Very good headset, but has some issues

Pros: -Good sound quality, very good if you use the SteelSeries sonar software to adjust EQ and stuff. Without that, it's a bit light on the bass end and sounds very hollow. The software also includes 3D audio simulation to give you a sense of directionality in games and such. -Active noise cancelation if you like that. -Using the soft band for support they're very comfortable to wear for a while, better than most - though if you get pain from headphones easily you're still gonna wind up adjusting them quite a bit as the pressure will still cause discomfort and eventually some pain anyway. Hard to avoid that, and they're not the lightest headphones out there. -Having the two battery packs that quickly swap is very useful for wireless headphones like these, and the USB C charging port for if you can't or don't want to swap batteries is nice to have. Cons: -Sometimes the buttons on the headphones stop working altogether. Happened to me a few times when I swapped batteries, and I found that the only way I could make sure it wouldn't happen would be to intentionally go slow at swapping batteries so it wouldn't have a battery in it for at least 10 seconds (they're designed to automatically turn back on and reconnect if you swap the battery within 8 seconds to minimize how long you're out of a game - seemed like a glitch making the headset get stuck thinking it was off when it wasn't so it was ignoring the buttons or something, not sure, but kills the value of that feature). -The microphone sucks. The fact it can be kept inside the headset where it won't stick out or anything is nice, because I HATE using the microphone on this thing. It sounds awful, and it's way too quiet even with volume levels maxed EVERYWHERE. I tried using it with nVidia Broadcast to see if the AI noise reduction feature would improve quality at all, but it's so quiet that Broadcast can't even tell when I'm talking so it mostly just silences my voice - and I don't feel like yelling in my apartment to try to get it to work. I really wish they would put some effort into making a headset with an actual quality microphone. Price points like this, it's just stupid to have such a bad microphone. -While the wireless latency is good for almost everything, it's unusable for certain things. Personally, I use Rocksmith to practice guitar and learn songs sometimes. You generally can't use wireless headphones for that because the latency makes it extremely difficult to get the timing right and hearing the slight delay between when you play and when the sound comes out can be extremely disorienting. So this 'con' isn't specific to this headset, but to wireless headsets in general, I'm only including it because if you do that kind of stuff where latency is important you should know this is a bad way to go for that. I have to switch to corded headphones whenever I use RS or anything else where audio latency is critical. -Charging port would make more sense if it was somewhere around the edges, rather than underneath the removable plate on the side, pointing directly out. Having it on the bottom, in particular, would mean you could hook up a charging cable while you're wearing them and it would feel like regular corded headphones. Where they chose to put it... is awkward. And you have to keep track of the magnetic plate when you use it.

One of the most impressive aspects of the Arctis Nova Pro is its exceptional sound quality. Equipped with high-fidelity drivers, this headset delivers crystal-clear audio with deep bass and detailed highs, allowing you to hear every nuance in your games. Whether you’re in the heat of battle, listening for enemy footsteps, or enjoying the subtle soundscapes of an open-world adventure, the audio experience is nothing short of spectacular. The spatial audio feature further immerses you in the environment, providing a realistic soundstage that can give you a competitive edge. Comfort is another highlight of the Arctis Nova Pro. The ear cushions are plush and breathable, making it easy to wear them for long gaming sessions without any discomfort. The adjustable headband ensures a snug fit, and the overall build quality feels premium, making it a joy to use. The dual-battery system is a game changer. The Arctis Nova Pro comes with a spare battery, allowing you to easily switch out the battery while the other charges. This means you can game without interruptions, as you’re never left waiting for a recharge. The convenience of this feature is a significant advantage for those who spend hours immersed in their favorite titles! LOVE THESE!

Headphones are comfy and sound absolutely amazing. The extra battery is very nice as well so there is no downtime for long sessions. The only problem that I have had that may be a no go for some is that the ear cushions dont seem to last. I have had mine for 2 years now and the leather is all cracked and flaking off. Kinda annoying for a 300 dollar headset. Not sure if they can be replaced.

Love. I haven’t owned too many headsets but this one is the only one I’ve had that makes me feel like I won’t need another one anytime soon. It’s built durably, the sound is great and the software makes it easy to fine tune it and make it even better. Software isn’t by any means perfect (not reliable, will crash) but it’ll get the job done most of the time. Love the simultaneous audio, that was a must. I don’t actually know what the mic sounds like, I never intended to use it as I have a standalone. The little mixer box is cute and fun initially but I don’t use it other than to mix here and there or change volume. I don’t use any of the other features.

Great headset with multiple different settings. I use them on ps5 and by far the best sound quality I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the headset. Make sure to go through the manual so you know what each of the different features and settings do so you can customize it to your preference. The dual swap batteries are a really nice feature and super fast to swap out in the middle of a round.

Excellent headphones, definitely worth the money. I hesitated because of the price, but I am glad I purchased the Arctis Pro Wireless. Sounds great. Comes with app that gives L/R balance control and ability to emphasize various sound categories like effects, voices, or music. Good enough noise cancelling. No bluetooth lag. Long battery life plus comes with two batteries that can be hot-swapped. Very comfortable headphones, I play 3+ hours every night wearing eyeglasses and no discomfort from these headphones ever. Solid feel, quality construction.

