Great Gaming Headset. Husband Approved!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he's been glued to them ever since. Here's the rundown: Comfort is A+ - He can wear these for hours without complaint, which honestly says a lot because he's picky about headsets feeling too tight or heavy. Features that actually work - The mic toggle is super intuitive, volume buttons are right where you'd expect them, and everything feels well thought out. No fumbling around mid-game trying to mute himself. Battery life is impressive - He's gone multiple long gaming sessions without needing to charge. That alone is worth it when you're used to headsets dying at the worst possible moment. One caveat - The noise cancelling is decent but if you're comparing to Bose, it's not quite at that level. For gaming purposes though? Totally fine. He can still tune out the household chaos when he needs to focus. Bottom line: If you're looking for a comfortable, feature-rich gaming headset with great battery life, these deliver. The noise cancelling won't blow you away if you're an audiophile, but for the price and gaming use case, it's a solid buy. Husband gives it two thumbs up!

Awesome headset! No complaints!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound quality. Very comfortable ear muffs for long extended period wearing them while gaming. Easily detectable sounds when listening to movements while playing fps games. I highly recommend this headset! The battery life is really good and having 2 batteries so one is charging while the other is being charged means no down time while gaming which is such a added bonus!

Need a new top of the line headset? Look no furthr
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reviews on Best Buy's site and the web convinced me to go with this purchase. My Corsair Wireless Pros started to fray and the battery was getting fatigued after about 2 years of regular use. I needed to stay wireless but wanted to improve my user experiences that I found lack luster on my Corsair Wireless Pros. The comfort, the weight and the detachable mic. SS Arctis Nova Pros improved on what was a good set to an excellent set. I knocked this set down a star for the fact that the ear cups could be thicker. The ear cups have a protruding piece of hardware on both side and some people complained about them. I never felt them on the OEM ear pads and I am a big dude. Perhaps after like 3 hours (more than my avg playtime) I can see the minimal cushions giving to the point where that becomes a problem. Given such a big potential issue, perhaps those protrusions are part of the reason for why you should seriously still consider these inspite of this worry. All reviews including my own opinion praise the sound quality. Usually with high end headsets you could only have the best of one world. Some players (especially pro e-sports players) place a high value on clarity and directional audio. That is a difficult thing to achieve on wireless headsets, let alone in wired headsets due to how close the speaker are to your ears. Traditional home theaters and movie theaters have multitudes of speakers spread throughout the amphitheater along with separate bass channels. That is why the surround sound in a IMAX theater is a must for big action packed scenes like the nuclear test bomb in Oppenheimer. Headsets have to try and combine all of those features into a consumer product that is not targeting professional musicians and producers. The directional audio on these are outstanding. The technology has come a far way and perhaps those protrusions are part of that quality, so it was a compromise the engineers made. The one other thing that I value more, as I get older, I don't play FPS games as much. I like more bass and I am less concerned about hearing which directions other players footsteps are coming from. Playing Starfield, hearing the engines roar to life as you take off from a planet is very immersive. My Corsairs bass was good, but these are amazing. It is truly rare to find even among the pro gaming headsets where they can deliver on both directional audio and bass. The on caveat to this benefit is that you must use the software to Sonar in GG to achieve these results. The software is a mixed bag. It allows you to select presets like for World of Tanks or Starfield, but on the other it is sometimes frustrating to use. Getting the volume wheel on my keyboard to work properly is difficult and buggy at times. The added bonus of the external control device and an extra battery that can be charged in the controller, is a huge bonus. While the charge port on the headset is not intuitive, why would you need it when you have a backup battery fully charged in the to controller? The controller is a single color led and is easy to understand. The knob controls the volumes and has a button to switch to a crossover control for game or voice sound balancing. Another great bonus especially for the FPS community. If only the software was as intuitive as this device! I highly recommend this headset. 47 year old game that started gaming on the IBM 386.

