If you take gaming seriously, whether competitive or casual, the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is worth the investment. It gives you pro-level features, reliable performance, and versatility. I’d give it 5 stars for overall gaming experience. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the best gaming headsets I’ve owned. The combination of features, comfort, and sound performance makes it perfect for both competitive play and long hours in front of the screen. The ANC (active noise cancellation) does a solid job of cutting out background distractions, and the transparency mode is great when I need to hear something (like someone talking or a doorbell) without taking the headset completely off.

Sound is excellent, with a whole plethora of settings and tools. Being able to recharge one battery while using the other is handy and its not complicated to swap them. Mic quality is good enough for gaming and Discord use. If i wanted something better the go to is a stand mic anyways. The Dac is a cool new device which was easier than I expected to use and find a home for on my desk. Everything from ANC, Sidetone, and eq presets for Baldur's Gate 3 and a bunch of other games. Swapping between PC and Ps5 is quick and painless. The headphones are solid construction wise and comfy enough to wear them for 8+ hours and not have any fatigue. Overall its a solid investment and a nice upgrade from my Arctis 7s.

These headphones are great if you are like me and need them to primarily be a gaming headset but also use them for music and audio, work, and more. Having dual connections and Bluetooth makes them very functional. Comfort is great while the sound is pretty good it's definitely not HiFi

Amazing headset. Sonar EQ works great and has superior spatial audio compared to many of the high quality headsets I've used in the past. The DAC works great. Headset is comfortable although the leather ear cups can get warm but in no way is that a deal breaker. Personally I don't care for the ANC, and to be honest most headsets don't knock it out of the park. $350 is a lot of money. In my experience when I drop that kind of cash, purchases rarely meet my expectations. In my opinion the price point is justified and worth the purchase. Please also note, depending on your ear shape and size and how you position headset you might feel the drivers press into your ear. Most people including myself do not have this issue. But if I intentionally position my headphones to do so I can feel the driver hit my ear slightly. To summarize: Fair price point. Very comfortable. Amazing audio quality. Amazing spatial audio quality. EQ and DAC are great. Recommended!

Great headset! The hot swappable batteries are a game changer. The build quality is top notch. My only (minor) complaint is that they don't have ad much bass as I'd like. Out of the box EQ settings are ATROCIOUS, but with EQ tweaks they sound great. Just a tad underwhelming on the bass. If they added more bass it would literally be the perfect gaming headset

Awesome headset!!! Best fit! Best sound! Battery life is phenomenal. and the quick change extra battery is genius! upgraded to the wicked pads and it adds some weight to the headset but its worth it so you dont get poked in the ear like the original pads allow.

The perfect headset. I work in IT and need to have a headset on practically all day every day. These are INSANELY comfortable and never run out of battery. Plus the AI noise cancelling feature is a game changer for me when talking to clients while in a loud room. As for comfort, these are almost unbeatable. I would recommend ordering some cloth ear pads off Amazon… the stock ear pads that these headphones come with are comfortable, however, my ears get a bit hot and sometimes sweaty after a little bit of time. But that may just simply be a personal preference… speaking of which, customizing these headphones is super easy. Like I said, want cloth ear pads, order some on Amazon and switch them out in no time at all.

Solid product, nearly perfect. Swappable battery is unbeatable. Simultaneous WiFi and Bluetooth connection is a very nice quality of life feature I didn't know I needed. Slight high pitch tone when connected to Bluetooth and no audio is playing. I suspect many ears won't even be able to hear it. Connectivity is strong on wifi. I can maintain discord call quality through a floor into my basement without drops or stutters. There is one custom equalizer setting available through the base station. The base comes with many pre-made equalizer settings, but you must be able to connect to a Windows desktop to download additional presets and have more control over custom presets. The lack of a mobile app to push these updates is noticed. Active noise cancelling is not comparable to big players like Sony. Purchased in sale for for $280 USD. I recommend this product.

Upgraded from nova 7 and it's been am amazing change. Better sound quality as well as the hot swap battery. Really makes a difference when you don't have to have a cord dangling down your side. The setting on the dock are nice as well even though they take a bit to get use to. 10/10 would recommend and especially if it's on sale.

