounds worse. Keeps connecting and disconnecting in the middle of a game. Was amazing at first. Just so happens im right outside of my return window.

Upgraded from wireless pro and it’s been great and flawless

After seeing the high ratings, i was surprised that this product was a disappointment. The performance was bad. The sound would often glitch and cut out. Using the latest drivers and software I shouldn’t experience these problems. I tried 3 other brands from friends after this experience, and they worked seamlessly!

For some odd reason, my friends can hear my audio if I'm playing a youtube video.

Noise Canceling was atrocious. I would hear every keyboard click, every finger snap, mouse click, etc... not only that, but I would hear sounds twice, i.e., I would hear my air conditioner in life, and then I would hear it in the headset as well; it was white noise static. There are no solutions online. Do not buy if you need the noise canceling feature. Even with the noise canceling feature off, the white noise would still exist in the audio.

The active noise cancelling doesn't do anything as far as I can tell, which is not acceptable for a headset in this price range. I just spent an hour flipping it on and off, and there was no obvious difference in external noise. Is it just on the microphone? The marketing does not make that clear if so.

Well, it’s a wireless headset and that’s about the only good thing about it. Everything else is a huge disappointment; the sound quality is awful, the noise canceling is terrible. For the same price as this headset the Sony WH-1000XM5 is miles better at sound quality and noise cancellation.

I needed a solution that gave me rock solid spatial audio and surround performance in a pair of wireless headphones, plus simultaneous audio out for speakers and buttkickers. After trying almost 10 different options (all money down the drain), this system does everything I need, and does it well!

Good quality when it worked. Barely used it maybe 10 times and it just stopped working. Don’t recommend. Especially for the price.

Just generally unhappy with the direction of Best Buy products, service and availability in the past few years. Feel like this chain won't last much longer.

Great headset… when it worked. Lost signal to the receiver every 15-20 mins , had to Manuel reset every time. I got a Astro a40 wired after I returned this dissapointment and it was a complete game changer

Ok but definitely not worth the price audio quality or mic wise.

Audio has completely stopped coming out of the right side of the headphones. I paid 377$ For this junk and it didn't even last a year, that's pathetic. Software is trash too, constantly stops working, and forces headphone volume to 100 in windows for some reason the anc nubs dig into your ear, and the noise canceling sucks big time. Dont buy headphones from "Gaming" companies, buy a pair of seinheiser's or sony's or something.

DO NOT BUY. I wish I could give this a -5 stars rating. My gamedac (base station) is not properly working. The knob that spins to change volume and adjust chat audio vs game audio is always trying to go to max when you try to lower the volume. Reached out to warranty they said they won’t give me a replacement since warranty has expired and it’s only for a couple of days. Worst experience ever with a gaming brand. Don’t ever buy steelseries.

Do not buy this headset. The noise canceling speaker in the ear cuff pushes on your ear. I loved the Arctis pro wireless. So I figured the upgrade should be better right? Well they are in every way BUT the design has a major flaw. The noise canceling speaker in the ear cuff pushes on top part of your ear. I tried adjusting them but could never find a comfortable position.

Sound was alright, not $350 value but I guess better than average. The main issue was discomfort, after wearing them for a few hours, I got a huge migraine and felt pressure in my temples.

The noise canceling bump in the ear cup was a deal breaker, very uncomfortable. Returned.