Beeping jarring
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ended up disliking these because of how lampud and jarring the beeps are whenever changing modes or powering on and off however everything else about them was quite impressive. Most important feature that I've yet to find another contender for is the capacity to listen from multi devices simultaneously. If you are gaming and want to hear sound from your TV though the headphones in a mixed fashion, these allow for that experience the easiest. The price is a bit much, especially for ANC to be as mediocre, making them hard to recommend unless you've niche needs outweigh sound quality expectations.

Very good headset, but has some issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -Good sound quality, very good if you use the SteelSeries sonar software to adjust EQ and stuff. Without that, it's a bit light on the bass end and sounds very hollow. The software also includes 3D audio simulation to give you a sense of directionality in games and such. -Active noise cancelation if you like that. -Using the soft band for support they're very comfortable to wear for a while, better than most - though if you get pain from headphones easily you're still gonna wind up adjusting them quite a bit as the pressure will still cause discomfort and eventually some pain anyway. Hard to avoid that, and they're not the lightest headphones out there. -Having the two battery packs that quickly swap is very useful for wireless headphones like these, and the USB C charging port for if you can't or don't want to swap batteries is nice to have. Cons: -Sometimes the buttons on the headphones stop working altogether. Happened to me a few times when I swapped batteries, and I found that the only way I could make sure it wouldn't happen would be to intentionally go slow at swapping batteries so it wouldn't have a battery in it for at least 10 seconds (they're designed to automatically turn back on and reconnect if you swap the battery within 8 seconds to minimize how long you're out of a game - seemed like a glitch making the headset get stuck thinking it was off when it wasn't so it was ignoring the buttons or something, not sure, but kills the value of that feature). -The microphone sucks. The fact it can be kept inside the headset where it won't stick out or anything is nice, because I HATE using the microphone on this thing. It sounds awful, and it's way too quiet even with volume levels maxed EVERYWHERE. I tried using it with nVidia Broadcast to see if the AI noise reduction feature would improve quality at all, but it's so quiet that Broadcast can't even tell when I'm talking so it mostly just silences my voice - and I don't feel like yelling in my apartment to try to get it to work. I really wish they would put some effort into making a headset with an actual quality microphone. Price points like this, it's just stupid to have such a bad microphone. -While the wireless latency is good for almost everything, it's unusable for certain things. Personally, I use Rocksmith to practice guitar and learn songs sometimes. You generally can't use wireless headphones for that because the latency makes it extremely difficult to get the timing right and hearing the slight delay between when you play and when the sound comes out can be extremely disorienting. So this 'con' isn't specific to this headset, but to wireless headsets in general, I'm only including it because if you do that kind of stuff where latency is important you should know this is a bad way to go for that. I have to switch to corded headphones whenever I use RS or anything else where audio latency is critical. -Charging port would make more sense if it was somewhere around the edges, rather than underneath the removable plate on the side, pointing directly out. Having it on the bottom, in particular, would mean you could hook up a charging cable while you're wearing them and it would feel like regular corded headphones. Where they chose to put it... is awkward. And you have to keep track of the magnetic plate when you use it.

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the most impressive aspects of the Arctis Nova Pro is its exceptional sound quality. Equipped with high-fidelity drivers, this headset delivers crystal-clear audio with deep bass and detailed highs, allowing you to hear every nuance in your games. Whether you’re in the heat of battle, listening for enemy footsteps, or enjoying the subtle soundscapes of an open-world adventure, the audio experience is nothing short of spectacular. The ear cushions are plush and breathable, making it easy to wear them for long gaming sessions without any discomfort. The adjustable headband ensures a snug fit, and the overall build quality feels premium, making it a joy to use. The dual-battery system is a game changer. The Arctis Nova Pro comes with a spare battery, allowing you to easily switch out the battery while the other charges. This means you can game without interruptions, as you’re never left waiting for a recharge. The convenience of this feature is a significant advantage for those who spend hours immersed in their favorite titles! LOVE THESE!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had these for a few months now and I have to say they are AMAZING. Got them on sale upgrading from some corsairs and I do not regret it. Sound is amazing, the Sonar EQ is great, dual device with Bluetooth is such a great feature, and the quick swap batteries is just a cherry on top of it all. Lots of pros, one con
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headphones are comfy and sound absolutely amazing. The extra battery is very nice as well so there is no downtime for long sessions. The only problem that I have had that may be a no go for some is that the ear cushions dont seem to last. I have had mine for 2 years now and the leather is all cracked and flaking off. Kinda annoying for a 300 dollar headset. Not sure if they can be replaced.