If you can get these on sale, they are still a very solid option. Good: These have pretty good sound quality, pretty comfortable for extended wearing, come with a second battery which can be charged in the DAC unit for hot swapping, easy control with the unit, easy EQ'ing with it's software. Bad: The mic is subpar for gaming from what Im told by others. The ANC (Noise Cancellation) is basically worthless. The ANC can't even block a single small fan on the opposite side of my bedroom. Once you use any headset with decent ANC you can instantly tell how awful this implementation was. When these are on sale (regularly) for $150 (ballpark) they are an amazing option for wireless sound, but at $350, it's a fight to because these aren't bad, by any means, but they quickly lose some of their value compared to other options in the price range depending on what geatures you most care about.

The sound quality for games are incredible, the music on them sounds good but the bass in music is sometimes off a little. I love how comfortable they are to wear. The best part of the headset is the ability to switch the output of audio with a click of a button. And its very convenient having the 2 batteries with it because it practically never dies which is normally an issue with other wireless gaming headsets.

OG gaming headset the best of the best of the best

The OG headset. Swapping batteries on the fly while one charges in the dock, and being able to listen to my TV with bluetooth while simultaneously listening to audio from my PC is a game changer. It’s one of those things that you didn’t know you needed, but now I wouldn’t consider a headset without that feature. The cushions are very soft, you can wear them for hours. The ANC isn’t AirPods Max level when it comes to noise cancellation, but it cuts down background noise to the point you don’t really notice it. It’s not going to completely block out every sound like traffic, but then again I would assume you would use these primarily indoors anyways. Mic works excellent. If you work from home this would be an ideal headset if you want to watch TV while you work but can’t have the sound playing in the background.

This headset is versatile, well made, has high quality sound, and theoretically has a battery that never dies. I use this headset for everything, gaming through my pc, listening to podcasts while working out, zoom meetings, and due to it being able to connect to my pc as well as Bluetooth at the same time, I play audio from multiple devices. This headset does everything and sounds great as well 10/10

Amazing headset but can't support Xbox Chat

I ended up buying the Arctis 7 returning them and buying this one. These are some of the best headphones I have ever used. They still slip off my head a little bit but not nearly as bad as the Arctis 7. I ended up uninstalling the software they suggest using with it. I don't stream from multiple sources very often and it seemed kind of annoying to use. That being said it did have some pretty cool features. The fact that these headphones look so amazing and the best part is the high quality DAC and wireless transmitter also serves as a battery charger. I really love never having to worry about my headphones dying. I wish more products would offer features like this. The only thing I really don't like about these headphones is the side of the ear where the battery plate comes off it is very sharp. It is almost like a micro plain cheese grater it shaves off skin from your finger. I'm not sure if this is only my headphones or if they are all like this. The only other con is you cannot use it for chat with Xbox. If you want to use it for Xbox you have to buy the Xbox specific version. The price of these is extremely expensive but for the extra battery I do believe it is worth it. I would give this product an a- grading besides the price and no Xbox support for $350

    MIC BACKGROUND ISSUE

This is mainly used for my ps5. If used for PC POSSIBLY more options to modify. The mic does not block out much background noise, like kids, tv, fans. I have a loud environment where I play and the ANC works great for me, but people I play with can hear almost all of it. Headset extremely comfortable played for house with no issues l. Single player games make it feel more immersive. The 360 audio sounds great. If you play in a quiet environment I feel like the headset works amazing. If the mic blocked out more background noise I would make it a 5 star

I’ve used almost about every headset in the gaming world, almost none compare to this one. Obviously I’m talking gaming headphones, not audiophile ones. The wireless works great, and it’s so convenient. I stream so the Bluetooth dual channel audio is nice, I can stream and have music playing without dmca. Sound quality is unmatched…. Literally all I can say. Battery having a dock with 2 batteries included to swap is super useful. Cons - Price at MSRP is kind of high….

It took a while for me to get used to them and also had to tweak them a little bit to get them to a desired height and if you wear glasses beware they may not be all that comfortable at first and they move your glasses around if you move your head too much, but that’s just the comfort level. as for the sound quality it’s amazing and really good and the battery life lasts for a while and the fast charging the offers comes in clutch.

I’ve had the headphones for almost a year now so I feel like I can properly review them now. Comfort 10/10 - I’m a big eared guy that wears glasses and I have 0 discomfort with these while playing for hours. Sound 10/10 - after setting up the steelseries software, which might be the best headphone software ever, I was blown away by the sound these things can put out. Great highs and mids and the bass can get low without any distortion. Functionality 10/10 - Being able to be on one audio channel while on discord and another for gaming and being able to quickly turn one or the other down in favor of the other is an absolute game changer. Battery 10/10 - This beast comes with a dac/ charging station and two lithium ion batteries that get about 12-15 hrs per charge.. so essentially you’re always charged. The battery is hot swap-able so you are back in no time. Noise cancelling 6/10 - My comparison for NC is my airpod pro gen 2s.. so it’s hard to compete here, but they do offer a decent amount of NC. Let’s be honest though, you’re probably not flying or walking down a busy street with these so it’s really not super important here. Overall 10/10 - I’m taking out the NC score in my review because these are for gaming and I really don’t think it matters. These things are hands down the most comfortable, easy-to-use, best sounding headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my noggin and this is coming from someone that has always been a hard wire only guy. Do yourself a favor and buy these, I’ve already talked a few of my buddy’s into it and they thank me for it all the time.

An upgrade in just about every department over my previous headset the razer blackshark V2 pro wireless. Audio mixing software is some of the most in depth available. The comfort is great, I did not have issues with the noise canceling nubs that some people have had with the ear cups. The swappable batteries and able to connect with Bluetooth for music and calls while gaming is a game changer.build quality is unreal. A tad overpriced but unparalleled by any other options on the market.