Theres just so much to like about this headset. Swappable batteries so you're never waiting for a charge. Bluetooth so you can easily stream music/podcasts/phone calls. Great sound quality. Some people say the pleather earphones can be uncomfortable but I have a rather large head and tend to sweat a bit and they are actually very comfortable to me.. they are a very plush pleather. Also one thing I dont feel like is explained on this headset but not only does it have active noise canceling thay you can turn on and off, it also has active noise passthrough that you can turn on. Very useful when you need to still be aware of your surroundings.

As soon as I saw a new steelseries headset pop up for preorder I had to jump on it. My arctis 7 of 4 years had just died and I was looking to get a replacement. I personally wasn’t expecting a huge increase is sound quality or battery, but I was WRONG. The sound was so crisp right away from the start, but it got even better after messing around with the Steelseries new sonar software. Never have I fully been immersed in gaming than I have with these. I will note that these guys have a noise canceling noise which isn’t crazy like Bose or Sony’s headphones, but it does a great job of canceling out the keyboard and my pc fans. I just think of it as a plus to an already great experience. The battery isn’t something ground breaking but a single charge lasts from 8-10 hours usually, but the really cool feature this has is a hot swap mechanic where if I take the low battery out I have ~9 seconds to get the second battery in which is a fantastic feature. One more thing to note is on the Xbox version of this headset many people were having issues with getting the headset to connect to the controller. The first thing it told me to do when plugging it in to my pc was to update the firmware, so if anyone has issues, try doing that before giving up. To be brief, this headset is very much worth the heavy price tag with its butter smooth audio, unique features and fantastic hot swap feature.

Gaming Experience with SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro gaming headset embodies the pinnacle of audio engineering and ergonomic design, offering gamers an unparalleled combination of immersive sound, comfort, and versatility. After spending considerable time with the Arctis Nova Pro, I can confidently affirm its status as a standout performer in the gaming headset market, while acknowledging a few minor drawbacks. Positives: Immersive Audio Performance: The Arctis Nova Pro delivers a truly immersive audio experience, thanks to its high-fidelity sound reproduction and DTS Headphone:X v2.0 surround sound technology. From the thunderous roar of explosions to the subtle nuances of ambient noise, every sound is rendered with remarkable clarity and positional accuracy, pulling you deeper into the game world. Customizable Audio Profiles: With the SteelSeries Engine software, users have the freedom to customize their audio experience to suit their preferences. Whether you prefer enhanced bass for action-packed shooters or balanced mids for immersive RPGs, the Arctis Nova Pro's customizable EQ settings allow for personalized audio tuning, ensuring optimal performance in any gaming scenario. Supreme Comfort: Designed for extended gaming sessions, the Arctis Nova Pro prioritizes comfort without compromising on performance. The lightweight construction, breathable ear cushions, and adjustable headband ensure a snug and comfortable fit, even during marathon gaming sessions. Say goodbye to discomfort and hello to uninterrupted immersion. Crystal-Clear Communication: Effective communication is essential in multiplayer gaming, and the Arctis Nova Pro excels in this regard. The ClearCast bidirectional microphone delivers crystal-clear voice transmission, free from background noise and distortion, ensuring seamless communication with teammates and adversaries alike. Versatile Compatibility: Whether gaming on PC, console, or mobile device, the Arctis Nova Pro offers seamless compatibility across a wide range of platforms. The included USB-C and 3.5mm adapters make switching between devices effortless, allowing for immersive gaming audio wherever your adventures take you. Drawbacks: Limited Surround Sound Accuracy: While the Arctis Nova Pro boasts impressive surround sound technology, some users have reported minor inconsistencies in positional accuracy, particularly in crowded or chaotic gaming environments. While this issue is relatively minor and may not be noticeable to all users (it is not to me), it's worth mentioning for those seeking pinpoint precision in their audio experience. Price Point: The Arctis Nova Pro is positioned at a premium price point compared to other gaming headsets on the market. While its performance and features justify the cost for many gamers, budget-conscious consumers may find the price prohibitive, especially when considering alternatives with similar capabilities at a lower price.