Great on Sale. Less So If Not.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can get these on sale, they are still a very solid option. Good: These have pretty good sound quality, pretty comfortable for extended wearing, come with a second battery which can be charged in the DAC unit for hot swapping, easy control with the unit, easy EQ'ing with it's software. Bad: The mic is subpar for gaming from what Im told by others. The ANC (Noise Cancellation) is basically worthless. The ANC can't even block a single small fan on the opposite side of my bedroom. Once you use any headset with decent ANC you can instantly tell how awful this implementation was. When these are on sale (regularly) for $150 (ballpark) they are an amazing option for wireless sound, but at $350, it's a fight to because these aren't bad, by any means, but they quickly lose some of their value compared to other options in the price range depending on what geatures you most care about.

Excellent headphones, definitely worth the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent headphones, definitely worth the money. I hesitated because of the price, but I am glad I purchased the Arctis Pro Wireless. Sounds great. Comes with app that gives L/R balance control and ability to emphasize various sound categories like effects, voices, or music. Good enough noise cancelling. No bluetooth lag. Long battery life plus comes with two batteries that can be hot-swapped. Very comfortable headphones, I play 3+ hours every night wearing eyeglasses and no discomfort from these headphones ever. Solid feel, quality construction.

Best headset so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love. I haven’t owned too many headsets but this one is the only one I’ve had that makes me feel like I won’t need another one anytime soon. It’s built durably, the sound is great and the software makes it easy to fine tune it and make it even better. Software isn’t by any means perfect (not reliable, will crash) but it’ll get the job done most of the time. Love the simultaneous audio, that was a must. I don’t actually know what the mic sounds like, I never intended to use it as I have a standalone. The little mixer box is cute and fun initially but I don’t use it other than to mix here and there or change volume. I don’t use any of the other features.

Amazing headset but can't support Xbox Chat
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up buying the Arctis 7 returning them and buying this one. These are some of the best headphones I have ever used. They still slip off my head a little bit but not nearly as bad as the Arctis 7. I ended up uninstalling the software they suggest using with it. I don't stream from multiple sources very often and it seemed kind of annoying to use. That being said it did have some pretty cool features. The fact that these headphones look so amazing and the best part is the high quality DAC and wireless transmitter also serves as a battery charger. I really love never having to worry about my headphones dying. I wish more products would offer features like this. The only thing I really don't like about these headphones is the side of the ear where the battery plate comes off it is very sharp. It is almost like a micro plain cheese grater it shaves off skin from your finger. I'm not sure if this is only my headphones or if they are all like this. The only other con is you cannot use it for chat with Xbox. If you want to use it for Xbox you have to buy the Xbox specific version. The price of these is extremely expensive but for the extra battery I do believe it is worth it. I would give this product an a- grading besides the price and no Xbox support for $350

OG gaming headset the best of the best of the best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OG headset. Swapping batteries on the fly while one charges in the dock, and being able to listen to my TV with bluetooth while simultaneously listening to audio from my PC is a game changer. It’s one of those things that you didn’t know you needed, but now I wouldn’t consider a headset without that feature. The cushions are very soft, you can wear them for hours. The ANC isn’t AirPods Max level when it comes to noise cancellation, but it cuts down background noise to the point you don’t really notice it. It’s not going to completely block out every sound like traffic, but then again I would assume you would use these primarily indoors anyways. Mic works excellent. If you work from home this would be an ideal headset if you want to watch TV while you work but can’t have the sound playing in the background.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used almost about every headset in the gaming world, almost none compare to this one. Obviously I’m talking gaming headphones, not audiophile ones. The wireless works great, and it’s so convenient. I stream so the Bluetooth dual channel audio is nice, I can stream and have music playing without dmca. Sound quality is unmatched…. Literally all I can say. Battery having a dock with 2 batteries included to swap is super useful. Cons - Price at MSRP is kind of high….
